Netduma Admin got a reaction from Alerstel in Apex Legends Geo-Filter weird behavior
The problem here is you are not blocking the connections outside of your radius when you boot up the game. You can tell this because all the servers have dotted rings around them.
The fix should be simple: set Ping Assist to 0 and make sure Strict Mode is enabled. Then reboot the game.
This should then fix your problem. We double checked yesterday and forced the Brazil server at bootup and we then were able to guarantee we only played on the Brazil server. If the game ever gave us a different server, the Geo-Filter would block it, so it was working great.
Let us know how you get on after making these changes.

Netduma Admin got a reaction from bernhard in WiFi getting worse? Does the new OS change anything?
    Thanks for the nice words
How long has this been happening? It sounds like it might be ageing hardware unfortunately. Is it just the WiFI dropping out? Easiest way to tell this is if the WiFi drops, can you still get on the Internet via a wired connection?
It might be worth changing the WiFi channel to see if there's any improvement.

Could be something like this above where you easy can enable it ans choose when and what time to reboot.

Hi Frostie - I would highly recommend you  go ahead and upgrade. Most of the entire install base are on it now, so it's not really in 'beta' now. We'll probably remove that tag when we launch the next DumaOS milestone.
Your firmware version is fine to upgrade from.
Head over here and sign up - you'll then get an email with full instructions on how to upgrade: https://netduma.com/r1-dumaos/
Finally, after installing the new firmware, I'd recommend using these optimal settings guides for the features you use:

Good news, NETGEAR are happy for us to publicly share the link to a hot fix firmware which should address the very small % of users who are experiencing drop outs. Here it is:
    https://ntgr-my.sharepoint.com/:u:/g/personal/tichang_netgear_com/Efc2T54tBPREtZwrMtj7PF8BGssdUVOk7aCG_PBzlFyMzQ?e=OAwQnP
Keep in mind this is the exact same as the current release (2.3.2.40), just with a small hotfix which may fix drop outs. There's no real need to install this firmware if you are not experiencing any drop outs.
    Upgrade Instructions:
Using the Download Link below, download the new firmware to a convenient place such as your desktop. Run your web browser and open http://www.routerlogin.net. Click Settings => Administration => Firmware Upgrade page. Click Browser button and locate the firmware image file. Click Upload button. Wait for upgrade progress to complete.

Will PM it to you - it just contains a hotfix so it's the same as .40, but with an adjustment that might stop those small % of people having dropouts.
    OK, will send it now

Can confirm after having done some tcpdumping and compared to the actual communication with the game server, that the other udp traffic is negligible as far as potential congestion goes.  That said, BO4 actually deserves credit in this area because it allows disabling lobby chat in favour of party, so the level of traffic generated is far less than past games like ww2.

with having 3 ps4's on the go you have no choice but to rely solely on UPnP. You could also put 1 of the ps4's into the DMZ to see if that works better for you.

Are you using ipv6? The R1 does not support ipv6 properly that i'm aware of unless that's changed, it looks from your screenshots that ipv6 is active, @Netduma Fraser do you agree?
