Thanks, Fraser. Will give this a try when I can.
Just for reference, tried without crossplay and had the same issue. Will report back after testing.

    Try this:
Hard turn off the console Remove device from the Geo-Filter Flush the cloud (wait until a minute after the too long message then refresh - if you see it) Add device back Setup the Geo-Filter how you want Turn on console and game

    Same here.
    It's not a 'mis-located' server issue, it's a 'can't-see-the-other-player-icons' issue.
I play GTA V and it shows where maybe 95% of the player locations are, but in MW probably the same amount of player icons are missing.

I'm using the geofilter in both filtering and spectator but never seen the full lobby of players.
I typically see maybe a server, one player and that's about it.
I have crossplay enabled so I don't know if that is the issue but it sucks not knowing where I'm connecting to.
For example, I'm literally playing a 12-man Headquarters and this is my map. Missing 90% of the lobby and some dude is reportedly rocking out in Indonesia (he isn't).

So if I haven't updated my cloud yet, does that mean the geo-filter just isn't working as intended?

Flushed Cloud - same problem. See literally no players.

We'll have a cloud update out soon that should improve compatibility with Modern Warfare.

Been using the Geo-filter for Black Ops 4 and feel like it would be beneficial to have a legend so that new users can easily understand what all the icons mean.

Just something small but informative in the bottom left corner - maybe toggle on/off to clean up the UI for anyone who knows what everything already is.

I absolutely agree - we designed the icon suite to be as intuitive as possible, but the Geo-Filter icons especially require a legend. I believe this feature should be on the way soon since it's not a massive change. Thanks for letting us know this is something you'd like to see!

Generally would always recommend enabling UPNP because it may cause issue with other devices e.g. WiFi calling would probably be blocked.
But, if everything is working and you're happy, then the old mantra 'if it ain't broke' probably applies...

That's not an issue. Every device on your network has the same external IP. It's the ports and LAN IPs that tell the packets where to go once they hit your connection

Great to hear that resolved the issue!
NAT Filtering: This option determines how the router deals with inbound traffic. The Secured option provides a secured firewall to protect the PCs on LAN from attacks from the Internet, but it may cause some Internet games, point-to-point applications, or multimedia applications not to work. The Open option, on the other hand, provides a much less secured firewall, while it allows almost all Internet applications to work.

Forwarded some ports and have the IP's reserved for the two consoles, hopefully this resolves it.

It's weird, simply reserving the IP's used to fix this problem without any hassle.

Sure - we'll try to remember to post in here. We'll also start a new topic in this subforum too.

No ETA but I shouldn't think it will be too far away now.

Jack is correct - it's left over wording we forgot to update after adjusting how the feature is designed

We actually spotted this a couple of weeks ago so should be corrected in one of the next versions.

Update: MoCA Adapter arrived and it works flawlessly! No need to change IPs and my nasty Verizon FiOs G1100 router can now be completely removed from my setup. Internet and TV working perfectly!

Okay great. I'm looking up other options so hopefully this can be avoided altogether. I've found a fairly affordable MoCA adapter which will hopefully completely resolve my issue.

It’s designed more for parental control etc. So that’s one reason we’re looking into access control ideas.

    Thanks for the feedback

Yup it's working perfectly, IP updated once the devices came online. They do seem to disappear at times when the device(s) are offline but from what I can tell it's working fine and allowed me to managed my LAN setups hassle free.
