The amount of beta testing we have to do with these routers running Duma OS is totally absurd!  The amount of money we spend on these underpowered routers, just to have to run beta firmwares or old firmwares is crazy.  Duma OS 3.0 for the XR500 is STILL in beta.  I recently switched to the Asus GT-AX11000 Wifi 6 gaming router and have never been happier.  Stable firmware, amazing gaming features, and I can ACTUALLY use IPv6 and QoS AT THE SAME TIME.

theres 2 firmwares below the latest, you could try each one but you would need to reset after installing the firmware and there is security vulnerability If you do try them.

Fraser those are the speeds when I allow the router to determine the speed from the modem (Setup Wizard). I have disabled Mu-Mimo at @CRarsenxL 's suggestion. I have also set sliders down to 40% and turned on Auto-Enable.

Xr1000 is a beast of hardware but the software features are just not up to par...hopefully it’s just because it’s a new release. Any fixes? Xr1000 is a new era of beast, don’t use old methods for a newer age! I believe in duma. I do

Hey l2eactionz, as they say im doin doin! lol.. Hope things are well with you!
From prior experiences ive always understood both to be important.. But I was seeing more download packets verses upload.. Maybe now something has changed where that is no longer true.. Im always open to listen to all possibilities and open to every ones point of view to help us all understand this..
Heres the part that doesnt make sense to me.. When adding a Device to TP and proceed to play a game why does my download packets that are being prioritized show more then upload for about 4-5 games.. Then out of the clear blue all of a sudden my upload packets start to surpass my download packet count..? Thats playing the same game without making any changes in the router..   The packet count just starts to change from download being more to upload being more.. I just find that part very strange.. And its also kind of strange as this takes place the performance of the game becomes worse and worse.. So its this that makes me scratch my head trying to understand what is going on..
So my conclusion the way im thinking is that at the very least the packet count for both up and down should be very close give or take a bit.. But mine seems to get a bigger gap then what I feel is correct..
Are your packet counts close to each other or is your upload much more?
    Thanks!
    Zippy.

They're still determining the DHCP issues using the XR500 at the moment. Do you have any issues with getting an Open NAT on multiple devices?

Yes I can. I’ll post screenshots if you’d like , I’ll use 5 minutes as a baseline and run the exact same startup and games

Should you not just prioritise the ports the the game uses as shown in port forward.com
    TCP.   3074
    UDP 88 - 500
    UDP. 3074-3075
    UDP 3455-4500
So effectively 4 rules with the dest shown above all with the same source 1-65535

Okay I'd set those back to defaults and then see if the speeds adhere more to QoS.

What do you get without the QoS applied when it's dipped, full speeds?

When you prio something. It supersedes all the QoS functions. At least that what Fraser said. And I have zero clue what that means lmfaoo

I tried DSL reports just for the buffer but it’s not really a good option Bc it interferes w the DPI and is immaculate. I found the CB did the job well.

It is better. But I noticed I got 2k bandwidth every single time. No buffer. Could apply to wan be affecting the bandwidth? Also, I found TCP UDP1-65535 and 1-65535 was definently better. Hopefully netduma works on that apply to wan feature because it does work! Just needs a fine tuning
