Great idea guys, is it possible to have a ping assist max and minimum range so it will only connect between the range? that way you could search for between 30-35ms if you find servers in that range play better say.
Doing this would rule out potential misallocated servers when using the the geo circle to get a further afield server.

Hi Duma Army, and welcome to the first Developer Q&A thread!
This your chance to ask the team about the current  development and exciting future of DumaOS. Our developers will answer you directly as soon as they can (though this won't be live).
Before we begin, lets get the caveats out of the way:
    - Keep it on topic: If you have technical issues with your router this isn't the place to get support. We'll be redirecting and deleting irrelevant posts to keep this thread on topic.
    - Keep it civil: Trolling, name-calling or general rudeness will not be tolerated on this thread. Please choose your words carefully and adhere to the forum rules to avoid suspension.
    - Keep it brief: Our developers are hard at work and their time is precious. They will try to answer every question they can, but they might not be able to answer every one - especially if your question is two pages long! Spam will not be tolerated.
DumaOS development is driven by your feedback, so we're super excited to hear from you all. If this goes well we may host more Q&A sessions in the future. Fire away with any questions you have and a developer will answer as soon as possible!

Your router IP is now 192.168.88.1
Type that into chrome and press enter.
You might have to clear chrome's cache.

Blops4 has a sync issue where one team all go really positive and the other goes all negative in most matches, it is very rare to have a balanced game,
So I would not judge your connection on cod.
All cods have a sync issue but this one takes the top prize, when you are ahead it feels like your playing recruit bots then the next game it feels like your playing MLG sweat pros, then when you loose it puts you ahead of sync again.
The key is If your on the winning team back out after it ends as the sync will do you next game.

I think i turns out there was downloads going on while my ps4 was in rest mode I believe. Might of been the reason of all the spikes. And i have my speeds in from a test with the modem only connected and its set to always.

While the case is open you should also clean off and reapply some thermal paste to the CPU. ☺️

If it becomes popular Netduma should look into their protocol from game packets so DumaOS can prioritise them over the streams packets.
It may introduce frame drops / stutters though.

Yeh I think the WiFi controller might break the whole concept for a lot of gamers. I reckon Stadia will be huge in Asia since there's less accessibility to high-end performance PC's / consoles. Getting rid of that performance barrier is pretty incredible, and the ability to play top-notch games on phones could also be cool.
Still, there ain't going to be any pro / hardcore players on Stadia unless they shell out some cash, lol.

Even if they have implemented game input traffic prioritisation from game stream traffic (which I am doubtful) WiFi is half duplex 😆

My line started to play up, I had packet loss, I changed my VDSL face plate and it is fixed. Filters need changing regularly and so do filtered face plates.
RJ11 cables from the faceplate to the modem/router can start to fail also.
To save on Sky not having a clue and sending an engineer this is something to think about.

Sky uses MER authentication, the router will come set up with your user name and password already.
It is just a case of turning on the sky router connecting the two via Ethernet rebooting the XR 500, putting your XR500 WAN IP into the Sky routers DMZ, then enter your new bandwidth into the congestion control and you are good to go.

Hi again, I mentioned to you in your thread on ping plotter that it is nothing to worry about, here it is from the horses mouth https://www.pingman.com/kb/article/one-poorly-responding-router-5.html

Just to add, are you using a two router set up? have you turned off the first routers WiFi?
What is the GUI like if you connect directly with a device using Ethernet?

No limit if you are the sole user. Headroom needed to stop local congestion if not, 30% or more.
