  1. @Netduma Fraser ok thanks, I only asked because in most posts I see you respond to, you usually advise people to do factory reset after an update.
  2. Is there a way that I can export and then import all of the Servers that I have saved under “Allow and Deny” from my current version of the R3, prior to updating the firmware to it’s latest version which will also require a factory reset?
  3. When someone performs these BufferBloat Tests from a PC, is the general consensus to connect to the R3 via a LAN Cable or can Wi-Fi work as well?
  4. Ok I haven't tested the behavior enough as yet but I will let you know. However, instead of it just "not working" (since pings can fluctuate all the time and what used to be on average a 30ms ping Sever has now risen to a 40ms over time) then my initial Target Ping which was set to 35ms will no longer be valid and not stabilize. I think you should modify/adjust how Steady Ping works so that if the Target Ping value is lower it flips from Expert back to how Simple works?
  5. Just a quick question, so I can better understand how Steady Ping works. If I put my Geo-Fiter around a Server that I usually get a Ping of 30ms (In Strict Mode & Ping Assist off) and then use the "Expert Steady Ping" to set a Target Ping of only 10ms, what will happen? Because I'm inputting a Target Ping lower than I normally get to the Server, and the way Steady Ping works is that I should really be inputting a value of > 30ms, so I'm curious to know what a lower value does, will it just ignore the 10ms Target Ping? Or does it default back to the "Simple" Steady Ping mode?
  6. Hi @Netduma Fraser could I also be sent the latest .23 update, I got my R3 today.
  7. I see the ping spikes both in game and on the on the Geo-Filter ping.
  8. When I add the PS5 to the Traffic Prioritization section in QoS, do I also leave the "DumaOS Classified Games" prioritization option enabled as well? Or disable that one and only leave the new one I create for the PS5?
  9. Thanks @DARKNESS following the steps in the order you listed fixed the issue! But I definitely still have the high ping spikes. Ping starts in the 20's then goes to 200-300 on and off constantly throughout the game. Weird thing is it was never like this and I didn't change any settings on my end (prior to the factory reset) the problem just randomly stated about a week ago.
  10. Hi, I did a factory reset on my XR500 because lately I was getting very high ping spikes while playing MW3 all of a sudden, and didn't understand why so I tried to do a Reset. The random and frequent ping spikes during game are still there, but in addition to that after the factory reset I can no longer see any Servers in the Geo-Filter section when I'm playing MW3. Can I please get some assistance.
  11. You can try throttling your speeds to produce 5 down and 0.5 up but even that does not always work and is inconsistent.
  12. So higher Pings equal better games? (example you gave was Spain/France 20ms vs UK at 6ms ping). And set the Geo-Filter to Servers further away to get a higher ping? Because lower pings lead to lag comp?
  13. I've never heard of "lag compensation being dependent on Ping" before. I always thought it was dependent on bandwidth (down/up) levels?
