    Is this an ISP problem

I'd contact the ISP, having it drop like that could well be causing you issues.

    XR700 DumaOs 3.0 Beta

Was wondering how many people on the forum here are using a XR700 and are waiting for DumaOs 3.0 for it. Wanted to count how many XR700 users we have here on the forum. Drop a small message and I keep a counter on this page and also when we hear any news about XR700 beta drop it here directly.

SOLVED! Turns out the reason why the Geofilter wasn't working because it was still assigned to the old Playstation, not the new one. Simply deleted that, and added the PS5. Bit of a schoolboy error on my part - apologies for that. I only have the Geofilter map on my dashboard, and completely forgot that you had to assign devices to it. Still, hopefully it might stop others repeating the same mistake. Cheers

FIFA 21 function of NETDUMA R2

There is one more "thing " maybe administrator can help. you can check the history of your connection quality on "https://help.ea.com/en/ea-connection-quality-report/" what are your results ? I can see that when my packet loss is more than 0.09 % I can not control my players . is it possible to do something with this issue ?

    Slow WIFI Speeds. NetDuma R2

Great to hear it! Good answer above. Regarding Ad blocker, general advantage is that it blocks ads on all your devices, even those you wouldn't traditionally be able to get an ad blocker on.

    Slow WIFI Speeds. NetDuma R2

Widths, to keep it simple without too much nerdy stuff, your 2.4 and 5Ghz channels are made up of separate channels. What happens with widths is called channel bonding, 40mhz has more channels bonded than 20Mhz and 80Mhz has more bondeds channel than both 40Mhz and 20Mhz. The higher number of bonded channels the more throughput. with more bonded channels comes the risk of interference from other neighbouring Wi-Fi devices. So 2.4Hgz is often well populated unless you have very few neighbours and since it only has a few channels to select often there is interference and if you use a 40Mhz channel as it uses more bonded channels it can increase the risk of interference from neighbouring Wi-Fi and also you causing interference to your neighbours. This results in poor performance. 5 GHz on the other hand does not have the coverage so normally you don’t get so much interference and many routers also offer DFS but that’s another story but with 5Ghz you can use 20, 40, 80 and even 160Mhz but note 160Mhz is not recommended due to the lack of supported devices.

Disable Auto Ping in the Map options, then with Filtering Mode on of off invite them to your lobby, the icon that appears, click on it, give it a name and click allow. Then do that for each friend. Then re-enable the Filter if applicable, quickly restart the game. Then from then on you'll be able to play with them without needing to disable the filter.

Welcome to the forum! It could be QoS but unlikely, disable it completely from the Congestion Control 3 line option menu in the top left of the panel just to make sure. Disable Mirror mode and give 2.4/5GHz different names and connect manually to 5GHz. Experiment with the channels and widths to see what gives you the best speeds. Yes that will be the Adblocker, you can add those sites to the Whitelist and then they will work. Cat5e will be fine.

Ok, that makes me feel better. Thanks for the quick response as always, I am getting ready to see how this baby does on gaming Got everything setup and set up the ping servers for the games I play so hopefully I see the difference.

The connection benchmark speed test isn't reporting as accurately as it should at the moment so we'll be improving upon that. It won't be limiting your speeds, you'll be getting what speedtest.net says. Benchmark uses the Google server for the ping tests so it won't be the closest server to you as with speedtest.net hence the difference in ping.

If that is the way you want to go then yes you'd have to make additional rules.

    Tiny visual forum issue

Hello @Netduma Fraser 👋 Just thought I’d chirp up and mention a small visual glitch on the root forum page while using the ‘Netduma Dark’ Theme - I haven’t checked the other forums. Three of them have titles with white backgrounds. I imagine this is because those titles have been copy and pasted from a text editor which supports formatting (like Word or WordPad) and the formatting has been carried over? It should be possible to remove this formatting by copying to a basic text editor which doesn’t use formatting (like Windows Notepad) and then back again. Not a big issue - it just looks a bit odd 🙂

I'll move it to a better place. There is no cable connected because I'm not using the Router as I said in the header it is overheating and resetting. This is the first time I have problems with a router. The surface of my desk is not wood. The ambient temperature in that area is not hot. The PC next to the router is not a gaming PC so no heat I'll place the router in a better place and let you know.

    Traffic prortization please read

I've tried these ports, works pretty well on MW/Warzone (hit detection was fast), i'm still searching for Cold War

I would have to agree with the guys, not only for EMI but I assume the desk is wood so that will likely soak up the heat and put it right back towards the router, also the heat kicking out from the PC.

MarkofJ has always had a similar kinda connection, espc. in BOp3. He'd get hit from multiple directions yet take hardly any damage and he'd just melt you everytime. He's always said that the server is pretty much in his back yard and thats why.
