  1. The first 2 screenshot were taken in that friday to saturday night right when i found out that duma os cloud ius having an outage, and i just took the last 2.
  2. In Friday to Saturday night and while we were playing COD Warzone we were finding lobbies very quickly (fastly finding lobbies since days and we were in a 5hour session) and then we had to wait like 20mins without any lobbies poppin in... no power outage or isp outage... so decided to full setup reboot aka everything... same shit can't find lobbies... go in ping heatmap to find out that over half of COD dedis disappeared and the nearest was over 40ms aka between mid usa to west usa. Friends also confirmed same result on their setups. Had to raise ping assist to 50ms instead of 30ms on a -10ms line and second setup on a -1ms line !!! Yes i did lot of reboots... cloud flush and cloud sync's !!! Only COD dedis seems to be impacted !!! The gaming experience have flipped from barely ok to attrocious and not only on xr1000 but also on xr500 !!! The first 2 screenshot were taken in that friday to saturday night right when i found out that duma os cloud ius having an outage, and i just took the last 2.
  3. I've been telling it to both you NETDUMA and NETGEAR since the alpha on xr1000 THAT WE NEVER WERE ABLE TO TFTP THE XR1000... only the xr1000... i've tftp multiple times my r1 routers, my xr500 routers (+ a lot of other brands routers) and i actually still own and manage 1 R1, 2x XR500, 1 XR1000 and ONLY the XR1000 CAN'T TFTP !!! PS: .64 is more broken than .58 and it's shoot first die first scenarios so the actual best firmware to use is still the .52 even if it always disconnect ipv6 so we need to at least once daily reboot the xr1000 but this is the last enjoyable firmware for the xr1000 !!! Also note that both .58 and .64 retains old settings aka it does not properly factory reset... only .52 can properly factory reset (and older) The picture from Rylo shows exactly the qos problems we have since so long.... from the first alpha firmware of xr1000 to latest i saw it change from no problem to both download and upload flippin to upload having a problem but not download, flippin to both havin problem, flippin to only download having problem and from then it stayed on download having the problem on every firmware ! It also correlate with the devices qos (Bandwidth Allocation in mode Devices) not working properly anymore (upload wifi share excess cannot be disabled aka it always stay enabled even if you disable it) so we are forced to use mode Applications instead ! Finally it also corelate with download being detected as upload !!! I just took some screenshots with actual .52 because like i said it gives best gaming experience vs .58 and .64 so it also shows that i'm saying the truth as .52 is old and that same behavior still is present in every build they made since then. So as you can see in screenshots or by testing it yourselves like i did, download is detected as upload !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also could put thousands of screenshots showing the difference in dumaos benchmark on every firmware versions i had and on multiple network and setups to show when things have broken... but i won't as it's not needed and also Netduma and Netgear can pinpoint everytime i mentionned those problems in real time.... and i'm not trying to blast them but to simply help them fixing what WE customers paid for and still pay on a daily as we have to pay internet bills to use a router 😛 !!! The fact that major problems like those are still there is sad and it destroy our gaming experience so let's hope this time they get fixed once for all !!! My XR1000 keep the 5ghz light full open when xr1000 reboot.... you guys should take a look... if the light stays ON it means it doesn't properly power off like it should... so to kind of fixing that, you need to reboot it and wait till all lights are white then power off via the back power button, power On then wait till all lights are white then start your devices and enjoy !!! If you don't change any settings since last power on of your xr1000, and/or didn't added other devices to your setup, then you could power off the xr1000 directly via back power button. So you need to reboot first if you changed things or added devices . If your xr1000 5ghz light properly shut off like the 2.4ghz light then you clearly don't need to worry about that part so a simple reboot would be ok.
  4. This is effectively one of the major problems in this firmware... it's even worst than .58 !!! I switched back to .52 as this is the last less broken firmware that give us a decent gaming experience aka way less shoot first die first scenarios vs .58 and .64 (even with the major ipv6 problem disconnecting every ipv6 devices from one to multiple times a day (so you need to reboot xr1000 daily to enjoy your ipv6)) Note that you also can't properly factory reset while on .64 like on .58 (as it remains old settings) so to properly factory reset you'll need to get back on .52 or older and then it will properly factory reset all settings !!! Also DON'T SETUP via NIGHTHAWK APP on any firmware after .52 as it cause even more problems !!! ps: Even if you don't see the ''Applying'' box showing it still applies the slidders... just set your qos to Always then change both slidders to 1 and then refresh the page and now do a speedtest... you should get proper speed based on your line... change both slidders to 70 then refresh page and do another speedtest... now you confirm that it did applied even without the notification box showing Applying !!! PS::: When you change the slidders and hit refresh the page... only press once on refresh and wait.... Because if the setting you've changed already applied then the page will start refreshing instantaneously when ya'll hit refresh.... but if it still is applying your changes then it will take a couple of seconds for the page to start refreshing because the apply task is still finishing its job before the next job aka ''page refresh'' Same goes for a pc... if you press reboot or power off... it will do it instantly if no task is running important tasks in backgroud and it will take more time when there is an important task in the background (important like an update) The reason i said it's a major problem is because the qos is still broken like never before and even the auto optimisation is also still broken and pretend that my under 10ms lines are not good at all and they need 50 download and 99 upload ... with only 1 pc on a docsis 3.1, 454mb down and 56mb upload or on second setup on a ftth, -1ms 1.5gb download 1gb upload ... the ftth line have spikes in the 300ms only on download...! The docsis 3.1 line have download falsely pretending its in +50ms (on a less than 10ms line !!!) and it's being breaking our lines since .58 but that problem came prior to .58 but it was less broken than since .58 .... and still while gaming it brings it to around 20ms down while the upload always is around 10ms and even lower more to 4-6ms while gaming !!! Well on .64 both are low aka the download part seems to be working better so the top stress download gives max 20ms compared to 50ms even if line didn't changed and also that downgrading/upgrading firmwares can let you confirm the differences on your actual setup and always gives the same problems and/or output aka i flashed xr1000 over 10 times in last 3 weeks and always same exact behaviors and same exact +50ms on stress download only while the upload always is under 10ms. So the problem is that even if now their tool detect a bit better than before... now we back to Shoot first die first at all times even with only 1 pc hooked on xr1000 on a 454mb down and 56mb up line and with slidders set to everything. Auto optimisation still give 52/99 as top result...! So by simply downgrading to .52... factory reset... setup via lan not via nighthawk app... setting up the same exact settings as always with every dumaos routers we have... the qos is broken still(pretend stress download is +50ms on a -10ms line AH AH AH) but we can enjoy decent gaming experience... no shoot first die first... slidders to 80 down and 98 upload works the best the xr1000 have been pushing since it's been created...
  5. EVERY COD NEEDS TO BE UPDATED FRASER !!! We had only like 3 or 4 days where 99% of COD dedis were properly detected by your cloud... rest of the time there's always half dedis that doesn't work !!!
  6. jumping trew hoops ??.. what you mean ?? There's nothing crazy in doing the proper things the proper way to enjoy your experience !!! I gave more infos just so more people understand how it works and how to deal with these problems... but it's not more job... it's the exact same but with more infos so you understand what to do !!! Like XR1000 really needs to be initialised via the nighthawk app... not because i say so... but because they added an antivirus into that xr1000 and that broke the usual setup way... by initialising the xr1000 via pc like we used to do with every other duma os router it skip that antivirus unlocking (not activating it) so that cause lots of problems after... when initialising xr1000 via nighthawk app you properly ENABLE (not activating it) that antivirus and it don't cause any problems after !!! It's been like that since the first Alpha firmware prior to public release !!! I did hundreds of factory resets and setups on that xr1000 in last 12 months to find problems and to find solutions... I did thousands of factory resets and setups on R1 and XR500 in last 6 years to find problems and solutions... I'm the only 1 who found that xr500 is unstable and also the only 1 who found a way to stabilise it... so yes you can say that it's crazy to have to do that much work just to be able to enjoy gaming... but i think it's even crazier to pay premium price for supposed premium products which don't works as expected and not doing anything to fix it !!!
  7. We play on 120hz screens and with 60hz screens and there's no difference at all on latency or ping ect !!! With what you said... my friend would get the same latency as me because friend play at 60hz and on ps4 pro so less than 100fps...while i play in 2k 120hz with +120fps... we have 5ms difference in ping on our lines... so from what you say we would get same latency because friend play at 60hz and that would add more latency to friend... well my friend lives 10 streets from me... and friend always get 5ms less latency vs me !!! Same results if we test the other way aka friend at 120hz and me at 60hz. Same result if we both at 60hz... same result if we both at 120hz !!! Also you can disable Cold War option named ''Matchmaking delay'' so everybody on earth will join your lobbies... and even if most people on a lobby are higher than 100ms it doesn't add more latency as you are hook on a dedis so same latency as if you play against people in same ping bracket as you !!!! Cold War is the first COD where you barely can track enemies if they don't have higher ping than you... because they did major changes... mostly to prevent Duma Os users to continue having too much power over other non duma os players... so most infos we have are now obsolete because they changed so many things that nothing still works like it used to be !!! There's a huge difference in What's supposed to happen vs What really happen ... just like upnp is supposed to open any and every ports when needed and then closing them when not using them anymore... but XR1000 is the only duma os router that don't do that and it's been like that for a year now... still it's upnp and it's supposed to work by itself and properly but it doesn't on XR1000 only !!! Matchmaking doesn't deal with dedis at all... matchmaking is just to balance players that are on a lobby (based on their stats)... independently of that lobby !!! In BO4 they added a listening server aka a recorder that record everybody and that's why it added latency... and if you ever used a streaming program (to record your show and stream it) you already know it's adding you latency (and that's why most pro youtubers ect now use dual pc configs to remove that added latency from the recorder) !!! They explained that at that time and said it's to help them getting proofs of hackers so they can ban them faster than before... still there's so much hackers/modders and we still have to deal with that added latency !!! Activision just like other businesses do things in background without telling it to people... so you end up thinking it still works a certain way when in fact it's not anymore (that's why duma os is having so much problems now).
  8. Yesterday 25-05-2021 we logged in Cold War on ps4 pro... no dedis were detected by cold war and we ended up in p2p lobbies !!! So that statement is very false !!! Call Of Duty ALWAYS have/had both enabled... p2p and dedis... but since dedicated servers are supposed to still be better vs p2p... they prioritize playing via their dedis first and p2p is second !!! They want you to play on their dedis because they manage their dedis so it's harder to hack them and also because they record everything now (that's why there's an added 10ms ingame... not because of the players in that lobby since that's the only advantage of a dedicated server... you only depend on your connection to that dedis... not to other people's lines like in p2p !!! Also only in p2p you know live when a far away dude enter the match as everybody will get impacted by that high ping dude... that's not the case on a dedis !!! If i was wrong then none of the matchs i play would have same ingame latency as i mostly get people in same ping bracket as me but sometimes i face people with over 150ms ping while we all around 30ms (on pc look at the replay when you get killed and look the latency it shows while the replay runs... that latency shown while the replay of you getting killed is that player's latency !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Once the replay finish you back playing, look at latency and it's back to YOUR latency !!! You need the Latency option to be set to Show Latency and it will show top left of the screen !!! Also... if you don't change MATCHMAKING DELAY option in Cold War then you always connect to anybody on earth who try to play Cold War at same time than you... no matter their stats or ping !!! For the setting that seems more balanced you should set it to 10ms... and you should see most people at same latency than you !!!
  9. Don't put the XR1000 wan at open... the only reason why we were forced to do that on XR500 was to allow us to get more than 1 device Open ingame... but it's not working on the xr1000 (never have worked since last year aka since the Alpha of xr1000) and also cause a worse gaming experience !!! You need to optimise your slidders while you play if you want to finetune so you don't shoot first die first !!! Let download at 70 and just raise upload by +2 until your bullet properly register so no more shoot first die first !!! Please note that you really have to disable both share excess prior to gaming if you want the best experience possible in games... just re-enable them after gaming (THIS IS VALID SINCE FIRST NETDUMA OS) !!! Bandwidth Allocation need to be set at DEVICES and not at apps !!! QOS always need to be set at ALWAYS !!! DON'T USE GEO FENCING aka polygon mode or radius mode... ONLY USE PING ASSIST with home location set in water... for Optimal gaming experience !!! The reason that FORCE us to use Ping Assist is simple... the cloud is broken since BO4 and they never fixed it so there is mislocated dedis everywhere aka you set your home (exemple) in New Jersey and set radius to just cover New Jersey... your line's ping aka base ping is 10ms... since there is new jersey dedis in COD you'll ping real new jersey dedis at same ping than your line aka 10ms... you'll play an awesome match at 20ms ingame while on a 10ms new jersey dedis... next match you'll find out that you're playing at 80ms ingame... why??... because some mislocated dedis will popup at that new jersey location so the game will think it's allowed so it will use it...resulting in you getting killed like a noob ect on a 70ms mislocated dedis !!! And just because i'm awesome i'll tell you how to properly set your ping assist and also confirming my explanations 😛 ... use ping heatmap and ping all 4 COD one after each other because you can only ping 1 game at a time 😛 ... ping them at least 2x each ... that will first confirm you the best ping you can get on these dedis... it will also show you the second best dedis and you'll use that to set your proper ping assist... use the highest of the seconds dedis in MW, WZ and CW... no need to use bo4 for that as more than half its dedis are not working... and add +2 or +3ms more to that number. So like you ping the first ones at 10ms... the second ones comes at 16ms, 15ms and 18ms... so you want to take the highest of them aka 18ms and add to it +2 or +3ms so set ping assist at 20ms or 21ms !!! If you do exactly what i say you'll find matchs quickly & easily and always on the best availables dedis for you !!! Depending on the game you play, you'll either see your friends on the map when they join you like in MW or Warzone... so if they're blocked to join you because of their ping then you just have to allow them... i suggest closing auto ping to do that so you'll have time to write their names... just re-enable auto ping after you added them !!! If playing on Cold War... well good luck as xr1000 won't let that happen easily... you need to be on the same exact dedis as your friends to play with them... yes only in Cold War... since you can't see your friends at all on netduma's cloud only in Cold War, that means you can't allow them anymore... so it becomes a lottery thing aka you'll have to reboot the game until you both connect... either both of you or only 1 of you... until you both connect !!! You also can raise ping assist little by little until you are able to connect with those friends but that will also put you on higher ping lobbies so it's up to you !!! It's easier if your friends don't also use duma os routers as they will always connect to every ingame dedis while you don't... so in that case you the one who will need to finetune to let them in your party !!! PLEASE NOTE that you always NEED to confirm your ingame bandwidth after entering a game....before you start playing... because if you don't have the proper ingame bandwidth it will not be a pleasant gaming experience... at all !!! Proper ingame bandwidth for every Call Of Duty since the first COD is 4mbs aka approx 4118 kbps (the last 3 digits don't count ) and under 4100kbps ingame in COD it won't play good anymore (i miss first netduma os as we were able to lower our ingame bandwidth to 300kbps resulting in a flawless experience) but since duma os came out we can't do that anymore as it breaks our gaming experience !!! You won't have problems getting proper bandwidth with WZ,MW or any previous COD... but it's intensely hard to get it in Cold War (ps this is a CW problem and it's not related to Netduma this time as you can test that by trying the game without duma os router and you'll still struggle to get the proper 4118kbps bandwidth... even on an ftth 0-1ms 1,5Gb/1Gb line !!!) so if friend try to join you and friend have proper bandwidth then you should be the one rebooting CW until you also get proper bandwidth and then invite friend to join you !!! Like i said you both need to be specificaly on the same dedis to join each other... so if still having problem to join friends or vice versa... or if friends also have duma os routers... then you both should raise ping assist until you can connect !!! Like my friend live at some streets away and also have duma os... my line is 10ms and friend is 1ms... so we both have to raise our ping assist to 25ms to be ables to join each other at a 80% success rate... meaning 20% of times we won't be able to connect together... but at 25ms i'm still not allowing the third best dedis so our ingame pings still are decent at max 33ms ingame...!!! If we don't feel like participating in a stupid router lottery then we'll raise ping assist to 30ms... that makes every us.northeast dedis pop in and that raise our chances connecting together to 99% so no need of rebooting dozens of times to be able to join friends... we just have to reboot until we are satisfied with our ingame bandwidth and then we join each other !!! If on PS4 you should forget about proper ingame bandwidth in Cold War as it's impossible to get anymore... on Pc it sometimes take only 2-3 reboot and most of the times it takes over 7-8 reboot of the game to get proper +4100kbps ingame bandwidth (still only on Cold War) while for other CODs there's no bandwidth problem on either consoles/pc... and warzone on pc we get 49mbps instead of 4ms and that one never change !!! Because of that weird problem only on xr1000 and only with Cold War... if you and friend are lucky and both connect to let's say us.northeast.5 ... you'll be able to play together but if at the end of a match the game decide to flip you on another dedis, it will also do that with your friend but even if you both play together it doesn't mean they'll flip your friend on the same dedis as you... that will result in GAME LOBBY ERROR (caused by broken duma os) and will kick you out to main page of the game if on console and it will completely close your game if on PC... so you'll have to fight again just to get proper ingame bandwidth once again then making friends join in !!! It does that if friends are at their own home while you're at yours... but also when on same router like if friend comes to your home and both are hooked to your xr1000 !!! I don't have problems connecting with friends while on R1 or XR500 (no lobby errors on r1/xr500) but R1 don't push tickrates high enough and have so much problems since duma os 3 latest firmwares... xr500 was stabilisable with my trick until duma os 3.0... now there's no ways to stabilise tickrates on xr500 anymore as duma os 3.0 firmwares have broken xr500's even more than .56 firmware did !!! That's why even if it seems like you have a lot to do to properly enjoy these xr1000 routers... once done it works better than any other duma os routers to date even with the insane list of problems it hold !!! I always do and i've been telling everybody to do that... ALWAYS REBOOT YOUR ROUTER PRIOR TO A GAMING SESSION !!! The first device you'll connect to COD will get OPEN and others will be Moderate... moderate doesn't matter for as long as 1 device properly is Open... like if you play on pc and a friend come with ps4... rebooted router... and both are stuck in moderate... that means there's a problem and your gaming session won't be good... in that case just reboot router and WAIT UNTIL DUMA OS ROUTER LIGHTS ARE ALL UP before starting any devices !!! Like i mentionned there's a problem only with Cold War and that will cause you to only get moderate... to bypass that you only need to load Warzone or MW to open the proper COD port aka 3074 so that device will becomes Open ingame, just close it and re-open Cold War and boom you are Open and now other devices can start and join your lobby !!! 99% of times the consoles get Open by just entering Cold War but not always... like last night ps4 pro started first and was moderate... jumped in WZ and still moderate... back in CW and still moderate... so i rebooted xr1000 again and then ps4 got open first shot in CW... then i started my pc and joined in !!! When i'm alone i only use my pc so once in a million i get open directly by only entering CW but 99% of times i'm moderate so i just enter WZ to get open then i close it and open CW again and voilà i am open... then i check CW ingame bandwidth and reboot as much as needed to get at least 4100kbps... 3997kbps is the lowest that is playable... under that it's only shoot first die first !!! Make sure ipv6 is disabled !!! If it was open or if you want to test it and want to fix the problems... disable qos via left burger icon in qos... then reset distribution but right after it finish reseting distribution you need to Update distribution on both Download and Upload... that will keep bandwidth allocation at devices instead of putting it back to apps and that will keep both share excess disabled... then you refresh the page to confirm the changes you made are applied properly !!! You only have like 1 minute before duma os ask you to confirm you the admin so try to do changes and refresh page before that timer ends... because if you change too much settings it takes more time, then when you refresh it ask credentials and it seems it kind of mess up with the changes you made ... so less changes between page refresh will prevent those problems !!! Now go in advanced settings and disable ipv6... aplly 2 or 3 times... reboot router... now do speedtest to confirm the proper bandwidth is being shared to devices... i like to test that by lowering both slidders to 6... with both share excess disabled... speedtest will confirm if proper bandwidth... if yes then that means everything works good so you can start gaming... if speedtest doesn't split properly (1mbs difference is alright but not more), that just means your router bandwidth is not properly set... just re enter your line's bandwidth in qos top left burger icon and refresh page after then speedtest again... now it should split both download and upload properly !!! Last thing... i don't know if you did xr1000 setup via nighthawk app or via pc.... please note that if you did via pc... xr1000 will never work properly... you absolutely need to do the initial setup via nighthawk app... just add admin password and don't change anything else... reboot router via that nighthawk app and close that wifi device. Once xr1000 have rebooted you then can use wired pc to do the complete setup (it's way faster via wired pc than via wifi device) and your xr1000 absolutely need to be hook to internet while setting it up !!! If via nighthawk app the app says you're not connected to internet... that's just because you didn't factory reset your modem or AIO (modem + router combo from isp's) so no need of closing app or xr1000... just hold the reset pin on the modem/aio for 15seconds to 30seconds and release it... keep your app active so it doesn't shut off and wait a bit until modem/aio is fully loaded... hit back on nighthawk app so it will start internet detection again and it will find your line !!! XR1000 is not able to properly detect line's proper bandwidth like other duma os routers can... so you'll need to set that proper line's bandwidth later while you'll do the complete setup (and that's why i test qos with both slidders at 6... line's bandwidth becomes so low that it's easier to confirm proper duma os operationnal state... and also because xr1000 don't detect line's bandwidth while initial setup so the test results will be off... once proper line's bandwidth is set and applied then boom results will be on point) you also can confirm line's proper bandwidth without changing slidders to 6, if your line exceeds 100mbs... xr1000 will show on right of slidders that your line is 1000/1000 while in fact xr1000 locks it at 100mbs while initial setup... so with qos set at Always... speedtest will lock at 100mbs instead of said 1000mbs... so like i said to fix that you simply enter in qos burger icon then set bandidth properly, apply, refresh page, speedtest to confirm now your device receive proper bandwidth on both download/upload !!! Cold War have a setting named CONNECTION QUALITY in settings/account/network... look at it and lower the results page to see on which dedis you're hooked !!! Even then if friend is also on 3.5.7 just like you, that won't mean they'll be able to join you... as you show 3 5 7 but only hook to one of them so you might be on 3 while friend also see the same 3 dedis but is in fact hooked on 5 or 7 so impossible to join you !!! Cold War also have an option named MATCHMAKING DELAY ... set that to 10ms to get way better and more balanced lobbies !!! You should test that setting until you find the best for you but i've tested with noob accounts up to pro players account and they all seemed more balanced at 10ms delay !!! PLEASE note that this setting IS NOT ADDING MORE DELAY TO SEARCH aka IT WON'T TAKE MUCH LONGER TO FIND MATCHES... it only tells the game to restrict search to distance or to stats depending on the setting you use... instead of the basic matchmaking of CW which is only based on Players searching at same time as you even if they are on another continent or don't belong in same bracket as you !!! PS: Your device type really matter and xr1000 also have detection problems like it detects ps4 pro as gaming console now instead of as a playstation like it was doing prior to .52 or like other duma os routers do... it now also detect pc as game console instead of pc like it used to do (sometimes it properly detect pc as pc)... so you have to change devices type to playstation for playstation, xbox for xbox and XBOX for PC's (really important)... you'll have to re-apply that change 2 times because first time you change it,just wait 30seconds and it will change it by itself to game console again... re-put it as xbox and apply... refresh page and it will stay as xbox !!! Traffic prio... always disable the duma classified games list.... add your devices manually as game console + normal + default !!! DON'T enable apply to wan (it might only help if you have an aio from isp and no access to manage it...then that option would kind of bypass your aio's firewall and or upnp) but if you use a modem or an aio that you can manage... then just set xr in dmz and Don't enable that ''apply to wan'' option as it negatively impact our gaming sessions...!!! In geo filter you add devices as game consoles + manually ... don't choose auto set depending on game !!! People who tells other people to set pc as playstation don't understand that windows pc's also are xbox now and they use xbox gaming features so setting them as xbox is the proper way and won't cause problems !!! If duma os was performing like in original netduma os then that wouldn't matter as what type you set your devices... but it's not and now the results of your gaming experiences also depend on the device type !!! To prove it once again... let pc as pc and add it to geo filter... choose cod pc and it will tell you that this game is not supported ah ah ah... and if you select only COD... it will let you filter cod only... if you play other games you'll need to create other rules for them... while if you set a pc that is now also an xbox as an xbox... set geo filter as game console... boom any game you'll start will be able to follow your duma os settings and COD will properly follow geo filter rules you've set without problem even on pc !!! Depending on the games you play you might have to adapt lil settings like raising or lowering ping assist (like if you play cod and don't have near by dedis then you need to set ping assist higher since dedis are far away... but if you jump in fortnite and there is local near you dedicated servers then your ping to these dedis would be lower vs in COD so you could lower your ping assist to only enter in lowest ping dedis available while you play that fortnite game !!! Changing ping assist won't negatively impact your gaming experience without a router reboot but adding new rules or devices or removing a device from the setup ect... do need a router reboot to be fully operationnal !!! Also EVERYTIME you add a device or remove a device to/from duma os... you need to reset distribution (even if showing proper numbers) and update both download/upload distribution before refreshing the page so you won't need to switch apps to devices and to disable both share excess again !!! Always confirm your qos is properly working afterwards via a speedtest while both share excess are disabled !!! Like i said... xr1000 is sharing upload almost 100% flawlessly while on download we loose like 1mb only... so if with slidders set you suppose to get 15mb down and 3mb up to every devices since no share excess used... and you have 4 devices... then your slidders would give 60mb down and 12mb up (that bandwidth number on the right side of both slidders... when at always these numbers are the max bandwidth available for all devices)... then speed test download on that devices multiplied by number of devices (x4) will give 59mb instead of that 60mb while the result of upload will give the proper 12mb... like if we loose around 1 mb on download but loose nothing on upload. So if the numbers don't match that logic of loosing only kbps instead of mbs, then you have a problem so set line's bandwidth again, reset distribution, update distributions, test again. If it's not working after like 3 try, you need to factory reset the xr1000 and do the initial setup via the nighthawk app like i explained !!! Forget playing over wifi (until they really fix qos) as upload share excess is not working properly via wifi... in fact it doesn't work at all only on wifi upload... download is ok on wifi !!!! On Lan both share excess works almost perfectly when doing proper things like i'm sharing !!! So i just gave you the REAL PROPER infos and settings needed to enjoy gaming on a duma os router as of today... specifically the XR1000... if it's too much work for you to do and/or understand, then i suggest you to get rid of that xr1000 asap and either wait for the next netduma router or to simply wait until duma os becomes as good as original netduma os was... or get another brand router !!! It might seems like a lot to understand and to do but trust me it's in fact real easy and simple and it takes around 6 mins to fully setup xr1000 after a factory reset ... add some more minutes depending on the number of devices you have but i also suggest to only add like 3-4 devices first and testing that everything works good (after you've rebooted xr1000 once setup is done) prior to adding more devices !!! Take care... Peeaace !!!
  10. As of today the XR1000 is the worst !!! Months later we still can't have more than 1 device in Open mode in COD... can't get proper bandwidth in COD (mostly Cold War on pc as warzone always get 50mbps(yes 50 000kbps) while CW barely get 4000kbps) except if you restart the game multitude of times in a row until you get proper 4100kbps and more !!! Struggle to have parties with friends since weeks... and i found out that to overpass this problem the ONLY solution is to raise ping assist !!! Let me explain... previously with duma os routers we had no problem at all because when a friend tried to join you then it was making them flip on the same dedis as you so you can communicate with your party (was playing on PS4 at that time and we were having dedicated party dedis)... but recently they changed something in Cold war (how we connect with others) and since then the Duma Os routers are not able to do that anymore if friends are not already on same dedis as you... aka now we can see on which dedis we connect in Cold War (via CONNECTION QUALITY option in account/network tab in CW) ... so if it says you are connected to dedis us.northeast.3 and 5... then your friends also have same dedis connected = you will have 1 chance on 2 to connect with them as you both need to be on same exact dedis already so either the 3 or the 5...so if both see 3 and 5 but you on the 3 and friend is on the 5, even if both see 3 and 5, then you won't be able to party. If you connected to 3 and 5 but friend is on 1 and 2 and 6 = you won't be able to party with them at all !!! Also if you hooked to 5 but your friend got 1-3-and 5 but is hooked on 1 or 3 = no party ... but if friend got 1-3-5 but also hooked on 5 = then you can party !!! You can confirm all that by yourselves if you use your brain a lil bit... like set ping assist to only hook on 1 dedis... ask friend to do same and then try to join each other... the only time ya'll be able to join them will be while you both have the same exact dedis hooked !!! In Warzone we still see friends on the geo filter and never have problem connecting with them. Tried making us all enter in Warzone so i can bring them in Cold War... same problem... it's not garanteed that they'll jump on same dedis as you... yes i know it's freaking weird i really taught it would force them to hop on same dedis as we bring them togheter but nope that's sadly not what happen !!! Wait a second it's even worst than that 😛 it does the exact same while on same XR1000 aka friend come at your home with console... you hook friend console on your xr1000 and start your pc or console...then friend start console... same exact shit happens... if you don't have same dedis connected ingame then NO PARTY AT ALL... so you need to restart until you lucky enough to have the same dedis hooked so you'll be able to party with friends !!! But hey that's not all ... we have bandwidth problems with duma os now aka we struggle to get proper bandwidth ingame in COD... to fix that all you can do is restart the game until you get proper bandwidth... so if by chance you get the proper bandwidth but friends can't connect then your friends need to restart their game until they lucky enough to fall on same connected dedis as you ingame so then you'll be able to party with them !!! By raising ping assist you raise the percentage chance you both hook to the same dedis. Playstation 4 PRO still ALWAYS struggle to get proper bandwidth ingame on R1-XR500-XR1000 in Call Of Duty (worst is Cold War) since season 2 of Cold War as before season 2 it was getting full 4100kbps and more !!! REMINDER to thoses who don't know... Call Of Duty proper ingame bandwidth is 4mbps aka 4100kbps and up+ !!! If you don't get 4100kbps and more then it won't play good (shoot first die first ... long searching time to find lobbies... unfair gaming experience...ect) UPNP never worked properly on XR1000... NEVER !!! So still impossible to get more than 1 device in open nat in COD... only on XR1000... no problem on XR500 and R1 on that matter !!! I did thousands of tests to find the problems and solutions... like changing an option then having to reboot everything to confirm changes then trying those changes in game... one option at a time !!! Factory resets of routers...pc...consoles ... trying on other setups aka other lines... ect ect ect !!! Ping Heatmap don't show same results as geo filter... but shows that those who maintain the geo filter don't do their job properly as it is really simple (simple for locations having more than 1 dedis) to confirm if dedis are properly located on the map... how?? simple... by pinging the said game and looking on the map where there's the square boxes... when there is a square box at a location that mean there is more than 1 dedicated server there... so wherever you are on earth... at one location you always supposed to get same ping (can differ by 1-3ms but nothing more) so let's say you are Netduma and are in UK... then you want to properly set geo filter with Cold War... ping cold war in ping heatmap and then see a big square in New Jersey,USA... click on it then you can see all the dedis there with their respectives ping... well they all supposed to have same ping with 1-2-3ms difference but not some dedis at 20ms and some at 45ms and some at 73ms .... they all supposed to have same 20ms range !!! Those that are 45 and 73ms clearly go somewhere further on the map aka the 45ms would be in middle usa and 73ms would be in California !!! WHY DO I TALK ABOUT THAT ??? Simple... because it breaks our gaming experience as we can't properly use geo filter anymore (except with ping assist but ping assist also have flaws)... why?? because if you set your home at a location where there is mislocated dedis then none of your matchs will be the same as you will never play at same ping !!! You think that's not that important ??? AH AH AH let me laugh !!! The only point of buying/using a Duma Os router is to use geo filter so you always play at desired ping on choosed dedis... so let's take me as exemple : I live in Montreal,Qc Canada and i played COD for over 2 decades at same ping than my lines were... i was always playing on Montreal,Qc dedis as it was playing flawlessly at same ping than my line so it resulted in FLAWLESS GAMING EXPERIENCE aka exactly like playing in a Lan party or an MLG competition.... while when we were testing matchs on Ontario dedis or Vancouver or New Jersey dedis then it was at higher ping so it resulted in: Over recoil + shoot first die first scenarios aka not a good gaming experience versus playing on Montreal dedis at same ping than our lines !!! But it's now worst as our Canadian dedis got removed 6 days after BO4 launched...exactly at same time Montreal disapeared from Geo filter map (before that when setting home in Montreal it was staying there but now it moves you away like Montreal doesn't exist anymore) so since then the only closest dedis location is New Jersey... i actually use a 9ms docsis 3.1 line and i ping New Jersey at 18ms to 21ms... resulting in 30ms to 39ms ingame .... so if i do what netduma guys told everybody and i set radius to get new jersey in or if i set home in new jersey (same results) i'll play some matchs at 30ms ingame and some at 70ms ingame ect...because i let new jersey location in my radius and because there is mislocated dedis there with way higher ping ... so my gaming experience fluctuates so bad... resulting in shoot first die first and over recoil !!! Now to fix this stupid geo filter problem... the only WORKING SOLUTION is to use ping assist like it is meant to be used... if your home is at a location where there's mislocated dedis...like in New Jersey... then set home in water to properly use ping assist so it will only allow good ping dedis !!! But since weeks now even ping assist struggle to find the dedis !!! Also if you ALLOW a dedis it will almost never pop aka like if you denied it instead of allowing it... it's like that since over a year now... the more dedis you allow the longer it will take to find matchs... so i don't allow them anymore !!! By starting hundreds times COD again and again to manually ping every dedis in Americas i found a brand new Call Of Duty dedicated server showing near new jersey and new york... run by AMAZON AWS... at 2-3ms more than my line... meaning it's the closest dedis available right now in COD for us here in Montreal,Qc Canada... but it never show up in Ping Heatmap and extremely rarely shows up in COD... i had to factory reset multiple times since i found it and i didn't took time to ping them all manually until i find it again ... and since like i explained about allowing dedis... yep you got that right... i allowed it so it never poped up while searching matchs (while it was allowed until factory reset). If you start the same game multiple times in a row you can clearly see that some always show up but a lot are not always showing up even if they really are there in real world aka they are actives !!! I really miss the old Netduma original Os where there was no shitty dedis list in it so when you were starting a game... it was really letting the game show every dedis without any problems...then was restricting the game on which dedis you wanted to play (setted via radius or via ping assist when introduced in netduma's os) and boom... everything was perfect... no confusion inside the router os because no dedis list causing problem with real world dedis !!! It's like if duma os now tries to force the game to accept netduma's broken list of dedis instead of letting the game showing its dedis then the duma os could choose which dedis can pass or not !!! Also when you were allowing or denying a dedis... it was effective !!! WIFI upload share excess still always ON even if setted at DISABLED. Lan devices will have it properly disabled so they will not override it aka they will received proper shared bandwidth to both download and upload.... if you don't change any setting... both share excess disabled... test a lan device... then test wifi devices... all with speedtest... upload will not listen to your settings so wifi devices will receive full line's upload bandwidth... while lan won't !!! Exemple just to be extremely precise : My line is 113-34 mbs ... 5 devices hooked so they all have 20%... disable both share excess... slidders at anything but for the exemple set both slidders at 70/70...resluting in 78.4 down and 23.8mb up... shared in 5 so each get approx 15.7mb down and 4.6mb up on Lan but will get around 15.7mb down and the full 34mb UPLOAD... yes even if Lan properly split the bandwidth and still while both share excess are disabled !!! R1 detect PS4 PRO as COMPUTER... XR500 detect PS4 PRO as Playstation... XR1000 detect PS4 PRO as Game console... If you let Pc as Game console then you'll never get the proper bandwidth in Cold War... if you set it as XBOX you will but mostly never the first time so like i said you do need to restart the game over and over until you get the proper 4100+ kbps ingame !!! Tried Ps4 in pc mode and game console mode but same bandwidth problem plus it plays different ingame so Playstations do need to stay as playstation !!! QOS absolutely needs to be set as ALWAYS to work properly !!! If set at auto it will always pop On/Off while playing on either Pc/PS4 Pro... resulting in worst gaming experience possible with almost only shoot first die first scenarios and insane over recoil and No enemies tracking aka aim assist !!! Both share excess needs to be disabled before gaming sessions as it also impact the overall setup... resulting in shoot first die first and over recoil and less enemies tracking... but it's less intense than qos at auto instead of at Always !!! Also with Qos at Auto and/or with both share excess enabled we struggle even more to get proper ingame bandwidth !!! Hey that's not the weirdest part yet... here's the weirdest part... if i set download at 70... upload at 93 = i can get proper bandwidth around 4110 kbps... if i raise download aka if i give more bandwidth to the gaming device = impossible to get proper bandwidth !!! Like if i follow what Qos/Auto-Setup suggest me as optimal on my line aka 99/99 ... i'm supposed to have the maximum bandwidth i can get from my line... but NEVER i will get the proper ingame bandwidth even if every devices do have more than 4mbs on both download/upload !!! Talking about that Auto-Setup tool... it's broken and it's not reacting/giving same result on different routers even if on same duma os versions !!! Xr1000 i have every alpha firmwares and public firmwares and since auto tune tool was added it always differ... either upload is broken or download and we even had firmwares with both broken !!! How can i confirm it's broken... like i told you... your line stays the same and only have lil fluctuations... so a proper tool will always tell you the same results... like speedtest... your line is 432mbps with wind on its back so it always supposed to give you same results with minor fluctuations.... but it can't be like one day you have 432mbs but next day you have 1789mbs and next day 27mbs ect... you always around 432mbs right !?! So auto tune and stress test in connection benchmark should always give same approx results... well on same line i've passed from A+ A+ -D to tripple A+ because Download under stress was sky high in +50ms at whatever slidder setting... while ping and upload where around 10ms and 25ms... then new firmware so full factory reset and upgrade and setup... then boom tripple A+ as even download was under 20ms !!! Changing firmware again to confirm difference and boom same sky high results... back to latest firmware and boom tripple A+ !!! But i don't take that as granted yet... i run 3 different duma os routers and friends also do so every router actually give different results on same lines same settings ect... so not only the firmwares do differ results... but also the router you use !!! I tested on multiple lines and the optimal one is ftth 0-1ms 1.5gbps/1gbps ... believe it or not the optical fiber was sky high in 100ms... changing firmwares does the same as on my line and bringed back the results to tripple A+ around 3ms ping/download/upload !!! On actual .52 firmware it gives same result as on docsis 3.1 line aka ping and upload under stress are normal around the line's base ping, but download is way higher !!! The XR500 on that ftth line with the latest beta is giving more decent results also for download so tripple A+ as download strangely don't raise higher than 10ms !!! I even already told Fraser in a post that the benchmark tool was the first best version ever when it came on .52 ... even if download still is higher than supposed it's way better than +50ms and the gaming experience is way better !!! So by simply testing different firmwares we can see different results and then we're able to know what still is deffective... and like i already said... if your line is lets say 10ms... then under stress it is supposed to be around that 10ms... differing by some ms is aright but not supposed to have huge differences like that !!! My line is 10ms and with some benchmark tool versions (different versions on different firmwares) my download was around 10ms but upload was +60ms... on other firmware the download is +50ms but upload is 10ms like my line's ping. Another one gives me both down an up higher than 50ms while ping still always around 10ms. Then on .52 the download is at around 20ms and upload is 6ms aka lower than my line's 10ms ping ... meaning duma os really work on that ''upload''part and do lower your ping as for the first time ever and only on XR1000 with .52 firmware !!! To cancel any confusion... i use a modem (Technicolor TC4400-AM docsis 3.1) and always have same exact ip (except if i force it to change but i never do that for testing stability) i also use same exact dns... yes only 1 for optimal stability and to always get same flawless experience (anyways xr500 can't deal with more than 1 dns anymore since so many months now so i don't bother with that anymore on any duma os router i touch... it might show them all once or twice but they'll vanish and you'll endup stuck on just one of the 3 dns and from that moment your gaming experience will suffer !!! ipleak.net to test dns ) your isp will only force a dns switch if a problem occur or for maintenance... but even then it takes micro seconds and it's rare that it happens... while duma os seems to force switching of dns for reasons that i ignore... yep i'm also ignorant on some things 😛 ah ah ah so by using only the best dns possible from my isp i always have the best gaming experience i can get on my line based on dns aspect at least... that remove things to look at when lag/spikes/jitter occur in games as switching dns would also cause these problems !!! I always game on Lan CAT8 cables and test things on same devices with same options ect... no updates are made while testing things to prevent drastic changes resulting in false results !!! I look for updates on a daily basis so everything is always up to date !!! When i test on another setups i test with their equipment but also with mine (routers and cables) to confirm results are the same !!! I do hundreds of test on every little things like on every single options in duma os... at least the basic functions and options i use daily aka like i never tested popup blockers or hybrid vpn as i don't use/need that !!! I actually run R1-XR500 on latest duma os 3 betas and XR1000 on latest public .52 firmware as i strangely don't get betas for xr1000 even if i'm an alpha tester... but some people that are not even duma os insiders had received .53 and .54 betas in last weeks...!!! If i test a setup with an AIO i test normaly as dhcp, i test bridge mode if there is an option, i test DMZ and i also test Advanced DMZ !!! We can't use the result of QoS Auto-Setup tool to set our lines as it won't give us the best gaming experience ... like i said... on ftth it says both at 100% and on docsis 3.1 it says both at 99% (was giving lower results on previous firmwares) but in both cases it won't play good at all !!! The gaming experience becomes unfair !!! If i lower download at 70... let upload at 99 then i don't die as quick as at 99 down but i have so much recoil and lot of bullets don't register or simply shoot and disapear !!! Now if i lower my upload at 93... so 70 down and 93 up... then the gaming experience becomes way better... we have a chance to react when getting shot at and there's less over recoil and every bullets do register... also it takes 1 to 3 bullet max to kill enemies (mostly 1-2 bullets) while with higher settings it takes over 4 bullets to kill anyone if you lucky enough for all bullets registering 😛 !!! Same happen if you drop upload to 70 so 70/70... except every bullets do register and none disapear but it's like if our bullets are sponge bullets while enemies use real metal bullets... so you need so many bullets to kill them while they need 1 or 2 bullets max to kill you !!! When share excess are enabled it's a mix of those problems... it will never react the same... sometimes you'll be able to react when getting shot at but sometimes not... not talking about getting an headshot by a sniper ... same for bullets you shoot... sometimes they all register flawlessly and sometimes a complete mag will land on the enemy but he won't die and he'll shot your left foot and boom you're dead 😛 ah ah ah... or ya'll shoot a mag with almost no recoil then the next bullets will have huge over recoil. Last thing to XR1000 users : WARNING: You can setup xr1000 via lan like other duma os routers but you'll always have even more problems... XR1000 absolutely needs to be setup via Nighthawk app... only the basic setup (admin/password security questions and it's all... i don't recommend changing wifi names there as it caused a lot of problems)... once done you reboot via nighthawk app and reboot device or power it off then once xr1000 have rebooted you can use pc via lan to do full setup !!! You absolutely need the xr1000 being connected to internet when adding devices or touching QoS options just like you absolutely need internet via nighthawk app to do initial setup !!! If you can't get internet while in initial setup in nighthawk app...like after you hooked on the xr1000 default wifi network as it's the first step... it's because you didn't factory reset your modem/AIO(yes even if your ip don't change) so just do a factory reset of modem/aio... no need to reset xr1000 again... just keep the nighthawk app open until all lights are up on the modem/aio after the factory reset... then hit detect again or if not present just go back on the app to start the detection process again... you will then have internet ... just don't forget once you'll have reboot the xr1000 after initial setup, to go back in modem/aio to set things up before doing the xr1000 full setup things like allowing only one ip adress on aio for xr1000 and setting it in Bridge (if available) or in DMZ or Advanced DMZ (but results might not be optimal on advanced dmz vs dmz depending i suppose on the firmware and/or model of aio you have) disable wifi on aio and disable upnp on aio as you'll run both via XR1000 instead and you want to prevent double nat ect... then reboot modem/aio... now you can do full Duma Os setup !!! Qos needs to be at Always if you want traffic prioritisation to work !!! For optimal performance/stability... and surely depending on how far you are from the dedis... both share excess need to be disabled before gaming and just enable them back after gaming so you'll enjoy more of your bandwidth !!! Pc needs to be set as XBOX if you play COD... Playstations and xbox are both supposed to be set exactly as they are aka playstation or xbox but NOT as game consoles !!! When you change type for the first time and applied it, wait less than 20 seconds and you'll see the icon changing in front of your eyes to game console, just set it back to either playstation or xbox and apply, now it will stay like you setted it !!!Bandwidth allocation needs to be set as DEVICES and not as apps !!! Always do a page refresh after changing an option.. to first confirm that the change you made apllied and second because they did set an extremely low timer on admin identification so we always need to re confirm we the admin after every 1minute except if you refresh the page before the timer ends... so everytime you refresh the page it restart that login timer !!! If you want to see the real tickrate while you game you need to manage duma os via a wifi device like a phone web browser in pc mode . If you look via Lan while you play it will falsely tell you it runs at 60hz tickrate while it actually runs higher than that !!! It's a Lan limitation duma os have on Lan while this limitation is not present via wifi !!! It feels better and becomes more reactive once you open duma os via a wifi device while you start gaming or when you suddently remember you didn't opened it yet 😛 ah ah ah... it's like if you're telling duma os ''hey homie you can go higher so do it'' and that's what he do !!! Also if long waiting time to search matchs but your searching bar clearly state at wich ping it search... you might open duma os via wifi and if already open then do a refresh to trigger the authentification so it then will reload the page properly... it's like a wake up shaking call to the router and usually help !!! If you only see ''searching a match'' without ping number then it means you're not connected to any dedis... in Cold War in settings network/account, Network Quality or Connection Quality 😛 scroll down and you should see no dedis hooked. If there is some dedis... close game and devices, reboot router and go look the dedis you hooked on...now search matchs !!! Also raising a lil bit ping assist will help you find matchs faster because more dedis will hook but it also will raise your ingame ping so you'll have to test by yourselves to find best ping assist setting !!! For ping assist you can use the heatmap... in fact that's the only use of that tool... select every cod one after the other... compare the 2 best pings you get on every COD and add 2-3ms to the highest of your 2 bests... like if my 2 bests are 20ms and 21ms inmodern warfare but 18-22ms in cold war and 19-23 in Warzone... then your highest of the 2 lowest is 23ms so add 2-3ms so you can set ping assist to 25ms 26ms !!! Then you can start Cold War and confirm the number of dedis that have hooked... and then keep that ping assist setting or change it again then restart cold war ect...!!! Same goes if friends running duma os can't join you or vice versa... then raising both ping assist by lil adjustments until you find a sweet spot that mostly let you party with your friends !!! You also need to know the approx ping of your friends if can't connect with them as ping assist will block them if they're higher pings... and if it's the case... like you have a friend with 100ms ping and you both play Cold War... we can't see friends anymore on geo filter in Cold war only so you would need to set your ping assist based on friends ping aka 100ms !!! And don't think you smart enough so once your friend join in you lower ping assist... because as soon as one of you will get a disconnect from a dedis then it will brake the lobby or kick either you or friend out of the lobby... if you do lower it then you'll just need to raise it again if problems occur so your friend will be once again able to join you !!! I discovered all that recently as they implemented that connection quality option in Cold War like 2-3 weeks ago only and i was freaking tired of having to restart game dozens of times and having to make friends doing the same also as the huge problem of getting proper ingame bandwidth which added to the ''you're not on the same exact dedis as your friend so you can't play with them'' problem = RAGING IN OUR HEARTS because we loose so much hours just to connect with friends or to have proper ingame bandwidth so we can't have a good time enjoying our games with our friends !!! Add to that the insane delay finding matchs when your setup have problems you're not aware yet so game can't find lobbies like it should or like it does when everything runs perfect... making some friends not wanting to play with us anymore because it's more waiting time than gaming time... even friends who played with us for years without any major problems like that are annoyed as fuck and are trying to force us to get rid of our premium costy routers because they have none of these problems while simply running isp's routers we have for free... Hope to get new ''better working'' firmware soon team Netduma... i still love you guys even if duma os is not even close to be performing like original Netduma Os.... yet !!! Take care... Peeeaace !!!
  11. Aright... first you plug the cable into xr500 WAN port... then the other side on Bell LAN1... plug your pc in lan1 of the xr500... go in web browser... ( type routerlogin.com to access XR500 or 192.168.2.1 to enter Bell as you already know 😛 ) first go on Bell 192.168.2.1 and factory reset it (if internet don't work after it reboots it's not alarming but simply indicate a problem with the hh3000 so just do another factory reset by holding the button on the right side of hh3000 for like 20 some seconds (just look at the display on the hh3000 until it says you can release after the factory reset counter drop to zero aka around 20 seconds holding that reset button) then it should work and if you have a mess on the hh3000 display saying internet is not configured then just enter 192.168.2.1 and set bell with your ppp0e credentials aka B1..... and password and then the line will work oh and if you also have the gaming package 1,5\1gbps your password might have change so if that happen just call them and they'll give you the new password)... when it's back On you disable wifi... disable upnp... allow only one devices address (will be the ip adress of the xr500... reserve that ip to the xr500... put xr500 in dmz BUT DON'T ENABLE ADVANCED DMZ... disable dlna, wps option and sip alg ... reboot HH3000 then open another tab and close the HH3000 one... on new tab enter routerlogin.com and do a factory reset (you have to start that factory reset before the hh3000 finish to reboot so if you're not super fast you might simply unplug the lan cable from only behind hh3000 (after you started the HH3000 reboot process) to give you enough time to start the factory reset of xr500 ) then when you start factory reset on xr500 just close the web browser !!! On lower right corner of windows you should have your network icon showing network status (if it's not there just go in windows network and internet settings) reset your network so it will clear old infos and ip's ... restart pc !!! Plug back the cable behind the HH3000 into same LAN1 port !!! Now when windows start wait a lil bit until NEW NETWORK bar appear on right side of screen and select Private network ! Not long after that an automatic command should start a web browser directly on Duma Os setup page...so wait like 1 to 2min max for that to happen and if nothing pop up by itself then just go in a web browser and type routerlogin.net (.net is for first setup and .com is for general usage) and you'll start the basic setup of Duma Os. Normaly if you did everything like i said it will automatically detect a ppp0e line and ask you for your ppp0e creds (b1 code from Bell and password) if not you'll have to select manual installation then select ppp0e and then enter your bell credentials ! Do change the LOGIN password for the XR500 but don't change anything else like wifi (very important) name or password... just next next next and no need to register with netgear at last step... just close the web browser at that point !!! Open the same or another browser (because if the auto install script did start it start with EDGE so after the initial setup you can use whatever browser you want) and this time type routerlogin.com ... go in internet settings and under your ppp0e credentials you'll see Connection Mode being set as Dial On Demand... set that to ALWAYS (very important if you don't want to manually recconnect internet everytime a drop occurs or an ip lease change ect ect ect) then you go on Wan setup : If you have 2 or more devices playing simultaneously (togheter or not) like in COD and want them both Full Open ingame then set NAT at OPEN... if not then let it at secured. Should Disable sip alg except if you reaaaally need it !!! Now go in LAN : change the ip adress to something you like but just the two last part of ip like 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.72.5 so only the last two part you want to change and the last part don't use the same end like the modem use and\or anything lower like example: modem bell is 192.168.2.1 so don't use 1 for the xr500 as you want to prevent problems so choose from .2 and up ! Now Starting IP adress and Ending IP adress you have to change both last parts... so if you changed ip adress to 192.168.72.5 then change Starting adresses to .6 and up and Ending IP adresses to fit the number of devices you hook to that router... like if you have 25 devices to hook then your starting can be let's say 192.168.72.54 and you add your 25 devices so Ending IP adresses would be 192.168.72.79 and up if you want to have open waiting ports for when another device will want to hook on your setup... or like me set it straight and when needed just add number of devices you want to the Ending IP adresses so that will give internet access to these new devices !!! APPLY !!! When it comes back reserve an adress to your pc and Apply again !!! Now you can go set WIFI !!! We use manual channels iinstead of auto because way less connection problems 😛 so 6 and up for 2.4g and 153 for 5ghz or try by yourself to see wich channel performs better as for output quality and efficiency while streaming 4k netflix !!! If there's not a lot of wifi networks around you or live in a huuuuge house then you should disable 20\40hz co-existence ! We never use the guest network so we untick both Enable SSID broadcast. Administration : firmware update- disable auto-update. We don't plug USB hard drive on the XR routers so we disable media server and readyshare... if you use that then set them as you want ! Advanced Settings Advanced Wireless : We Disable Enable wmm on 5ghz only (because i find overall of xr500 is better when 5ghz WMM is Disabled). We also disable Pin access because we don't use that so it's up to you ! Then in Led Control Settings we disable blinking lights but also is subjective ! Now top right corner of duma os...click the 3dots then Advanced then Timezone and select your proper timezone there (the timezone option in Administration is not working good) but this one does and have more timezone choices ! Reboot XR500 and pc !!! Now it<s time to add devices to xr500 but you need to know... XR500 is Not Stable when playing if you don't do my trick..! The trick consist in using only 1 device on the 5ghz channel to comunicate over internet and then disconnecting that device from internet will push the XR500 to become stable at 120hz tickrate while playing COD and any games except the output for other games might be different than 120hz... like NFS Heat will play at 15hz to 30hz without my trick but will play at 45hz to 60hz with my trick ! So my trick won<t make XR500 push 120hz tickrate if the game is not playing at that tickrate ! My trick will simply make the XR500 play at max tickrate possible and stable vs without my trick !!! Also that<s why i always tell people to use a wifi 2.4g device to manage every Duma Os routers... because there is restrictions on Lan ports while none on wifi so we actually see the REAL OUTPUT via a wifi device like a phone !!! To test that just start playing a game and enter in duma os via a lan pc... take COD Warzone and while in a match your auto ping will show your tickrate and the dedis tickrate... both max at 60hz via Lan !!! Close that PC browser and then log in duma os on a phone (always via web browser and NEVER via apps) and your auto ping will show your real output live while still in same game... it fluctuate like crazy from 60hz to 120hz while you play and it<s like that since day1 of XR500 !!! Then use your tv...connect tv to 5ghz wifi (while NO OTHER DEVICE IS CONNECTED TO 5GHZ and it doesn<t matter how many devices are on the 2.4 ghz ... just NONE on the 5ghz) and enter in netflix (usually it:s fast once already signed in previously 😛 ) just scroll on 2 or 3 preview to see the previews start playing (that:s comunication over internet) then just flip tv back on console~pc your playing on and then disconnect tv from internet via the tv itself ! Now in from 30seconds to 1 minute your tickrates will stay at the highest it can and you'll see way less fluctuations aka more stable !!! At that time you should start tweaking your upload slidder to optimise your setup and yes we optimise while playing to get accurate results !!! Then to test if it really makes a difference... after you adjjusted your upload slidder and auto ping still show stable 120hz via wifi... just close that web browser on phone and open a web broswer via Lan device and enter Duma Os... you'll see it at 60hz still !!! Close that browser and go back on a wifi browser...duma os and should be at 120hz still stable !!! Then since you want to confirm if it makes a difference... start a match and play for like a minute then connect your tv on internet 5ghz...no need to do anything else... look duma os auto ping stats and boom it's unstable again so continue playing and see the difference !!! There is a huge difference even on a 0-1ms ftth gaming line from Bell Canada and it's more perceptible with other types of lines like cable\dsl\vdsl and\or when your ping base is higher !!! DON'T ENABLE IPV6...DON'T TOUCH IPV6...DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IPV6... until someone like me confirm it's now perfectly working and not breaking anything !!! So if youu want to test that you should add every wifi devices on 2.4ghz except for the tv (might work with another device type) and if let's say you have other tvs on setup that might watch netflix youtube ect while you game... then you hook them on 2.4ghz and still only the main tv on the 5ghz that you won't look at while gaming !!! So each time you add a device you should reserve it an ip... so add one and reserve its ip...then add second and reserve ip ect until all added then you apply the reservations (you might want to apply after adding 4-5 devices then add more then apply again then add more ect) Once all your setup devices are hooked and ips reserved... Reboot XR500 !!! You should then power off every devices hooked except pc to finish last steps... Devices manager : Make sure every devices have proper icon and consoles\pc should all be set as either PLAYSTATION or XBOX but not as game consoles even if we set prio and geo filter as game consoles... if you don't game on pc and don't need to prioritize its traffic then leave pc as PC or as Game console !!! Qos: top left...burger icon... set bandwidth... enter proper bandwidth for both upload\download and apply. If already done via initial setup so already showing proper bandwidths... change it anyways as it might show you something but the real output is not correlating this infos aka like a speedtest not giving same bandwidth as shown in Qos !!! Once applied just refresh page and on right side of slidders you'll see proper bandwidths. Now go on Bandwidth Allocation... click on burger icon and set it at DEVICES instead of apps... now untick both share excess and it auto save when you tick\untick them... once both are disabled refresh the page !!! Now you'll see your devices around that ring instead of apps types .... that mean changes have been properly applied ! Now down there in Traffic Prioritization... disable the only one there aka duma os classified games... add your gaming consoles\pc\devices as Gaming Consoles !!! Refresh page and confirm they all there as gaming consoles !!! If you also play on a pc and there is no Gaming Consoles options it's because the pc device type in devices manager is set as pc... so set pc as xbox instead then go add it back in Traffic Prio as Game Consoles... refresh page and confirm !!! Now up there in Congestion Control... set that to Always... put both slidders at below 9 number... you can simply type the number on right side of slidders instead of dragging slidders approx.... so set both at like 6... refresh page... now set it at auto... refresh page... now set both slidders at 70\70 and put in Always mode... refresh page !!! All done so last step... Geo filter: Set home location in water and drop radius to lowest aka 111km... refresh page.... depending on your ping and location you have to set auto ping... i run 2 setups... one is bell 0-1ms and other is cable 10ms... on 10ms line from Montreal,Qc the best i get is 18ms to 21ms on closest COD dedis aka Providence,Rhodes Islands and New Jersey... so i set my auto ping at 23ms on both setup !!! If we would only play on bell we could drop auto ping to 15ms !!! So go a bit higher but not by that much and after a couple of matches you should know what is best dedis ping for you on your setup and then lower auto ping to better fit the type of dedis you want to play on !!! You now can test that via Ping Heatmap... ping Modern Warfare as it's the most accurate for us in Americas... ping 2-3 times in a row and take the best ping you get... add couple of ms to it and voilà it's your perfect auto ping setting !!! Anyways if you want to adjust and\or test you always can change those settings !!! Now just add gaming devices up there as Choose Manually and then Filtering !!! Once they all added just refresh page...!!! Top right...burger icon...REBOOT XR500 !!! Power off pc !!! Once XR500 is rebooted you can start every devices you want and start enjoying your gaming !!! As of right now if you did everything... your XR500 is perfect and ready to go... i always disable both share excess before every gaming sessions... i disable them then reboot Duma Os routers and start playing.... when gaming is done i re enable both share excess !!! You can play while both share excess are enabled but it will never be flawlessly stable like when disabled so it's up to you !!! Also you shhould test gaming while in Always mode vs while in Auto Mode but without changing slidders... that mean you have to stabilise your xr500 to handle stable 120hz tickrate...then adjust upload slidder until bullets perfectly register.like alllllways 😛 ... don't put download higher than 70 so you can lower it but not go higher...and no need to do that seriously so let download at 70... except if your line really struggle then you might try to lower download !!! Always higher or lower by +2 -2 ...!!! When insanely optimised... then you can try to switch qos in auto mode vs always mode.... but for best accurate results... when you change that qos mode... you should always reboot router before testing it !!! Please note that rebooting Duma Os routers also UPDATE CLOUD so it's the OPTIMAL PRACTICE to do before gaming sessions !!! Don't forget you now know how to stabilise the XR500 and you now also know how to PROPERLY setup your setup !!! So don't forget you always have to re-do my optimisation trick to stabilise xr500 before every gaming session except if you didn't rebooted\hook a 5ghz wifi device on xr500 like you took a break to eat and shits then get back to gaming...then it should still be stable..! But if you stop playing...put back both share excess... enjoyed netflix on 5ghz tv... then you'll need to re-do my trick !!! My trick is doable so easily and takes like 20seconds to do... you just need to enter in the game you want to play... hook tv...make it communicate...disconnect tv... start gaming !!! Just always confirm via wifi device used to manage Duma Os... that you are stable at highest tickrate possible !!! If for whatever reason it destabilise or it didn't work first shot... just do it again !!! You might have to adjust Upload slidder on a daily basis but most likely it will be like a +2 or +4 difference on the upload slidder... might be a bigger difference when changing firmware on router and or depending on game's download updates like some updates modify huge things that impact your experience... also possible isp updates !!! So if bullets are not registering properly... make sure it's still tickrate stable...then adjust upload slidder !!! We also can set xr500 in simple dhcp with hh3000 but it's not performing good compared to when in ppp0e... so that's why we opt for ppp0e on duma os routers on Bell lines... on cable line it's dhcp but on previous vdsl2 fttn i was also in ppp0e because way better like that !!! Ppp0e makes you bypass the hh3000 by giving 100% access to Duma Os !!! Enjoy... take care... Peeeaace !!! DMC51450
  12. Nothing to change in Wan except if you are making voip calls or video calls and you have problems like interferences\lag\calls cut ect or if your wifi devices don't receive notifications like emails ect... for both the solution is to Disable SIP ALG !!! But as right now there is no problem on theses sides with xr1000 while on xr500 we have to disable it !!! Second thing is NAT... on xr500 if you have 2 consoles \ pc playing simultaneously and you want them both full open then the solution is to set Nat at OPEN ... but it's not working on xr1000 so let it at SECURED !!! For trafic prio like i told you... your playstation 4\5 should appear as Playstation in Devices Manager... if not just change it to Playstation... then in qos devices prio... you disable classified thing... you add a new device... select your Ps5 or any console you're adding... select game consoles (even if it's a PC)... select GAMING\VOICE (Only on XR1000 as of right now)... it's done !!! And like i told ya... 70\70... enter in any COD... open a web browser on a wifi device and go in duma os qos... start playing and raise by +2 your upload until every bullets perfectly register and normaly when that happen you also able to react when you get shot so you have a chance to stay alive instead of never having a chance as soon as 1 bullet hit ya !!! max is 98... never 100... if you raise till 98 and see no change then go down... !!! Ps: If you use pppoe... set Connection Mode (under your pppoe creds) at ALWAYS !!! I always disable both share excess before my gaming sessions ... it's really the only way to really maximise the potential of Duma Os !!! It stays way more stable and your tuning is more powerful that way... because when share excess is enabled... it share bandwidth everytime a device access internet, even if in background... so everytime the router try to give it the more bandwidth as it can so that impact the overall stability of your setup !!! When share excess are disabled the router just share equally and the left over of your bandwidth is really left aside so the real ''Less congestion'' on your setup happen !!! My pleasure homie !!! Take care... Peeeaace !!! DMC
  13. Homie there is a new firmware since yesterday aka .52 and they finally fixed the major problem of ''connection benchmark'' (NETDUMA: it's the first time since DumaOs 3.0 that the Connection Benchmark (especially the stress test) properly work on any Duma Os router so you guys should see the change on this firmware to properly fix these connection benchmarks problems we face since day 1 of connection benchmark release into duma os 3.0 ....and then apply this one to every other duma os firmwares like URGENT !!!) my false results for last months were telling me my line was struggling at +50ms while my line is 10ms and lower .... since yesterday i'm under 10ms while stress test and from begin to end of the test, while until yesterday the upload was spiking at 100ms first then was dropping between 10 and 20ms !!! Also my xr500 on same line still spike as today and my download still pretend being over 50ms while stress...but switching on xr1000 with yesterday's new firmware aka .52 all 3 stress tests are under 10ms from start to finish !!! As for you homie... listen to this as i won't repeat... you can't setup your XR1000 via pc or it will never work properly !!! Only like that on XR1000 and since day 1 i got it aka months before public release !!! So only for the XR1000 you absolutely need to use a wireless device with the netgear nighthawk app just to do the initial setup... here's the steps i do: firrst you should go download the .52 firmware on netgear's site and then update the xr1000 via WIRED device like pc\laptop... impossible to tftp the xr1000 sadly so just update it via duma os control panel... let the xr1000 reboot by itself... then, still via wired pc... (also possible via wireless for that part) go in duma os advanced settings to start a factory reset of duma os, as soon as you see the lights closing on the xr1000 you should rapidly reset pc internet connection and erase cookies from web browser then shut pc off... like it all need to be done before the xr1000 fully reboot. So now your pc is off and your xr1000 have rebooted... factory reset the modem\aio to prevent a lot of conflicts between modem and xr1000... wait till modem lights are all on and steady... meanwhile you should start nighthawk app on wireless device (i use my phone) start the basic instal with it... ''WARNING'' don't change wifi name or password while in the first setup, NEVER !!! Just change the admin and password credentials but not the wifi creds !!! Once you select the wifi, entered admin and password, let wifi infos untouched, then it will start enabling the shitty forced anti-virus but it won't activate it (it needs to be enabled only and via the app is the only way to properly enabling it so that's why we have to use the nighthawk app just for the basic setup) then the instal will finish and ya'll be back normaly in the nighthawk app... from there you just go on setttings and select Reboot... once the reboot has started you close the app and power off that wifi device !!! So now your xr1000 have rebooted... just start wired pc and go on 192.168.1.1 first to enter into duma os... then change wifi creds and lan adress aka your xr1000 adress (not forced but it help) then reserve ip addresses to pc... start and connect every devices you have but 1 by 1 only...and name them properly and reserve them an ip... at least do the devices you have with you... you want to do every devices that hook to router before going further... if you can't add them all then i'll tell you soon what to do when you'll add another device later on !!! Aright so you changed wifi creds and added every devices to your setup plus you reserved them individual ip's .... now go on device manager... change the type of devices accordingly to what the device is... except for pc... pc NEED TO BE SET AS XBOX !!! Normally pc is detected as pc...change it to xbox then apply then refresh webpage... the pc will automatically change to consoles... it's not good we don't want that but it's normal... just change it again for xbox then apply and refresh webpage... not it should stay as xbox with a controller as logo !!! Once they all properly set... go down on that page and disable DUMA OS CLASSIFIED GAMES... add your consoles\pc\devices that you want to prioritize...one by one and as consoles (WARNING WARNING WARNING --- Only on the xr1000 we now have more options in device prioritization but they all broken... the one and only you can use as right now is GAMING\VOICE and DON'T TICK WAN !!!) it's broken as fuck and seems that they mixed wireless into device prio so that cause so many problems like you can't join any of your friends ect !!! Refresh the webpage... then press on RESET DISTRIBUTION... once it's done just refresh webpage... now click on the burger logo beside Bandwidth Allocation... click on DEVICES instead of apps... NEVER USE APPS...NEVER !!! Once you selected Devices you close that burger icon and you want to press on UPDATE DISTRIBUTION which will be on download... once it's done click on Upload and also UPDATE DISTRIBUTION... so it result in you apply new distribution to both download and upload... when both update distribution are done you then can refresh webpage and go check to confirm your settings are applied properly (they'll stay exactly as you set them, if they don't that's most likely because you took too much time so the xr1000 will need a confirmation that you are the admin still... if that happen just re do the exact steps but a bit faster ) now upper left of that qos page... Congestion Control burger logo... select SET BANDWIDTH SPEEDS and enter the bandwidth of your line... aka download and upload ''speed''(it's not speed it's bandwidth... speeed is latency aka ms !!!) then Apply and close that shit... refresh webpage... now you can confirm your bandwidth you just set by looking at right side of those 2 slidders... if these numbers ain't the numbers you just set then you didn't apply so re do it... if it's ok then next step !!! Set congestion control at ALWAYS... then set both slidders at under 10 so 1 to 9... you'll get a warning saying you set slidders under recommended bla bla bla... just tick the DO NOT SHOW case... now you're on always and both slidders are under 10... just select AUTO-ENABLE... it will pop the same warning... close it... then select NEVER... you'll also have a warning... but now you passed every warning there and have properly enabled the qos... just select AUTO-ENABLE or ALWAYS depending on what you prefer !!! Now last thing ... set both slidders at 70 so 70/70 !!! Refresh webpage !!! Now qos is fully done... go on Geofilter and set your home closer as you can from your real world location... set radius to lowest aka 111km... set ping assist to just a couple more ms than your lowest dedis ping.... you can use ping heatmap to ping the dedis on the game you play and then let's say your 2 lowest pings are 19ms and 21ms... then set your ping assist to 23ms or 24ms !!! Make sure you add your console upthere on top of geofilter page... set it at CHOOSE MANUALLY and FILTERING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It won't be available if your device type is not in consoles so that's why i said if you play on a pc you need to set it as xbox and not consoles or pc (the logo of that device)so if that's the case then just change the device's icon in devices manager to xbox or playstation... for pc i strongly recommend xbox and not playstashit !!! Since you have a ps5 then it should be set as playstation !!! So you just added your console to geo filter !!! Reboot xr1000 and now you can start enjoying it without any major problems !!! Here's how to optimise your setup... while you play you should use a wifi device to manage your duma os... i use and reccomend phone... never use the nighthawk app again except for next firmware after a factory reset... instead to manage duma os you want to use a web browser on a wifi device (because no restrictions on wifi but so many on lan so that impact the real stats) so while you play... you want to be on qos page and chnge the slidders by increments/decrements of 2 so +2 -2 .... you almost never have to touch the download side but if you have to it should be for lowering it because download bandwidth is almost always higher than upload. The optimal is to achieve a perfect balance between download and upload so that result in the best compression possible (like a motor need perfect ratio between gaz and air) so on internet lines you want to play with the upload to elevate it a bit !!! So download should stay at 70 and you should raise the upload by +2...then refresh the webpage (if changes you just made disappear it's because you took too much time between changes so xr1000 needs authentification again... just refresh and re enter latest settings then apply and refresh page again to confirm the changes are applied) when changes are properly applied you should test for seconds to a minute and raising it again until every bullets hits and register like you on steroids 😛 ah ah ah The max you can bring the upload is 98... don't go higher !!! If you add another +2 and then bullets registers a bit less then try another +2 ... if still not properly registering then lower by -4 since it was your last best spot... don't forget to refresh webpage to confirm any changes you made... bullets should be back as ultra registering... at that exact spot you should let it and enjoy your gaming session !!! Please note that really often... changes are made via downloads\updates and\or via SILENT updates in background of either duma os or the games... also from your isp... so you can be lucky and playing for a week at same exact slidders settings but then boom it plays like shit again... just re-calibrate aka re optimise your slidders until you find the new sweet spot !!! Still by increments\decrements of +2 -2 !!! Last thing... if you add new devices... either you add a bunch of devices or 1 by 1 at different times.... you have to reserve an ip adress to every devices... on any duma os router... ALWAYS !!! After reserving ip's you go on qos... RESET DISTRIBUTION then right after you UPDATE DISTRIBUTION ON BOTH DOWNLOAD AND UPLOAD then you refresh the webpage... once done you reboot the router and then you can use your setup properly !!! Same if you remove a device... reset distribution and apply update distribution to both then reboot router !!! That will make sure the router equally divide the bandwidth to the proper number of devices hooked to it !!! DON'T ACTIVATE\ENABLE IPV6... DON'T TOUCH IT AT ALL UNTIL SOMEONE LIKE ME PROPERLY CONFIRM IT'S NOW PERFECTLY WORKING... it's been broken for months now and it takes a bit of time to re factory and re-do every setttings... you can if you properly understand everything i'm saying and if you have a big brain and free time to spare on fixing things 😛 !!! If you enable ipv6 and it doesn't properly work...disable it,,, then go in qos and disable qos via the burger icon top left of qos page... once done just refresh the page... 2 things can happen... router is broken so nothing will show after the page reloads and so ya'll see the qos is not disbled... if that's the case... just reboot router and then enter in qos and go disabling it again and refresh webpage !!! The other outcomes and the desired one... also what would happen if the first time the qos did not disble properly so you would reboot router and go back into qos... disable it then refresh the page and BOOM a WARNING message saying that QOS is disabled.... THAT'S WHAT WE WANT... just reboot the router again... reboot devices also like the wired pc ect !!! Once rebooted go back in qos and enable it... refresh the webpage and voilà no more warning saying qos is disabled... now reboot for the last time and then you'll be able to enjoy your setup as it will have fixed the qos !!! LAST IMPORTANT THING... i do that everyday and be reccomendiing it for years to everybody... including here in the duma army... i ALWAYS reboot router before gaming sessions aka once a day at least !!! First reason is to prevent congestions and left overs problems ect... but NOW there's an even more important reason... they secretely added an auto cloud update while the router boot.... so by just rebooting your router before gaming session you free it from the jobs it was holding... and you update the cloud at same time so you'll always have the proper and latest dedicated servers list from the netduma cloud (and if you don't know our gaming sessions extremely depends on their so broken cloud) and if midgame you feel the gameplay have suddenly changed without you changing slidders ect... or if the game specifically tells you that an update needs to restart the game or whatever some in thoses lines... then just power off your console and reboot your router to make sure changes are been properly applied everywhere... then start playing again... if from there your bullets are not registering like before... just optimise your setup via the upload slidder like i told ya !!! ps: if you have factory your modem\aio... depending on what it is... like modem you have nothing to do... but aio (modem and wifi combo from isp's) you might need to properly set it too (like if you have creds to enter it or if it's a pppoe line !!! Also if your line is pppoe the best is to set xr as pppoe so it will bypass the aio(making the aio work as a passtrough) but you first need to enter the aio to disbled wifi... then you switch to the xr and you then set xr as pppoe with your isp credentials !!! And factory reset the aio\modem is because strangely... only on xr1000... sometimes you can't find internet at all while initial setup... so that's when you absolutely need to factory reset the modem\aio so you can finish the initial setup via that crappy nighthawk app !!! I personally always factory reset it when switching routers or updating\downgrading firmwares (i have R1...some xr500's...xr1000) so there is no conflict into that modem\aio and the router i use !!! Sorry it was long but i need to make sure everything is clear and understandable for everyones who will read so they also can fix their routers !!! That setup technique is working the same on any and every duma os routers except that only xr1000 need the initial setup via nighthawk app !!! For other duma os routers it's the same steps but via wired pc and with them you still never change wifi creds... you only change admin and passord to enter the router but not wifi settings... also the speedtest will never apply properly even if it shows your proper actual bandwhidth so no need to do it again and again until proper speed shows... you'll still need to change it in qos !!! Take care... enjoy your gaming sessions while the holidays guys... Peeeaace !!! DMC
  14. Oh and A2AD....C2C7 with ip 173.199.65.some is Montreal,Qc while A4AD....C2C7 with ip 173.199.67.some is London,Uk So as you can see they almost look identical but are 2 different continent !!! Ok enough 😛... and sorry again for having to put that much infos... at least you can see that someone not getting paid is putting that much hours and efforts to sort out the cloud stuff for ya !!! 👽🍻✌
