  1. Excited to hear about this, Fraser hit me up to test!
  2. I never had a problem using the test and sorry for the late response but maybe on those two days August 15/16 the site was down? I just tried it right now and it works as it should, I got a C testing over wifi just now.
  3. I reset my router and after all that it was worse than it was without the reset but this update should fix the issues. I was on 3.0.171 will update and report.
  4. I remember seeing that one when I was searching for mine. I did not buy it because I avoid the ones that do not show images of the inside of the cable. Reading the details on yours I would say it is multi stranded copper instead of solid single copper. That is why it can bend bend well without issues. The problem is oxygen inbetween the gaps of your stranded cable can cause issues with your connection versus my solid cable will not cause those issues. Think of the power lines in the walls of your home, they are solid copper not stranded.
  5. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07SJ73PHY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 That is a link to the best CAT 8 cable I could find in terms of what is used to make it. I also just picked up an Arris SB8200 modem and so far I am happy with it definately better than my old SB6190 modem.
  6. i recently purchased three of these cables which took me a really long time to find. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07SJ73PHY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Not all cables are made the same and this is a better CAT 8 cable for connections using single solid copper conductors versus stranded copper conductors.
  7. Nice, I am glad it this can help other out if DSLReports is not working for them.
  8. Yes for a while now and I am not the only one. DSLReport will not show bufferbloat bar or grade. I have to mess with the settings and sometimes it works but go back to not working again after closing the page or browser. So since it does not work consistently anymore I found the waveform bufferbloat test.
  9. Anyone try out this new bufferbloat test from WaveForm? They have a separate speed test and stand alone bufferbloat test. http://www.waveform.com/tools/bufferbloat Since DSLReport is not really showing bufferbloat grade anymore this is a new place to check it out.
  10. I am having the very same issue and could never get this work properly so I am manually blocking my sons playstation too. Please find a fix for this because it is not working as it should.
  11. Sometimes you have to ask the ISP to push the the update. They wait and see if people complain about somthing then try and fix the issue. That is what I did for my SB6190 with them, they had the update but had not pushed it to my modem until I asked them.
  12. There would have to be some really good updates to the AQM for me to purchase another modem. As long as this modem doesnt have any major issues and so far its has been great and the modem is not hot or overheating.
  13. I had to replace my Arris SB6190 and get the SB8200 and I have to say there is a huge difference. Not only did the lag and buffering stop but the images are clearer while watching things like Hulu and Discovery+. I was downloading a huge update to Warzone last night after calling Spectrum to activate the new modem. Then tested the network watching some TV all without an issue. Then today for the first time since playing Warzone, I finally won 1st. place playing Battle Royal Solo. I can tell while gaming that everything was smoother and no screen tearing by the airport. Also now I can actually see the Modem page since with the SB6190 they blocked the page. Arris SB8200 Version 6 to be exact for the win!
  14. Yea I am aware of this but turning on flash was the only way for me to get bufferbloat and grade to work on the dslreports site.
