The AWS Bahrain server was fully active and functional in MW beta, I always connected to it, the server performance was good, nice 60Hz tick rate, stable ping, smooth gameplay. In BO4 it only pops up in Geo Filter.
In all likelihood the AWS server would be used at MW launch.

If there is a server there it may have been undergoing tests or something. There is nothing that Netduma or anyone can do if they have disabled access to that server again.

Unfortunately BD is right, though that's really promising that AWS is available in that region now. Hopefully they'll make it available permanently.

100% I tried the PureVpn service and it did add more latency, the DumaOs software provides the best latency for players in the middle east as is than your regular router, thanks for the responses guys, have a good one.

Would agree with Big Dog above. A VPN will always add latency. If you use one then you can reduce the additional latency by using the closest server to your location but it would still add and depending on your use case that may be pointless if you need to use a foreign server

sorry to be the barer of bad news but if you are trying to lower your ping by going through a VPN then it is not going to happen. A vpn, encrypts data and therefore will add extra ping (lag) to your ping.  You cannot lower your ping unless either:
    you change isp's
you can have the quality of your line improved by an engineer (if you have a line fault).

Otherwise there's nothing you can do. As you live in the middle east I can confidently assume that your internet infrastructure is not going to be of high quality (without sounding disrespectful). Sorry but there's no way to improve your ping.

Can you guys please put up a guide on how to use  Hybrid VPN on the routers for non tech savvy members. If we go with other VPN services other than HMA and PureVPN,what should we do in detail, step by step and pin it for members so that the question doesn't get repeated.
Thank you guys for your amazing services, keep up the great work.

Hi - super glad that Fraser helped you out
This to me sounds like a mis-located server. That Singapore server is probably actually your missing Middle East server, it's just showing up in a different location. There's some maintenance going on with the cloud at the moment which is why the servers look a bit skew-whiff on the map!
For the time being Ping Assist might be a good option for you - set Ping Assist to 100ms and see if there's any other decent servers you can find out there. I hope this helps

Fraser you Beauty!!, so my Nat Types Open Again and I found what appears to be a Peer in Saudi which is actually a Dedicated Server.
I did this for My Nat ( Strict/Moderate to Open ) [Xbox]
    1) Before I booted my Xbox Up,I set my Geo Filter to Spectator Mode.
    2) Checked UPnP and my port for 3075 and it was ACTIVE.
    3) Booted Xbox Up, went to settings and tested the Multiplayer Connection, once done, I pressed LT + RT + LB + RB at the same time and got the detailed statistic for my multiplayer test.
    4) Started up Black Ops 4 checked my Network and BOOOM!! its Open and is connected to the Saudi Server, Hooorah!!
    5) The last step, I went back to my DumaOs and put it back to Filtering Mode and set my Radius, it stayed Open for 6 hours even when I closed the game and reopened it
I hope this helps, have a Good One NetFam.
    Thanks @Fraser.

by putting your XR500 in your modem's DMZ you are leaving yourself open to attack. Unless you have some firewall protection in your modem ?

....least that's what i think your saying you have setup...?

Your best just letting your modem be just that, a modem. And let the XR500 do everything else....

i used port triggering only to guarantee an open Nat (not to be confused with port forwarding)

triggering only opens the specified ports as and when needed.

i played around with my client VPN IPVANISH (on the pc) last night and had some interesting results....

VPN worked best on UDP port 443 !!

I live in Northern Ireland (UK). I set my VPN to connect to Germany (Frankfurt) (also France)  and my XR500 Geo radius to circle only the UK, and had some really good games.

will experiment with this further over the next few nights.....

Sooner we get "ping assist" the better !!

by moving your Geo location around, i didnt mean move it to the UK or Europe.... i meant move it around your own home location until you are getting pings of 30-40ms from servers.

Moving your Geo from the Middle East to Europe may yield very poor ping rates.....

Once you move your geofilter location make sure you fully shutdown and reboot your console before searching for a game. Also, it can take some time to find a game in a different location so be patient.
