#158576 Cod IW LOBBY BOOTING

Posted by PharmDawgg on 03 September 2017 - 02:28 PM

If you are booted it tends to mean that the game wanted to put you into a dedicated server. When this happens, look for a padlock symbol on the Geo-Filter. You should notice that it is outside your radius. This is the dedicated server that the game wanted to connect you to. It is likely the closest to you.

There are a few things you can do:

  1. After setting your home location, set the distance to a small number before pressing the 'Snap' button f3KoZc4.png few times. This will expand the Geo-Filter to an optimum size for getting games by detecting groups of servers.Increase the Geo-Filter distance to include the padlock so you may connect to that game.
  2. Disable strict mode; this will allow more games to be connected to. Please note that they may appear outside of your filter.

  3. Move your home until you get a different host or padlock to appear. (You may have to restart the game). Keep in mind our anti-cheat if you connect to games and continue to try and find other hosts.

  4. You may need to  apply cloud settings 4LkEGp2.png. That will flush out the latest cloud.

#158385 Changing DNS in Duma

Posted by PharmDawgg on 01 September 2017 - 12:28 AM

https://www.grc.com/dns/benchmark.htm

https://namebench.en.softonic.com/

These are two I am aware of .  If you ask 10 different people you probably with get 10 different answers on which dns servers to use but for me I use OpenDNS on my Xbox exclusively and on my Router I use Google DNS.  This seems to work best for me. But I would never use my ISP's DNS - not very dependable.

The R1 only affects your connection to the host. It's those other crap connection players that connect to your lobby that cause the game to not play so well.

#157937 A7Legit Passed Away :(

I was wondering where he was.  I haven't heard from him in a while.  He was always a cool dude to me and willing to help with my networking issues. I hope and pray that this isn't true but if it is RIP A7Legit. :(

#157918 COD WW2

Posted by PharmDawgg on 25 August 2017 - 08:47 PM

Ok received my beta code for the COD WWII website and took care of that so what is next? Will it automatically download to my console or will I get another code to use for the xbox. Kinda anxious if you can't tell.

looks like I will just be going back to GOW 4 and just focusing my anticipation on getting my Scorpio.  Maybe FFA for COD WW2 might be a different story.  Will wait for that option and test it out.

I preordered the Scorpio too and November can't get here quick enough.

This is a support forum and if you require any assistance please don’t hesitate to make a support post.
If you are having issues with your speeds here are a few suggestions.
Use these settings:
Reactive Algorithm
100% anti-flood
Share excess enabled
Reset device prioritisation & apply
Disable IPv6 in WAN, LAN & misc
Disable deep packet in misc
Enable turbo mode
Ensure the ethernet cables you're using connecting the R1 to hub & R1 to PC are Cat5e+/can handle your speeds.
Do a wired speed test from a PC

Hope this helps.

  • You may not modify or attempt to modify the online client, disc, save file, server, client-server communication, or other parts of any game title, or content.
  • You may not cause disruption to or modify or damage any Account, system, hardware, software, or network connected to or provided by PSN for any reason, including for the purpose of gaining an unfair advantage in a game.
  • You may not attempt to hack or reverse engineer any code or equipment in connection with PSN.
  • You may not take any action that SIE LLC, SIEA or its affiliates consider to be disruptive to the normal flow of chat or gameplay, including uploading, posting, streaming, or otherwise transmitting any unsolicited or unauthorized material, including junk mail, spam, excessive mail or chain letters.

#156883 Please help, cookies are not saving.

Posted by PharmDawgg on 12 August 2017 - 08:06 PM

I would recommend accessing the R1 gui and then hard resetting the browser you’re using. I would recommend using chrome if you are not already. Then go into the setting on the R1 and select enable cookies. Then reboot the router. Go back into the R1 settings to verfiy your selections have held.
