Get rid of the first connection name and if that doesn't work also try without PPPoE. If it successfully bridges then you can remove both static IPs yes.

Okay great, keep us posted. No it should be okay as it was a hardware limitation on the R1. It might be decreased but we'll have to see if the setup works first.

Great thanks that's really helpful. So select bridge WAN then on binding options untick SSID1 and tick LAN1 i.e. where the XR500 is connected. Then you should be able to apply without entering multicast VLAN ID, see if that works. If not on the same page disable Enable VLAN.

I can't find much but found a few potential instructions, could you screenshot the WAN configuration page/bridge mode page please so I can see if it might be applicable?

No that wouldn't affect it. Okay I think it would be best to see if you could put the ISP router in modem or bridge mode and then that should resolve the double NAT once and for all.

You shouldn't need that, what is the model of your ISP hub? I'll look into it.

Okay that all looks fine, could you try to have a look on a PC at both pages again please and see if it's applied successfully? It might be that doing it on a phone it isn't applying for some reason. Even if it's the same apply again anyway on both on the PC and see if it stays that way.

No that's fine, they're essentially separate in this case. The WAN IP shouldn't be changing if you've properly set the static IP. Could you provide a screenshot of XR500 static settings and the ISP router static settings for XR500 please?

You shouldn't have to but you would definitely need to reboot the console. Worth just rebooting everything, modem and router first then console.

That should have done it, make sure it's applied then on the XR500 change Internet Setup to use a static IP as well then they both have that information and should be fine. Probably why the double NAT came back.

Great! You've only selected the console so it wouldn't affect the PC. You would have to add another rule for the PC to prioritize games you play on PC. Selecting console service could prioritize other things on your PC if you were to select it but it varies depending on what you do, you could try this if you can't add a normal/port manual rule.
You don't need to select those options it's fine as is at the moment.
Likely the router was rebooted which caused the IP to change. On the ISP router you could set the XR500 to have a static IP (the same one it has at the moment) and then it won't change in future.

Okay so could you instead add the console service for the xbox and see if that works please.
You won't lose speed via cable, even if you did for some reason gaming doesn't require much bandwidth so you'd still have plenty.
Is your ISP router in modem mode or does it have the XR500 in its DMZ? If not enable one of those options and it should resolve NAT.

What was your solution the last time this happened? It is most likely that you've port forwarded incorrectly or forwarded ports to a different device or something like this. What settings have you changed before it stopped working?

Could you do a pingplotter test to that server so that we can see where the delay is occuring?
    Here's a guide:

Well that all looks pretty good, which is annoying because now I can't explain the packet loss.

I don't think 1% is significant enough to cause you any issues, it is likely a server issue such as when it is under heavy load.

You need to check first to see if your connection is having these issues, follow this guide with the modem: http://support.netduma.com/en/support/solutions/articles/16000074717-diagnose-modem-internet-service-provider-issues then after that if there are no spikes/packet loss then do it with the router and saturate the connection while testing different percentages and find what works best for you.

What firmware are you using? Have you tried this firmware for dropouts? It looks like you're experiencing dropouts.

The hotfix firmware is an alternate version of the current firmware that fixes disconnection issues.

Oh right, on one of the graphs it looked like you were dropping out but I guess it was just excessive packet loss.
Usually i'd recommend lowering the sliders if packet loss is occuring when your connection is busy.

Well really what you want to do is start pingplotter, flood your connection (HD videos, downloads, so on) and then take the sliders down about 10% at a time until your ping looks stable in pingplotter.

40/40 looks like the best out of that selection. I would also try 70/70, 80/80 etc. When you find a good one go up by 10 if it's bad then go down/up 5 between the good and bad result to really narrow it down.

-I did these tests with 40/40 slider( I think this is the best slider for me) while downloading a game and watching several streams at 1080p60fps.
-About traffic not prioritized, the traffic table looks like that while doing the pingplotter.
-I also made this tests with 40/40 no devices connected on dslreports.

With the bufferbloat sliders in the right place, the ping spikes shouldn't be happening. Maybe some traffic is being incorrectly prioritized?

Sounds like you've got it setup optimally as that's a good ping, however I wouldn't use the games console service for the PC as it could be prioritizing other things and could potentially cause that issue. Recommend you use the advanced section to add the ports that the game uses - leave the source ports as they are, just change the destination ports. May just be the servers, I assume you're selecting the correct region from the game menu?
