Depending on the model of modem/router bridge mode isn't always the best. In this scenario it is worth trying the DMZ instead. I would suggest disabling those options as well yes, the R2 has an inbuilt firewall so you're still protected.

    Hey!
What's the frequency of these drops? Are we talking every few hours or days?
Do you know if you are still able to connect through the ISP router when these drops occur?
You could try setting a static IP address for the R2 on the ISP router, in case this is a DHCP lease issue.

Why it works for some and not all i dont know but you should not need to forward ports with a Duma device.

I'm actually using dualsense via cable, but I left the PS5 away from the router. I will analyze it to see how it will look now.

    Hi everyone,
We know what you’re thinking, and we get it.
We said R2 updates would be frequent (and they will be), but this update ended up enveloping a lot more than we initially expected. That’s frustrating for you and for us too.
However, we hope you’ll find the wait was worth it – this is a huge update with fixes and changes across the board. Feedback on the R2 has been great, helping us to improve everyone’s experience while fixing specific problems too. The changelog below shows just much work has gone into this update.
This is the latest in DumaOS and it sets the stage for new features we’ll reveal in the near future. From all of us at Netduma, thanks for your patience, and for caring enough about DumaOS to stay vocal. We hope you enjoy the latest firmware!

Sure, I think my packets are travelling to lot of hops before getting to its endpoint, routing issues, a subject I'm exhausted discussing with my ISP. Which is CLARO NET. I have notice enabling QOS + Traffic Prio and lowering my gaming bandwidth has improved a lot the hit reg and aim assist real time. Now playing with 4mb down and 1 mb up. PING still varieties from 40-60ms, no packet loss and once and while packet burst signs(3 yellow squares) when it used to pop up every 30s on my screen.

    @Andpodepah,
I believe we facing some weird issues on Brazlians servers. Altought geo filter is locked to find matches within the polygon area(Brazil) in my case, it turned out connecting as peer somewheres in North America. Was used to play within 35ms-50ms now I'm getting 60ms-80ms.

Well after using BASIC Manual - Game Console for over a month, i have changed to ADVANCED and forward all the port which COD uses such as 80, 443, etc I will be testing it and update over here. Yet interesting to know from the moderator which one is better BASIC or ADVANCED and if ADVANCED is better than right way to forward the ports? Do we have to port forward all of them or one only?

    Hi everyone,
I know some of you have been wondering when there would be a new R2 firmware available and why there has been a delay.
We have been working really hard to improve the WiFi performance and range on the R2 as well as fixing other bugs along the way. We have built several versions since launch trying to get it as good as we possibly can and we've drawn a line in the sand now for what we think is a pretty good firmware. This will be getting tested this week so ideally assuming that goes well we'll get that out publicly this week or at the very latest sometime next week.
TL:DR: New firmware publicly released by the latest, next week.

I found that allocations were not saving, because the Prioritize all devices option was checked.
I'm doing several tests to find the best results. but this R2 impressed me, because during the matches I feel so light that it seems that the game is in a private room playing alone, the hit detect is very perfect. it was the best investment I have made so far to improve my online experience

Is it showing Bandwidth Allocation for applications rather than devices? If so and you switch back to devices it will have saved. Also if you tried to allocate to both devices and applications it will only work for one, not the other.

Yes you can use Bandwidth Allocation for that. Click on the device on the left and you can type in the specific Mbps you want to give it. Save then close that panel. Do the same for the streaming PC. save, close panel. Then switch to upload and do the same thing.
