Max and Min available values are the nominal Down/Up values (those you pay your IP for) minus a 10 - 15% for the Bufferbloat.
The throttling is shown in the next line where his console (192.168.1.22) gets 21000 Kb Down and 500 Up with highest priority.
Rate and Ceiling are the values assiigned when his console is the only active device and when there are other devices connected, respectively.

What router are you on? And what Fresh Tomato are you on?
Im on 2020.3 for WRT54GL. It is possible to have QoS turned off and BW limiter turn on. You just need to download new version of it

Yes I agree that mtu is a myth and I think its kinda optional for the setting.

in my opinion, by messing with mtu I’d assume that I want to be ‘less instamelt’ I just want enemy not to instantly kill me when we start to engage gunfight. So slight milli-second to react is useful.

last night, I left my ps5 plugged into netduma and I totally forgot to switch to freshtomato. So I had played on netduma for like 2 hours and it was the 2 hours of frustration. My average kd atm was 1.5-2.0 and i died a lot to bs gunfight.

i left the game and inspect my network setting and found out that i wasnt using tomato the whole time. Lmao
So I changed back to Tomato and I can confirm that it is better than ndm in everyway. My kd had gone back from its loss last night. From 3.68 to 3.71
its crazy right? a 10 usd old router like linksys Wrt54gl can perform this good.

but dont get me wrong netduma r2 is still amazing with its simple geo filter function. I still have been using it along with linksys for geo filter

Hmm... but there was nothing but complaints about MW19's SBMM and Acti ended up turning it up and making it even worse.
Can't say I trust this info at all but only time will tell.

First couple of matches are always good for me too.
I've seen posts on twitter that Activision is implementing changes on SBMM.  I am keeping my fingers crossed.
I use fresh tomato. i find it to be the most robust and versatile open source firmware there is.
I'm trying your settings and they are good, even though I can't understand how MTU is beneficial when it comes to gaming.

Here is a typical CODCW session.
A mere 380 bytes OUT and 760 bytes in, constantly. The port listening (in my case) is 3076 (I thouhgt it was 3074).
    Let these packages have priority.
This is QoS at its simplest.

Sorry for quoting myself but I'm super excited. FT is amazing. These things happen while Netflix is on, in the other room.

Sorry man, but you got it all wrong. I don't complain about not finding noob lobbies. I complain about not finding a variety of good and bad players. A variety between having fun and being better. This is how COD should be. This is how COD flourished. This is how life is. You stomp noobs , you struggle with experts. This is excactly what happens in real life. You may work for IT or whoever, but you are missing the basics. SBMM has no place in COD.

    @Cussiv made me buy a R7000
I flashed it with FT and  first game on I went 30-8 but I'll post my (unbiased) impressions later because a VTOL helped a lot.
I have a feeling though, that FT kicks ass......

Hi. here is my 2 cents.
MW is most of all a noob friendly game (Joe Cecot's words, not mine). What makes you think that state-of-the-art routers, snappy ISPs  or 1 ms monitors will help ? Personally I think there is no difference at all.
The majority of new players that can't afford this kind of stuff, is Activision's main target group.
Yes. Throttle your bandwidth really hard. You'll probably have a couple of good games until SBMM kicks in to send you back to sweaty lobbies.

I run a 2 router setup similar to this and i only use upnp. No DMZ or port forwarding needed with my routers and dont have any problems with NAT types etc.
Remember for accessing both router interfaces do it all from the PC connected to the R1 as you wont be able to see the R1s lan IP (192.168.88.1) from the openwrt network.
The R1 should have a 'device' IP address on the the openwrt router (192.168.0.188) and on the R1 itself the LAN IP will be 192.168.88.1. and the WAN IP will be 192.168.0.188.
So looks like you pretty much got it figured out. Try setup without dmz and port forwarding. I cant remember the openwrt settings as mine has been in the cupboard for months but i had mine working fine when it was setup like you have.

If modem is bridged and R1 is in DMZ of OpenWRT then you shouldn't have double NAT, turn UPnP off on OpenWRT. Gateway just refers to the router address that device is receiving internet from which would be the R1 IP. Well done for getting it working.

Sorry to put my two cents in but you cannot turn off dhcp on the R1 and still have the geofilter work.  If I recall you can disable the congestion control though.  You are going to have to some how place the IP address given to the R1 by the Open Source router into the DMZ of the Open Source router. This should help with any NAT issues but i can't guarantee it.

@Chaiyoabc suggested to use Netduma for GF only and an open source router for QoS. I have posted what I'm trying to achieve here

How do you set up R2 with another for using the geo-filter? I'm guessing your fresh tomato router is the main, connect lan to lan with R2, console to r2? Do you only disable DHCP and QoS on R2? Do you put the R2 IP in freshtomato DMZ and console IP in R2 DMZ?

    - Bad Visibility
    - Bad Team Balance & SBMM; always put me against stacked team
    - The game require maximum effort in your end to optimize router to be as advantage as possible
Fortunately, Netduma Comboing with Freshtomato saved my my experience. >70% gunfight winning rate satisfied me enough. Been maintaining at 2.7-4 KD averagely. One Nuke
I encourage you to ditch netduma (I only use it for Geo Filter) and buy cheap router (mine is 8$ Linksys WRT54GL) and boot FreshTomato FW in. and there you go!

Nice. I played the Alpha on my FreshTomato router and its played very well. MW19 also plays very well with this router.

Still on DD-WRT and enjoying the game (CW beta) . Reduced my FOV to 90 , objects are rendered fast and I'm having a blast. Can't wait for  full release.

Yes, actually it's the predecessor of OpenWRT
Nothing special . Here is all my settings in one pic.
    I use 90-95% Down/Up.
Maximum Priority to my PS4 only  (use /32 after it's IP address) and whenever I want to do some testing limiting it's bandwidth, I turn it to Manual.
I do not use UPnP or DMZ.
    That's it.
