    Step 1
Please make sure you have set the Geo-Filter up correctly by following the instructions here.

    Step 2

Make sure you are using Google Chrome as your web browser to access the NETDUMA interface.

    Step 3

Make sure that the Geo-Filter is enabled and that 'Show Hosts' is ticked.

    Step 4

Confirm that the correct device is selected on the Geo-Filter. If you've switched to using a different console, from wired to wireless or from wireless to wired then the console will show up as a new device and you will need to add the new device to the Geo-Filter.This is because the network interfaces of the console have different identifiers (MAC Addresses) so show up as different devices on the NETDUMA.

    Step 5

Go to Settings > Miscellaneous, ensure you have auto cloud and bleeding edge cloud ticked and applied. If these are ticked already press apply again to re-flush the cloud.

    Step 6

Reboot the NETDUMA. You can do this by going to Settings > Miscellaneous and clicking 'Reboot Router'.

Instead of getting your panties in a twist why not go back to your thread where you were having an issue and continue to try to get help.
The OS2 is going to be released when it is fit for purpose and not before.
I am sure if it was released early with bugs there would be a host of people bitching and moaning about it and I am 100% certain that it would be the people complained about its delayed release.
It's not like you have paid for the upgrade it's free when it's ready.
So, let's start again, you have had a 1-1 and it did not solve your particular issue.
    Remind us of the problem.
What features exactly have been promised and not implemented?
Please start a thread in the general support forum or at least point us in the direction of your original problem.

as above, always restart through the duma misc settings and never unplug it aswell as making sure cookies is enabled which is also very important for saving your configuration.

BIG__DOG got a reaction from fuzzy clam in Should I disable wifi from my main router, and use the r1's instead?
i have my own modem, my duma is connect to the modem and my nighthawk x8 is connected to my duma. My X8 is for the whole household and my ps4 and pc are connected to my duma by ethernet. Therefore all devices run through the duma which is the optimal configuration or the duma cannot control all devices which it needs to do.

An ISP will NEVER blame themselves for your problems lol trust me... This is what Comcast told me was perfectly fine and no problems on their end...

The red is packet loss over 12 hours...

And this was my ping to a COD server over 12 hours...

So if you want any kind of results you need to first figure out what the problem is, the game or your ISP. If it is your ISP then you need loads and loads of proof to show them and get them working on the problem.

BIG__DOG reacted to Sinister0208 in PSA: Avoid Virgin Media's Superhub 3 for gaming (read if you are with Comcast also)
Since I have had the Superhub 3, I have had nothing but problems with it. Originally it was the 'port flapping' issue which seems to have been resolved now. However I have been noticing that during gaming and VoIP calls, I get frequent latency spikes. As I use the Superhub 3 in modem mode, I assumed it was the Netduma router I was using, so I switched that out and it made no difference.

Therefore I browsed the VM forums and found this..

    http://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Gaming-Support/Hub-3-Compal-CH7465-LG-TG2492LG-and-CGNV4-Latency...

There seems to be an issue with the Superhub 3 chipset, which causes latency spikes under load. I never had this problem with the Superhub 2 which I had in modem mode with the Netduma. I don't think VM or Intel will be resolving this issue anytime soon (I believe the port flapping issue took several months to resolve). So I would suggest asking them to exchange the Superhub 3 for a Superhub 2 ac (or just 2).

Another post below, states that the Intel CPU erroneously could be dropping around 6% of your packets causing at least 200ms spikes! (worth a read).

    http://www.fudzilla.com/news/processors/42312-intel-s-puma-6-chip-set-falls-asleep

P.S. This issue may be present in some Comcast routers (Xfinity), so check the second link to see if this affects you.

BIG__DOG reacted to Netduma Fraser in I got some questions
70/70 is a general recommendation that we give because we have found that is the best % to eliminate local congestion whilst still preserving a lot of speed. This of course is only a recommendation and do encourage people to find what works best for them. You shouldn't experience spikes under load with 70/70 though. Are ALL devices connected to the R1?

The new QoS in DumaOS will enable full speeds whilst still allowing for the power of our QoS as you can see in our blog here: https://netduma.com/blog/announcement-unveiling-the-worlds-greatest-qos/

In regards to hyper traffic it would not increase your ping if used correctly. It is only meant for low latency traffic like gaming. If you are downloading through a device that is enabled in hyper traffic then this could cause an increase in ping.

70/70 is just a basic guide as everyone's internet connection is different. I use 86/86. Theres a new OS coming out in march which will totally change the look and performance of the netduma.

erm, it does what it say's it will do, read the advice above and do pingplotter tests to see what is causing the issue as it's doubtfully the r1.
