  1. Netgear has no clue. Its already the second XR500 that I’ve got and both had issues.
  2. Been using wifi myself with no issues but I can’t even get the ethernet port to work at all for my PS4. Works fine though for my printer and my laptop.
  3. Ok. Its a ps4 slim btw When I turned off wmm I wasn’t able to get an internet connection at all.
  4. So I turned off the beam forming and mumimo no change. I also (just for fun) turned off wmm and that made it worse.
  5. I have done a factory reset on the first xr500 I bought and got a new xr500. This is the second one i’ve had and both times the hardline hasn’t worked. I’ve also had a netgear rep remote access my laptop and he couldn’t figure it out. The only thing that seems to work is connecting to the 2.4ghz wifi. So far the only thing I haven’t tried is a cat6 ethernet and contacting playstation. I’m sure they would say its either the router or my ISP. The only things I know that i’m 100% sure about is that it isn’t my ISP and it isn’t my playstation. It must be some kind of setting or my ethernet port isn’t compatible with the xr500 (if that makes sense) or I need a cat6 cable.
  6. Nope haven’t tried a cat6 and i’ve called netgear in regards to this and they have no clue.
  7. tried this and it said to contact my ISP. theres nothing wrong with my internet. I've tried an older router and it works just fine. when I connect the xr500 it has a problem connecting hardlined. oh and also to the 5ghz wifi doesn't work as well. I can only use the 2.4ghz
  8. I will try that and let you know. Ok so set my ps4 to auto and removed my console from the geo-filter, it still doesn’t work.
  9. I too have this problem. I can never get my ps4 slim to connect to ethernet or 5ghz. 2.4 works just fine. I can’t wrap my head around why. I have the latest firmware, ipv6 is not turned on and I have a cable modem. Any thoughts?
  10. How exactly do I find that information? I’m new to this.
  11. Awesome changing the geo filter to spectating worked for me!!!
