No sorry it has not. We will investigate soon.
Ok I think I understand what you mean. You'd like to take multiple parameters describing a host and let the user use a heuristic to decide if the host is allowed or not. Then allow different heuristics for different games. You're already kinda of doing this with the combination of ping-assist and Geo-filtering.  Problem with other metrics like traceroute (hop-count) is they are very flaky as not all core routers respond to them also it is a very slow operation so if we were to do it it'd need to be running the background all the time.

See my prior response to Zennon about player-filtering. In regard to kicking a player out, in a server based game you can't do that you can only kick yourself out by blocking the connection. Hope that helps.

See my prior response to Zennon please.
We don't need any right now but please submit your interest by emailing [email protected] and the team will get back to you in due course
Sorry mate I'm not sure what you mean? Are you asking for DMZ on the router, if so that will be in the next DumaOS release Thanks for the kind words!
Netgear is a public company so we can't comment on anything about them as it is literally illegal as it could impact share price. So all my comments in this thread are regarding DumaOS.
Thanks for the suggestions on security. We're aware that is a big area for customers and we do want to bring something offerings to you at some point. But we're not currently developing that. On IPv6 you've already contacted us about this via email, we will add this in due course but our current goal is to bring new features. Remember IPv6 routing does work just some of the features don't. But rest assured it is coming soon.
The details of QoS is different on different platforms (we use fq-codel, codel and our own algo for bufferbloat). Kudos to David Taht for codel implementation btw. But remember that is only a 1/3 of our current QoS solution  Watch this space....
As mentioned earlier themes will be coming soon to DumaOS. They are actually already on milestone 1.3 but are buggy so we pulled the plug on them, they should be available soon.
Also one thing to clarify, any LAN traffic should only need wireless QoS as it does not actually reach the routers CPU when using the switch.

VLAN should be in next DumaOS release

    Yes that is being implemented.
Right so temporary ban being the key. Gotcha thanks for the feedback.
Can't comment on NG. And for the foresseable future we will push updates via firmware as simplify matters. But some day it would be cool to not do that....

Yea before the issue @xr450owner identified with his router , I thought the problem may have been isolated to the R1. This is the first wifi calling issue I have seen that wasn't related to DumaOS on the R1.  I figured it could be related because of the Netduma's participation in it.  A couple of R1 owners tried, and it didn't work for them.

I cannot use wifi calling on my Samsung Galaxy S9. I really dont use it but I went ahead and tested it.
I took my phone to another wifi network and I could connect so I can confirm that for some reason it does not work behind my R1 Duma OS router. I'm running the latest firmware.
I also forgot to mention that I am not using the wifi on the router itself. I am using the Linksys Velop configured in bridge mode (no firewall so it's just an WAP).

Thanks BD. My buddy is running wifi calling on the XR-500 without issue too. Every little bit of info helps!

    @pollutionblues
Could you please run a check on your DumaOS enhanced R1 for wifi calling?

Nope, at least not right now.  There hasn't been a second active console since the summer (while on the old firmware).

I'll test again tonight.  I'll make sure to deactivate Xbox and game-related Port Forwarding, and ensure UPnP is enabled, ensure Geo Filter is off, reboot my Internet modem, reboot the R1 router, reboot my console, then check console NAT to ensure 'Open', launch game, check in-game NAT, report into here, enable Geo Filter and hope that I've seen and can maintain an 'Open' in-game NAT.  I'll get back to you guys tonight to confirm what the in-game NAT reported before I enable the Geo Filter.

That should cover the test, unless you want to add any intermediary steps?

make sure your cables are all securely plugged into the ports on both ends of the cable. tug on them a tad after you insert them to make sure they're in there right.  if that doesn't work try plugging your cable in a different port. Lastly, swap out the cable for a new one.

@Bozo mislocated servers are common.  You definitely keyed in on the primary indicator that the server was not showing up in the correct location by detailing the ping to the server of 11ms.  If you send Fraser the server ID info, they will be able to get it to show in the correct location.

    @Jakosaur
When you placed your modem back into router mode, it could have placed your phone on a different subnet than what the R1 delivers.  Try restarting your phone and delete your current wifi connection. Then rejoin your wifi network, enable wifi calling
Im pretty sure this is a longshot, but you never know

You don't need to add it, as long as DumaOS Classified Games is enabled it will be prioritized. Only games as far as I am aware, anything else you would need to add yourself.

major masingil got a reaction from Netduma Admin in How are you finding DumaOS on the R1?
    Hello Netduma team,
I have noticed a problem with trying to re-arrange the windows on the R-Apps.  I first noticed it when I was trying to re-arrange the windows on the QoS tab to have Bandwidth Allocation on the bottom, Anti-Bufferbloat Sliders on Top, and the  Traffic Prioritization  and Traffic Prioritization Information in the middle. The issue is I could re-arrange the Apps on that screen, and the Pin and Help buttons stop working. I have been able to recreate this issue at will. I'm using Chrome and Windows 10.  Here's what I am doing:

I try to grab an R-App window using Left Click on my mouse and drag the window to the area I want to move it  The app window will not display the 4 directional arrows which indicate the ability to move the window when I try to grab it instead it "Selects" (highlights) whatever is in the window I am trying to grab I attempted this with the Pins in both states...filled in white and just the outline of the pin Then I click Left Mouse again to clear the selection.  This is the step that causes the Pin and Help buttons to stop functioning after this point, I cannot change the state of the pins or access the help feature I go to a different R-App on the left hand side of the screen, such as Network Monitor or Device Manager and load that screen  Then click back on the app which stopped working, and I can select the Pin and Help buttons again until I try to re-arrange the windows This same situation happened on Network Monitor and System Information tabs I attached a snip of the "Selection" that happens when I try to move the windows. you can see the text highlighted in blue. After I try to move that window, and click left mouse again the buttons stop working until I reload another R-App.  I'm pretty sure I made myself clear enough, but wanted to illustrate what I was doing.
Is it not possible to re-arrange the windows on those tabs in the first place? If it's not, I would still think that the pins and help buttons would work.  Please let me know if you would like any more information

If you want simple overview of your network I'd suggest just letting DumaOS do DHCP for you. The device-manager is far more capable than the original r1 software. You can see snapshot in diagram or table mode. And you can sort the columns in the table. When you upgrade, try it out I'm confident it will satisfy your criteria

major masingil reacted to Netduma Luke in Announcement: DumaOS on Netduma R1 in Final Beta Testing
We have some good news to share: DumaOS for the Netduma R1 is now in the final stages of beta testing!
As many of you know, this has taken so much longer than we anticipated, but our developers have now resolved all the major issues. This means that DumaOS for the R1 is stable and crucially, backwards compatible, so you can go back to the original R1 firmware if you prefer. A big thank you to all the beta testers who worked tirelessly with us to get to this point.
We are tidying up some last loose ends to make it ready for full release. We will let you know it is ready to download across all our media platforms. Be sure to sign up to the DumaOS mailing list so you are the first to know when it's out.
    Stay tuned!

Sucks to be you I guess.  You're too advanced for me.  I guess you'll have to transform your laptop into Voltron or whatever so you can get the information you need...  shouldn't be to tough for a leet like you.  I never saw any advertising on the R1 that indicated it had the capabilities you wished it had.
