Network Monitor

21 January 2018 - 01:21 PM

Hi guys, when selecting network monitoring and clicking on the graph to view ports in use, is there anyway of telling if they are tcp or udp ie colour coded, i know it identifies tcp 80 and 443 as http and https but i was wondering if there was a way of knowing if the port in use was tcp or udp.

Strange subnet Issue

02 November 2017 - 03:23 PM

Hi all, i have a really strange situation going on at the moment, not sure how or why , but my netduma subnet ip address of .88 is showing in my sky hub gui on upnp and also on my ps4 but the problem is i have taken the netduma out of the network to double check speeds i was getting  from the hub, it is unplugged from electrics and from the sky lan.

I have factory reset the console, netduma and sky hub but both the sky hub and the ps4 both still have .88 showing when they are on the .0 subnet, not sure if this has happened to anybody else before, dont understand it myself.

Just to simplify if im confusing anybody, my ps4 is showing an ip address which it gets from the netduma, but it is connected to the sky hub its not assigned to the ps4 manually but from the auto setting, in the sky hub menu under upnp it is showing the open ports for the ps4 but with the .88 ip address when it should have something like

any ideas?

Hi peeps, i had been getting really good games of late, hit detection on point, time to react etc, then all of a sudden game quality would drop dramaticly, i checked my gui and when i look at geo filter page i am on servers outside of my radius, not sure whats happening, ive done the usual strict mode ticked, filter around uk and 0 ping assist.

Ive tried factory reset, cloud update etc, i dont understand why, has this happened to anyone else? any input will be greatly appreciated.

Packet loss

26 June 2017 - 03:50 PM

hi all, having a slight issue with my netduma, when i run pingplotter i am seeing 50-70% packet loss from the netduma ip, i am with sky fibre so i have to run duma through the dmz of my sky hub, if i take the duma out and go through the sky hub i have no packet loss, i've tried different settings and a factory reset, any ideas? also noticed random ping spikes between 4 and 80ms when ping my netduma.
