I am trying to get port 3389 to be opened up so I can use RDC. I try to manually add it but it says the rule already exists. I check any of the numerous port open sites and my WAN IP to that port still say's it's closed. I could use a little help on this. Thanks.

Help with gigabit speeds on Netduma
Mister914 replied to VisionaryHD's topic in Original Netduma R1 Firmware Support
Best I can get out of the Netduma is at max 690Mb/s down and 675Mb/s up with Gigabyte Verizon Fios. When I ran it a speed test on the Verizon Router, G1100, I got the full advertised speeds of 940Mb/ down and 940Mb/s up. Frazier, or anyone from the Duma team, any plans on actually updating the hardware after the Duma OS is released since speeds are getting much faster and affordable for a lot of people and maybe perhaps offering a trade in program for the earlier adapters of the router? -

Thanks Fraser.

Yes so hopefully that is what is being addressed in the upcoming DumaOS update, and if not, hopefully you can pass this info along.

We can't have our cable boxes directly connected to the NetDuma, the Ethernet port on our cable boxes are currently disabled, we have to bridge our G1100 Fios Router to be just a Moca coax connection for them.

I was having the same issues you are experiencing and was told it is a bug in the current firmware and should hopefully be addressed with the upcoming DumaOS upgrade. It also seems to affect AT&T wifi calling on iPhones as well.

I use this, and have disabled the wifi on the Netduma and it works flawlessly. TP-Link AC1200 Wireless Wi-Fi Access Point - Supports 802.3AF PoE, Dual Band, 802.11AC, Ceiling Mount, 2x2 MIMO Technology (EAP225) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LLAK1UG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_WhEdzbN3CRHK9 -

Question about Speeds
Mister914 replied to Mister914's topic in Original Netduma R1 Firmware Support
I'm just curious if the router can handle the full speeds, I thought I read somewhere it could only handle 800m down but I can find where I read that. I want to be able to utilize the full speeds I will be getting, not using the router just for gaming. I use it as my main and only router in my network. -
I am about to get upgraded to Verizon Fios Gigabyte Internet, 940m down and 880m upload, and I am hoping the Duma can handle these speeds. I know I'd lose CC and that leads me to my other question. With the new DumaOS releasing in the future will this be addressed, getting top speeds offered by my ISP and still being able to use CC.

Yeah it does cut them in half, but it's good to know I can just untick that option if I ever want to play a VOD. I still wonder what may cause this issue, maybe Ian or Fraser can chime in when they aren't too busy and respond as to why this is happening. I do hope however that they implement a permanent fix since it is a inconvenience.

I have the triple play package with Verizon Fios Quantum TV, 150/150 internet, and phone service. I have successfully got the G1100 bridged and have my primary router, a Netduma R1, doing all IP distribution, I even have on screen caller ID and Remote DVR functions working. I gave static IP addresses to both STB boxes, the same they were when behind the G1100. My VMS and IPC are both receiving guide data and VOD information, however this is the only problem I am having, which is once I hit play on the selected video nothing happens. I had one guy help me out and I will link it here to see what his finding were, since he explained it much better then I ever could. https://forums.verizon.com/t5/Fios-Internet/I-want-to-use-my-own-router-and-keep-tv-guide/m-p/831600/highlight/false#M63460 Do you guys think you can help me with this. I look forward to any help you can provide.
