Ok Roger that, I'll go ahead and start doing some trial and error. Thanks!

You can try a different vpn server such as a city based 1. Your problem is that netflix records the ip addresses of the vpn providers as they are all usually static block ip addresses, meaning that multiple vpn members share the same publicly visible p address.

Good idea, maybe some kind of pop-up menu for clarification when icons are stacked? I'll put it in the suggestions list.

Thank you for the information. I'm going to be collecting more information for my case, so hopefully we can get to the bottom of this.

Keep up the good work 💪

Hey sorry for the delay, it was a bank holiday yesterday so I wasn't here!
    --
On the first screenshot, I opened the game to ping the servers, and I chose a server in Brazil. I then pressed ALLOW, and closed the game.
Then I put my radius in the middle of the ocean and turned off ping assist so that everything would be blocked.
Now when I start the game, wait a minute, and then press ESC twice, allowing me to see the data centers, I can see that the only server that was pinged was the server in Brazil. Therefore ALLOW is working.
    --
On the second screenshot, I closed the game, I changed the Brazil server from ALLOW to DENY, and I expanded the radius to cover the entire map.
Now when I start the game, wait a minute, and then press ESC twice, allowing me to see the data centers, I can see that the only server that was blocked was the server in Brazil. Therefore, DENY is working

    Hope this makes sense!

We have tested on an R1 in the office and we found that the allow and deny functionality was working exactly as expected.
Could you please provide a screenshot or video recording of what happens on the netduma interface as you connect to apex legends?

Okay thanks for the information, I believe we're somewhat aware of an issue like this so I'll pass this on to the team and see if they have any suggestions.

When you ping servers you're connected to, you can see an ID for that server. Are you being connected to servers with the same ID of a server that's already been blocked? Or is it just that the servers in-game appear to be the same, but have a unique ID in DumaOS?

Great question the honest answer is, it varies so much I couldn't say. It's only limited by the size of the building they're using. The devs will rent out server space in a 'server farm', almost like renting office space. The amount of servers they choose to rent will depend on the demand or need, there could be 10, there could be 100

Sound advice, keep up the good work ya'll. My team in BO4 loves me , my Ekia is high, the win streaks we go on are long and is all thanks to the router 💪

Stuff like this is quite common. The servers are always fluctuating, always being configured by the devs. Maybe they took 'em down for maintenance, who knows? In your screenshot the host is still on the East coast (since it's the largest icon) which I guess isn't too bad. Could be worth using Deny to block some of these hosts until the dedicated servers are back.

No theres no difference thats why it's quite odd. Let us know what you find with spectating mode, it does sound like a game issue.
Could you provide a Geo-Filter screenshot showing what you mean please?

    Hey all,
wondering if anyone’s had this issue.....playing WW2 & I can find Team Deathmatch lobbies/games instantly but when I switch over to Domination, no games/lobbies to be found? This just recently started happening within the last few days. When I was finding games in Dom mode, it was the same server that I was connecting to playing TDM, so what’s the dealio? I even expanded my Geo-Filter from 700miles to 1,400miles & turned Strict Mode off. I did notice a couple times that it would “try” to connect because like one or two others would pop in the lobby but not enough to start game. Any ideas? Cloud flush or router reboot maybe?

    Thanks!

Attackerman reacted to Sci0n in Host, Client tick, Send, and Receive rate
This is due to high ping players, say your on BFV, and there is 4 high ping players. The server (lag comp) will adjust to accommodate them. At times this will make you suffer as having a good ping means the games server wont have to adjust for you.
if the server tick rate is 64 for example, if Player A shoots 15ms faster than player B, but they both do so within the same 15.6ms tick, they will both die.

If lag compensation is over tuned, it will result in "I shot behind the target and still hit him"
If it is undertuned, it results in "I need to lead the target to hit them".

What this all means Generally, a higher tick-rate server will yield a smoother, more accurate interaction between players, but it is important to consider other factors here. If we compare a tick rate of 60, with a tick rate of 20, the largest delay due to the difference in tick rate that you could possibly perceive is 35ms. The average would be 17.5ms. For most people this isn't perceivable, but experienced gamers who have played on servers of different tick rates, can usually tell the difference between a 10 or 20 tick server and a 64 tick one. Keep in mind that a higher tickrate server will not change how lag compensation behaves, so you will still experience times where you ran around the corner and died. 64 Tick servers will not fix that. If you are concerned about the performance of the game, there are a few things you should rule out first, that can make a significant difference:

Your internet connection. The lower the latency the better. This is why its important to play on the servers on which you have the lowest latency. Also any congestion on your home internet connection can cause delays. Lag compensation helps with the "what you are shooting" part, but if you have poor latency, you are much more likely to experience the "I ran behind a corner and still got shot" scenario or the "I shot first and still died" scenario.

If your game has a poor frame-rate (anything lower than or close to your monitor/tv refresh rate), this will increase the delay perceived, often by more than the difference tick rate makes.

In short, most console games server are bad, COD is a prime example of this, how many times have you shot at a player and been kiiled, then watched the kill cam only to see it show on the other players screen you did even fire a shot or if you did it was nowhere near how much you actualy shot him?

If this happens to you and the kill cam shows such a delay in what you did to what other player see's, then leave that server as it wont change as it has high lag comp mostly due to high ping players.

Attackerman reacted to Netduma Jack in still not getting smooth games on ps4
Guys it's the lag compensation in the game - if you're having hit detection issues, it's without doubt the game at fault. No game is perfect. I hear people saying Battlefield V has great hit detection compared to CoD for instance.
If you have a great ISP line, great equipment and a Geo-Filter for a great server / game ping, then your character movements etc shouldn't be lagging. That's your objective, and you've achieved it by the sounds of it. Ultimately if you're firing shots and they're not registering at this point, it's probably because the opposing player has a ping that's massively different to you and the game itself can't handle it. The game is at fault for letting such players join the server in the first place, and for not compensating properly for it.
