@Netduma Fraser Fraser this issue is still ongoing, should I try any troubleshooting steps at this point?
-
To me it’s the opposite, ingame it’s shooting up to 100ms at times and coming back down to 30ms (that last number itself is higher than the usual 24-26ms I get), and then it doesn’t seem like my player is jumping around, the ingame experience is kind of decent. As I stated before, the Netduma ping shows a completely normal amount of ping compared to usual. It just seems like something that’s happening server-side maybe with the higher traffic, what’s funny though is that I don’t recall seeing something like it before, maybe ever.

You can also turn on the connection meter in Settings/Interface

Hey folks, I’ve been playing MWIII daily only on the Spanish server and today I noticed these servers in particular (only those) are showing irregular ping values on the ingame connection meter. I’m not sure if anybody else has encountered this issue, it has never happened before, but the ingame ping shows regular values and it suddenly starts increasing, eventually coming back all the way down. However the Netduma ping graph shows the regular values. Should I take this as an ingame server problem? (I have every QOS, IPV6 and all other features well configured)

That’s been posted here multiple times, they are fixing it on the next update. It will work sometimes other times it won’t👊🏻

Actually very similar to the lowest French server, that one gives me maybe between 32ms to 36ms. The Spanish server is the same thing, but when I go the PingHeatmap is shows 25ms so I do prioritize that one. I’m only talking about router values here not ingame ping, that one is lower on the madrid server
-
Yes there are many like that in France, I get from 32ms to upwards of 45ms depending on which of those I connect to, the furthest away they are from Portugal the worse is it expectedly

Hey @Zli you talking about Mullhouse in France? I believe I connected to it sometime ago but it hasn’t been showing on the Ping Heat map for a long time

I wanted to comeback to this post to add a little info @Netduma Fraser So after doing a factory reset I realized as I suspected what I thought was the case. Keep in mind I’m only talking about the Oklahoma servers. All these servers specifically seem to have disappeared after I allowed them before I did this reset. Now that I did a factory reset yesterday I am getting them again, so I am just letting them come up. So, in others words, somehow the actions of allowing or denying servers seem to be removing them from the matchmaking process, even though I was only “allowing” them before and at one point I even deleted every server I had saved on the router. Keep in mind that I always check the app for the servers I connect to, and they were all coming from spain for weeks 🇪🇸, none ever showed up as oklahoma after that. I am not sure if this also happened with the R2, but as I said here on this thread before, these servers even with that router come up more sporadically, and the ping values seem to be basically the same as the spanish servers (could be the same, but since you told me they are showing up in different locations i’m not sure) -
