#158714 CoD WW2 what did you think?

Posted by RoyDavis77 on 2 weeks ago

Shane & Roy may I ask how well you did and has this affected your reasons?

Not played it lol, but from what ive watched on streams and what i hear, it seems just as bad as previous titles, im holding off cod games until it improves, not holding my breath though, going by how they handled AW.

#155593 Geo-filter

I can confirm that if the geofilter is disabled till iw is loaded then i dont get hosts outside the radius, it must be an iw thing as i have never had this problem with blops 3 or fifa, thanks for your help Bagsta and Frazer, the things we do for gaming on cod lol.

#151644 Dslreports/Speed test which browser is best?

Posted by RoyDavis77 on 21 June 2017 - 08:43 AM

For an accurate BB test i run a ping test from command prompt to google and do a speed test, then i watch the ping for jitter/ping spikes, then lower congestion control until the pings are stable, better still if you have ping plotter then run that while carrying out a speed test for a visual graph of any ping spikes or packet loss.

#136149 Sky vs BT

Posted by RoyDavis77 on 10 January 2017 - 11:28 PM

I have gone from sky to bt to sky again lol, sky gives me a slightly lower ping but in the evening where i live when i was with bt my speeds would drop from 75mb to between 10 and 15, every night from about 5pm till midnight, when this happened my internet was absolute garbage for gaming and streaming, not sure if it was an overloaded exchange or heavy traffic management, but for me sky is much better, speeds never drop and a better ping :)

#131955 Slow GUI Interface: the solution is HERE!

Posted by RoyDavis77 on 30 November 2016 - 07:13 PM

Yes it works now, after setting port forwarding for call of duty the netduma gui would gradualy grind to a halt, couldnt access anything, just forever loading interface page, i tried rebooting after setting port forwarding to see what would happen and the netduma gui stayed responsive, i havent had any problems since, hth :)

#131830 Slow GUI Interface: the solution is HERE!

I found that if you set up port forwarding then reboot the netduma, the slow gui goes, ive not had a problem with it since, thats with geo-filtering,  port forwarding and hyper lane all active :)
