This goes beyond that — the password for this router is fresh, but what’s concerning is that my upload was showing a faster speed than what my ISP can even handle. That’s what got my. I can only upload at 23MB… but then I saw it was ‘router’ traffic… so I’m guessing it was internal traffic? - just commenting on it to see if it were a bug and/or a feature request to break down internal ‘router’ traffic so we can better examine it. 
 

Exitlag maintains good ping 
but i am saying for vpn service private vpn they do have physical servers in my location near game server 
but 
ping is not stable in private vpn 
But exitlag provides stable ping without any spikes 

I‘m absolutely annoyed…
How can someone release a extensive product that is not smoothy compatible with smart home devices or something else. 
i could see that there were already Problems with previous routers in 2018. why don‘t you tackle a Problem Like this? Everything is becoming more and more digital  and smart but the devices can‘t communicate with each other.

All this is why ExitLag integration would be a great and easier solution for most people.  
 
hybrid VPNs serve a big purpose to trick a game server into thinking youre in one place when youre not, but not using the actual tunnel for your game traffic.  That is the 90% use case of Hybrid VPNs.  For every other game in which that strategy wont work to get Bot Lobbies in Modern Warfare a simple automatic game traffic routing proxy is the best solution hands down.

Yes, I know about it. Today my friend was testing it out, because we live in Poland and he has terrible routing to Polish servers. He gets around 50ms ping on a server located in Warsaw, just because it's routed through Germany. Exitlag brings it down to 9ms, which is what I have on my ISP (we have fiber internet and its infrastructure is built by the same company, but they aren't ISPs, they rent their infrastructure to other companies, so it depends on the ISP how good the routing is). However, I've noticed that his ping on servers from Germany and Netherlands is slightly better while using exitlag, hitreg might be slightly better too.

I'm very "minimalistic" when it comes to background apps, basically I have only the game running when I play on my gaming PC, so that's why I would be heavily interested in it if it was available in dumaOS. That's the main reason I bought dumaOS router, because it offers services on the router's level and I don't have to clutter my gaming PC with some 3rd party apps.

WiFi 6 was designed to help in congested areas and did succeed to a degree but also failed as not every subset was added. Preamble puncturing was there but was never implemented for example where on WiFi 7 this will be more of a standard. 
Unifi do a plug in unit for IOS that is a WiFi analyser or you can use Apples own app called airport utility which is very basic. 

The router needs to show more info to help users understand their WiFi connection. I’m not sure if -70dBi is mid if that’s how it’s worked out. That would be more classed as poor. 

Sky is always 36 and 80Mhz. You could change to 40Mhz to gain a bit more distance and avoid some interference if you have issues or move to DFS if supported but really DFS has its drawbacks and pluses. 
The upper 5Ghz frequencies changed as OFCOM relaxed the reg here in the U.K. but it’s a mess as clients and most routers don’t meet that standard. Great idea but failed completely as not enough support.
Would be nice to know exactly what WiFi 6 subsets are up and running too. Not a single piece of info on this.

Im aware of the depreciation factors associated with Wi-Fi ,my point is that the app status bars for Wi-Fi are not correct , I’m sitting 12 feet away from the router with full strength on my phone but fair on app , so that’s not correct.also the aforementioned pc has no latency with fair Wi-Fi whilst gaming , the app is inconsistent with the Wi-Fi status 

It is a 2x2 and drivers to hardware make a difference as does any port issues or  whether they have amps fitted to them or not, which Asus  and Netgear tend to have which are seen on reviews from say Tim at Smallnetbuilder on his strip downs. Better hardware, official drivers.
The Asus you have is a 4x4 and 4x4 so good hardware. Just better hardware and drivers which is why you pay a fair bit more.

Yes ,I’m aware ,it is good but I’ve always been found of DumaOs since day one ,to be honest I’m going to give it a few days see how it goes ,wish they had chosen slightly higher end hardware for this or at least the option 

When you change to a higher gain the pattern changes and you end up with a more directional pattern. That might not be the answer to your issues as coverage might not be perfect. It could be a number of reasons why coverage is effected from transmit power to hardware. 
You might be better off with an AP that offers better coverage and more streams which will help with WiFi but I’m not sure how well Duma acts with an AP, not this version anyway. 
 
if you have a spare router that offers AP mode it’s worth a try. The R3 is a 2x2 on both so it’s a single 2x2 client on each channel. Most middle end APs offer 4x4 and you might be able to find the odd one with 8x8 but that might have to be something like the RAX120 ran in AP mode.

my hub does not have the free wifi, i do pick up a signal from down the street that used to be free bt but now its free ee.

Have you followed the steps above to see if you notice any improvements - any specifics on what "sucks" about it?

For home users with just the router, no switches or mesh points it’s not required. Yes it’s an old protocol but still in use but not as applicable as it was.

It’s only capable of 1Gb. Leave QoS off unless your network is congested with clients using up the available 1Gb. To use 3Gb you can use your old router if it can do the 3Gb and simple put the R3 into its DMZ and connect your gaming equipment to that. 
it’s up to you if the gaming equipment uses WiFi, if not disable R3 WiFi, disable QoS and simple use the geofilter and its options for best service.
 

Hi, I’m going to ask a strange request. Take the antennas off and see if it remains the same. You can use on a mobile device an app called WiFi Sweetspots which is free. 
First test it with app with antennas attached then remove them and test again.

As said above! The announcements have been made, the lame assumptions, are just assumptions in your mind...😉      

You should stop commenting with lame assumptions... Apart from the management of netduma and netgear. Nobody knows the ins and outs...
It was announced upon release of R3 that DumaOS 4.0 will not be ported to the XR series.
