You're welcome! 3.0 has already been made more or less so would probably be looking at 3.1 for that

No it's not possible without disabling share excess currently - doing this will also restrict all other devices to their allocations as well. We can do that and it has been requested before so will likely make it in down the line.

I agree with Fraser, from software perspective the QoS works great but the CPU works more and this means the temperature grows, it is important to keep the R2 fresher if you want to have the QoS enabled.

It all sounds optimized honestly, the variation on Ping Under Load is a few ms, it would be imperceptible. It's almost certainly due to the distance to the server, you could perhaps try the next closest server, some people say that get a good experience on higher ping servers so worth a try

If you re sync the cloud on Ping Heatmap it should report much better now

I’ll give this a test as I’ve always had the gaming router in, on occasion when I have gone back to the hub only the issue isn’t there, but i will test it later on today

The Geo-Filter will show active connections regardless, the cloud database just determines whether those connections are:
Located correctly Whitelisted Classed as Peer or Dedicated So even if it was hugely outdated you can definitely still use Ping Assist to get the lowest ping servers.

It does feel warm on the bottom but not a concerning temp. I will continue to monitor that. I've got one laptop on 5g and one on 2.4 with the chrome extension Internet Connection Monitor to see any differences.

Keep us posted on that, also another user found there seems to be a correlation with how hot the router gets and disconnections, not sure where you're located but it's getting very hot in the UK now. Try to ensure it's not on a surface where it could overheat and make sure it has plenty of air flow. If you get a disconnection see how hot it is

We don't currently have this available and I don't have a date but yes it is in development - it is called Data History, here is a small preview:

Are ALL devices connected to the XR? Are you able to put the gateway in modem/bridge mode?

You should be able to get that minimal level of bufferbloat if you really dial in your settings. Don't use Benchmark for that as we're still improving it. If you saturate your connection with downloads etc and experiment with percentages to see what lowers it the most you should be able to get it http://support.netduma.com/en/support/solutions/articles/16000074717-how-to-test-your-internet-ping

I switched my current setup. It is now Modem > ASUS > R1 (as an access point) > PC. All other devices are connected wirelessly on the ASUS 2Ghz/5Ghz. I'll let you know how this goes.

Interesting, is this over ethernet? What is the modem the XR is connected to?

DNS can slightly speed up website loading times but it is unlikely to have an affect on gaming. As the R2 is in bridge mode if you override the DNS on the R2 then all devices connected will use that DNS, no need to input it on each device
