Here they use D2 for the upstream for whatever reason... For that you'd want between +-10 and for D3 you'd want +-5 in my personal opinion from everything I know.

But yeah signals are perfect so it's more than likely the modem. I did have this problem last summer and it ended up being a bad amp feeding my street. Had huge random ping spikes up to 3-400ms so it could be a line issue, but since it's only happening since the upgrade more than likely not.

The only thing to do here is to change modems and see what happens. If it's still going on then you know it's an issue somewhere else and if that's the case GOOD LUCK lol

NJ too and yeah it will work fine... However it depends, do you need their phone service?

Let him check your line to fix any issues. PM me your modem diagnostic page where it shows the signal levels. I know when I had their all in one modem/router thing it sucked for ping. I had huge spikes just trying to ping the modem itself. You can however try putting it in bridge mode. That did help for me a bit, but at the end of the day I rather own my own equipment and keep everything separated. If it's a line issue bridge mode won't help.

Edit: Nevermind, I saw your other post... Those signals are PERFECT, but it could be a signal issue still. More than likely it is the modem though. Either way, I rather buy my own stuff so you can't go wrong with the TC-7610

Gigabit is a long ways away from being rolled out in most areas. I'd second what Buck said and go with the TP-Link 7610... No issues since I got mine!

TP-Link TC-7610 working PERFECT for me. 240 down/12 up on Comcast.

Telia.net sucks balls! Comcast was routing my traffic through telia because I complained about having a bad route and it made it even worse!

We haven't done much with apparel for awhile but we wanted to make something Christmassy & gamery that we would want to wear ourselves. We came up with the "I ❤️  Sleighing Christmas Noobs" design.

If you're interested it will only be on sale until early January then we'll remove it: https://netduma.com/apparel/

Okay so first go to congestion control - click on set bandwidth - type in your speeds - click update bandwidth and then yes when it asks if you want to auto configure the router. Your speeds will be normal now.

I'd say it's safe to assume that almost all recent Intel/Texas Instruments based modems have a problem since my SB6141 has the same exact issue

Sounds like you just have some things setup wrong. Also cod uses dedicated servers, and the Netduma helps you play on servers that you want to play on.

For wifi that is faster than the router can handle, you can use your old router as an access point just for wifi.
