Probably is a right settings but.. One thing is stabilize your router , another is said that all COD servers works at 120 hz.
It s not my opinion, it s a real fact that all call of duty servers works at 60 hz..
The only one that works at 120 is CSGO.
It s an reading error from xr500 and R1 , but in that way you could stabilize your connection.

As Bert said you can t upgrade to 120 hz if a servers work on a 60!
i always said that is an error but this evening i ll try this way!

    LOL.

    Actually it's total BS.

You cannot magically increase server tickrate from 60Hz to 120Hz. So whatever you are seeing in DumaOS is a measuring error. Battlenonsense has tested with wireshark, not DumaOS.

Cables. Maximum bandwidth quoted for a cat 8 cable is 2000 Mhz. That is what the cable can sustain at peak performance. But if you hook it up to a 1GBps port the port will always be limited to 125 Mhz. So you can have a cable that is able to sustain 2000 MHz but it won't do anything for you as long as it's a 1GBps port, since maximum transmission frequency is only 125 MHz. The cable is a dumb piece of copper that can't decide data frequency on it's own.

For higher transferspeeds, not only do the networking ports increase their operating frequency, but also they use a completely different transfer protocol. (1GBps = 125 MHz, 10Gbps = 800 MHz, so if you punch that in a calculator, (800 / 125)*1000 =  6,4Gbps, so something doesn't add up there. 10 GBPs uses more bits per amplitude than 1Gbps, but this is not applied until you stick the cable in a 10Gbps port.

In short, using Cat.8 cables in a 1 Gbps system will do absolutely nothing for you.

Or to use some analogy. My car has a top speed of 250 km/u. I can drive on a 4 lane highway with 250 km/u. But if there is no other car on the road it won't get me there faster than a 2 lane highway.

In theory you can see reduced latency by scaling up the network. Ie on a 10Mbps system, sending a ethernet frame (max 1522 bytes) takes about 0.1ms, on 1Gbps system it takes 0.001ms. I'm sure you realize how insignificant these numbers are.

No you can't control the tickrate from DumaOS, it's just a readout of what the server is sending.

Any cable higher than CAT5e on a gigabit port will only give you better shielding not a higher frequency, you are limited by the ports frequency. A HDMI 2.1 cable will do nothing on a 1.4 or a 2.0 port ,again the ports limitations. Both cables are backwards compatible.

Dude first off I don't hide behind anything. I'm a grown man 43 to be exact. I can give you my address if you honestly think I'm some sort of fkn school age pussy AH AH AH (get out of here with that bs) Second of all I'm not some naive fool thats going to spend $50 for cat 8 when it's literally not going to improve my gaming one bit and I'm not going to spend whatever the f you spent on your super 2.1 hdmi fkn cable. I don't make assumptions I just call them as I see them! I can't even believe I wasted 5 mins of my time to reply to your nonsense.

I would probably disable ping assist and find the servers you have the best gameplay on on put your radius around it or them. As for your qos settings you'll have to go on pingplotter and start at 70/70 and work from there up or down. I live in the midwest and (MN) and I have mine at 52down/60 up. Everyone is different depending on your speeds and where you live etc. You could also try to open up all the ports to the game as well. Some stuff works for some ppl and some don't. There is no magic to any of it cause it is cod and your only as good as your connections to the servers. Good luck!

Dude your just giving monoprice your money cause there ain't no difference in cables cat 5 and up and hdmi whatever you just 1.4 or 2.1. Literally no difference in gameplay. You literally sound like a salesman and talk like one which means you must be one.

I'm a content creator on YouTube and have had no issues with the XR500.
The big * is that DumaOS takes time to nail down good settings for a gamer who plays lots of different things.
One setting might be great for Cod but not so much for Apex & so on.
Eventually you'll find a setup that works good for most games.
The few that give you trouble you'll eventually find settings for as well.
I started out with the R1 years ago and grabbed a XR500 when it was released.
The one thing I witch NetDuma would put in bold somewhere on the interface or somewhere obvious is that it takes time to find good settings for all games.
I've notice many comments on many of my DumaOS videos where people have the same kinds of issues.
I explain that it takes time however once you find a good spot your online gaming experience will get better.
Looking back at comments I feel as though people think DumaOS is plug in play with minimal user adjustments.
That's simply not the case as everyone has a different setup.
DumaOS requires you to take the time to adjust things & find your sweet spot.
I can be a bit difficult but it's worth it in the end.
    Good Luck!

Cat 8 ethernet cable doesnt matter.

With 5E you're good for 1Gbit at shorter distances and 6 and higher will support 1G long distance and 10G.

It doesn't matter for gaming if you're using 5E or 7 unless you have a 10G connection.

Higher supported frequency's in cables are not used as the ports between your devices will auto negotiate it's transferspeed.

    I. never realised that selling a house was so complicated, my late moms house had 30 viewings in 7 days and we got a buyer at the asking price, now the paper work has come through and they are asking if we are leaving the light switches and electrical sockets?????? WTF, who takes the light switches and electrical sockets. ??????

I'm telling ya its the servers dude. I had one match last night where I was 17-0, finished the match 26 - 14. Almost every one of my deaths were 'shoot first, die first'.
I even put several shots at close range with my Mx9 into someones back for them to turn on me and one shot me with an ICR of all things!
I too run PingPlotter while playing and got 0 spikes and no packet loss in that match.

Getting a stable connection to a distant server is kind of hard to do from the router's end. There's so many variables we're not in control of. We don't control the servers, we don't control the undersea cables, we don't control how your ISP routes the connection. It might be worth looking for an ISP that promises quality routes for gaming.
