In Topic: Virgin Superhub 3 & DSL reports bufferbloat test

I got horrific jitter and couldn't get A+ or even an A for bloat just using the Superhub 2 which, as far as I'm aware, didn't even have that chip issue. I dare not try to imagine how depressing gaming must be on that :(

So, after much complaining to VM, i was finally moved over to the 350MB service, as you can see here My Broadband Ping my BQM is showing the SH3 before the upgrade at 2pm! Spikes are significantly lower! Now to get home and test!

The way I did it was to first disable GeoFilter, then start a new chat (you host chat), invite them in and add them when they join. Let them know they wont hear you at first. After a couple minutes have them rejoin chat. Then they should be able to join you in game. The reason I said to do it in chat is because you will know all the circles are them. Just ask them what State they are in so you can log their names to locations.

I have tried this, still having issues, the other person with an R1 has turned off geo filter, we cant even connect to each other on xbox live party.

I've tried this and I'm not getting the red circle in order for me to add them. Do you know if in Call of Duty I need to go to Custom Match and invite them in? The issue I'm having is, im sending the invite with the geo-filter turned off and 1 person can't join me because they also have an R1. Do they need to turn off the Geo-Filter too? Weirdly, we can both join a person that doesn't use an R1 but then they can't migrate the host to one of us because we "don't have the correct network configuration" or something like that.

Hi All

Thanks for the welcome

Hello and welcome to the forum.

When it arrives today remember to place your superhub into modem only mode and have all devices running through the netduma R1. In geo filter set your location manually to your location and enable cookies in misc settings.

Any further help we are always happy to help!

Hi BD,
So the R1 arrived this afternoon, i've placed the SuperHub into Modem Mode and connected up all fine. I've read on the forum that the recommended setting for CoD WW2 is around 800-1000km, strict mode enabled and Ping Assist to 0ms. Can you clarify what setting these to actually does?

Thanks

Kenny
