If you want to achieve this, I'd recommend Ping Assist at 0 and then move your 'home' location on the Geo-Filter to a server region that gives you a ping amount you prefer. For example, I know some UK players prefer the French servers instead of UK, so they use the Geo-Filter to force French servers.
Hope that makes sense.

I have my XR500 as the main router, I have all wifi on it disabled. I thien have a managed switch with another router in AP mode for the wifi which I have the switch throttle down to 30mbps as i dont give a monkies about others in my house so long as they get acces This way I minimise the load my main router has to do. It works for me

I already responded to a topic just like you published in another section of the forum, please do not duplicate the issues because it will not be more difficult to help you.
I return to answer here because the other thread is anyway published in the section that is not and surely delete a moderator to be duplicated.
As I said: Have you ever updated your R1 to the DumaOS version?
If not, I advise you to update and try to see how it goes and if your experience improves.
You can obtain the update at the following link:

I don't know the make and model of his managed switch but it should be visible on device manager and lan settings as we know. I have a nighthawk S8000 switch and as it is managed it has an ip address. If he has a faulty switch then that can also screw him up. He will have to do a process of elimination and I think removing the switch is a good place to start.
Netduma Admin reacted to georgmi in Requests for "Do not VPN these services" options
I'm running an OpenVPN VM through DigitalOcean for most of my Internet usage, but many of my media streaming services block me because the DigitalOcean data center is known for this functionality.
I would love it if I could add services to "Do not VPN these services" by IP address (or IP range).
Alternately, if y'all could add media streaming services (Hulu and Netflix for sure, don't know yet whether Prime Video also blocks the data center) to the existing "Basic" list, that would be even easier.

Please follow this great advice. Also, when you click on a device, even an unnamed one, you can rename it and give a device type. I recommend you do this. You should be able to see the IP address of the device on the Device manager, which will help you to then figure out which one it is by looking on the device itself e.g. in the PS4 network settings section

I was just about to make a post about the Geofilter,
So here goes.....i have done the same as u, however in my case my friends can join on me.......what you can do is add your friends to your whitelist aka allowed list.
Start by opening up the Geo radius to include where they are based, then without being in a game, have them join you in say a chat party, they will then appear on yr Geo map.
Remove auto ping on host, then ping each player individually and add them to the allowed list and name them accordingly.
Netduma Admin reacted to titofuenla in PS4 Connection Issue, Please Help
1- if since you have blocked these devices, you do not have access to the internet on your PS4, it is because one of the devices that blocked was your PS4. Try to unlock a device first and try to see if it is solved, if not, try the second device that blocks.
2- Sometimes the Internet providers update their routers without the clients finding out, many times when they update they lose the saved configurations, check the router configuration of their provider and verify how it is.

So what youre saying is the router boots up, and you can eventually get to prompting the use of user and password? Are you using the 192.168.88.1? Ive had mine disconnect many times and I have never had issues with not getting it to work afterwords. What user and password are you using to access it? default or custom? There are several passwords that it could be, admin/password, the default password when you login to the router(the one you use when you're first logging in), or a custom one you may have set, there is one that mikrotik has but I doubt that would be the case. Have you tried clearing out cookies etc? then trying to redo the process. Perhaps something else you could check is command prompt to see how youre being connected to the device as well. You could go to go to the search option in windows and type CMD also known as command prompt, and then type ipconfig/all. If theres nothing unusual there then perhaps after that you could just to an ipconfig/renew, and that would refresh any connections and adapters. Hopefully you get it figured out though. Sadly the reset button is picky and I have found over time it just stops responding to pressing it. I only ever used it in the beginning when owning the router and since then when ive tried it, it doesnt work.
