I wouldn't worry Shoulin, this is the Discord crew on damage control trying to protect their method. They've even made a rule that forbids even asking about the secret members club and are warning people for going against the grain, it's awful

Thanks. Tired of the AERIS or whatever I have I have 3-4 kids at a time playing Fortnite and other games. I guess I'll chip in for a XR1000

Have you done any manual port forwarding on the R2? As mentioned I have VM and the R2 plugged directly in to it and I've not had this before. You may not have even port forwarded but it may be UPnP has opened the port to the affected device. Do you see the port listed in UPnP?

to be fair, i was neveer helped. when i started up several years ago, no one would say anything and there were no helpfull forums like this. the money during those times were ungodlike. legit two people paying 1200 for old school NF and such.. friends would ask but i never told them the answer, i just pointed them in the right direction and got them on the path that i took to findout.

    NEW R2 FIRMWARE: 3.0.205

Hey all, hope you’re doing well. Here’s the latest firmware update for the R2 – 3.0.205 (Sounds great, right?) Nothing huge - but it welcomes several stability, security and general cosmetic improvements to your R2. We recommend you make the upgrade and do a full factory reset afterwards, just to make sure you're starting from a clean slate! You can go ahead and download it here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/49gt1wxva9rxame/DumaOS-R2-3.0.205.sig?dl=0 Those that have an R2 on pre-order, rest assured that it will come with this latest firmware pre-installed - if you have any issues or queries, just give us a shout! For the techies amongst you, here's a more detailed change log: System-wide GUI improvements to both cosmetics and Security Increased DHCP cache size to 10000, stopping DHCP from being filled by 1500 requests Improved Traffic Prioritisation for wireless devices Fixed occasional issue where IPv6 devices weren't assigned DHCP IPs DumaOS webserver fixes for improving operating smoothness of GUI Improved DPI detection services Improved Bandwidth Allocation backend

    Server route problem?!?

The in game ping includes processing delay which all games have so that is perfectly normal, both pings are correct - the Geo-Filter is your ping direct to the server
  17. 1 point
Sure no problem, I'll try to keep the streaming PC on as much as possible even if I'm not using it to see if it will happen a little faster, unfortunately it has RGB RAM that I can't change the color of (known issue with the current BIOS, waiting on an update) so I won't be able to keep it on over night as it's in my room and quite bright, but in the mean time I can ping -t the streaming PC the whole time to see if there are any recorded drops, I'll have it output to a txt file so I can check it over time and see about what time it occurs for the log file time stamp

    Xr1000 Advanced QoS?

I think this was were we chatted what we would like to see and one thing mentioned was the ability to add a different QoS like a piece of cake, FQ CoDel etc. Via a Rapp. I suppose it depends on the depth of the QoS in the system but it’s a nice suggestion but only Fraser or Liam could say if it was possible or could be implemented.

That all looks very good actually! If you're only seeing lag from other players in Destiny then that would suggest everything with the R2 is fine.

    conclusion geofilter

what? geofilter works in warzone for me i spent a day messing around with it trying to play in different countries, and ended up in alot of 150 ping lobbies. it does its job. just doesnt force you to get bot lobbies (like alot of people are trying to use the router for , which is comedy)

Ok guardians... Just signed up... Im so clear with all the community. Netgear/Support/Seo/Ceo/ who ever - need to adress/change that. It can´t be a thing, that cheaters/programmers from silly website using the router thousand of levels higher then the company wich sells it. Since the geofilter option is not working on pc, the question is - why would you even buy the XR500 for d2? Portforwarding is a thing every router can do. Why does UpNp dont work with d2? Wich setup to run for d2? Hybrid vpn to host/server - normal connection p2p no vpn? Is a combination worth it? Wich ports are really needed for d2? wich should be open ore closed - the game is using so many different ports meanwhile... If the companie is not able to handle such easy things - it is OK to say, we dont have that cracked people here on our side, we just can do, what we can do. It is also OK guys but do atleast something. Do gamepacks for port forwarding, ping reduction what the hell i know. But if u cant offer a product wich is basecally not working since years its litterly time to change something. Someone was talking about ping assist? what? how? in d2? adding: ore you can give us free qos settings, just update the list - sniff for pc wich ports is destiny 2 using and give us something.... there are so many easy steps for YOU guys, you could give us honey for our mouth... but nothing is coming.. how long would it take? to update the QoS section for actual games? Lets see destiny 2, they post all there ports wich they are using on their site. so copy and paste them, first data. play some crucible games, different modes. ask people who play d2 for a database if they have one? Add new QoS rule for Destiny 2. GG

    DHCP Release not working

Ok I’ll try that and get back to you. And just to confirm my last issue in case someone else has the same issue. Static’s have to be done through the router only and you can only assign static ip address’s within your current routers dhcp server distribution range and that seems to eliminate the constant locking up of my network and rebooting of the router. Thx again for all your help so far!

    Netduma R2 keeps crashing

@Zippy My bad, must've missed that! Thanks Zippy. @reem29 Just as a test, can you plug that back in and have it handle Wi-Fi, then plug the R2 into one of that router's LAN ports and just use the R2 for wired connections? Then monitor this and see if drops continue.

Esto depende del modelo específico de tu módem, sin embargo, si sólo tienes todos los dispositivos conectados a través del R2, éste seguirá teniendo un control total.

We've been having some issues dispatching UK orders due to the order in which stock has arrived, but we're hoping to get all remaining UK orders from January and February out today or tomorrow. Thanks for your patience! We do indeed have stock, but you will experience approximately a 1-2 week wait time due to the fact that we're still working through dispatching pre-orders.

    Geo filtro Fortnite

- The way their matchmaking works will still be the same, in my recommendation it would be quicker and more efficient for you to use the router in spectating mode and leave the game if it isn't a server you want. You will still be able to monitor the game connection from the Geo-Filter.

Many thanks for the offer of the trial firmware. Unfortunately I have gone and bought a TP Link Archer AX1100 WiFi 6 Gigabit Tri-Band Gaming Router. First time using a different manufacturer but I’m quite impressed with and no problems so far. I will probably use Netgear again in the future. Hope the trial firmware works for anyone that gives it a shot.

    Warzone Bot Lobby Servers

It's worth adding that Geo-filter wasn't designed in this way so you may struggle getting connected to very distant servers, and if you do the latency will likely be very high resulting in a bad experience.
