  1. Yeah. I'm not sure that each step/setting is contributing to my success. Like the Wifi 2.4g/5g having the same name. After I reach a week of non-breakage, I may tinker some more with some of the settings to try and determine which ones are crucial. I'll keep you posted.
  2. So if you look at my career posts, you will see that I've always had an issue with the R Apps being very unstable and eventually getting the dreaded "R Apps Not Loaded Yet" error. I had tried every suggestion offered by support, but nothing worked. Even after a factory reset or hard reset, I was lucky to get a full hour of operation before the GUI would crap out. The most recent firmware (3.0.205) only seemed to make things worse. I was lucky if I had enough time to change any settings before things went to hell. Anyhow, I'm super happy to report that I've been up and running without any issues now for almost 48 hours (an all-time record for me since running DumaOS). Here is what I did: 1. factory reset 2. DO NOT separate Wifi 2.4g and 5g (keep them with the same SSID name) 3. Reserve the IP address for every device on your network 4. Turn off every button in Network Settings>WAN>General (the right side of the screen): IPv6, Allow Ping, Port Scan Protection, Syn Flood Protection and Allow Remote Access are all turned off. 5. Turn off IPv6 in Network Settings>LAN>General (the left side of the screen) 6. In System Information>Installed Rapps I am currently running 3 attempts (the default), but tech support suggests raising this to the maximum of 5 attempts if you are have trouble. Anyhow, I hope that helps anyone else having the same struggles as me. Wishing you good gaming.
  3. Here is my complete list, the number in parenthesis is hard-wired by ehternet 5 laptops (2) 2 desktops (2) 3 printers (1) 2 NAS drives (2) 2 downstream routers as APs creating wifi subnets (2) 5 phones 5 tablets 2 watches 6 media players (4) 2 xboxes (2) 5 nintendos (2) 1 PS5 (1) 4 security devices 8 IoTs (1) 2 TVs (1) So 54 total. Plus when friends come over their phones/computers on occasion. Fortunately the devices active at any one time is lower.
  4. I'm attaching two shots, one where the GUI is working and one after it crashed. Also, attached is a screen shot of my network map. I have cat5/6 ran throughout my house so there are several switches involved as well as a couple wifi extenders. I will check the connections on as many as I can. I hope that helps.
  5. I had previously changed the retries to 5 from 3, so that really didn't help. He is the requested screenshot:
  6. Internet connection is unaffected. No consistent errors being generated. It's just the old "This R App is not loaded yet. Please try again in a minute." But no matter how long I wait, or how many times I try, once I get this message the RApp will never load until a reboot.
  7. I was having massive trouble with the R Apps not loading and the GUI becoming unresponsive on my R2 under the old firmware. I updated to .205 today hoping it would lend some stability. After the install I did a factory reset and unplugged for a couple minutes. Unfortunately I still am lucky if I get more than an hour before the RApps and GUI shit the bed and I have to soft reboot. Any thoughts?
  8. Since installing my R2 a few months ago, I've had some odd issues with my IPTV service. At times SoPlayer will load but won't be responsive for about 5 minutes or so. Sometimes, once the SoPlayer app loads, certain channels will not receive a signal. If I PDPU the modem and R2, the issue goes away (for awhile). I have had Adblocker turned off since day one as I found it was preventing HBOMax from running on my Roku. Wondering if anyone else has this issue or knows of the cause.
  9. Thanks. I was able to get everything responding again but continued to have issues with party chat. I think at this point I'll call this experiment a partial success. But the other issues it caused make me think I'll just wait for the next update to the R2 firmware. Hopefully it will solve the RApp loading issues. Thanks again for the help.
  10. After clearing cache and cookies I get a 404 Error, URL not found and a blank white screen.
  11. Uh oh. I tried downgrading the R1 to firmware .6j. It hung up and never reloaded the page. After 15 minutes I unplugged the R1 and attempted a physical reset. When I try to access the UI it only delivers a MISSING JSON RESPONSE error. Any thoughts?
  12. It was 3.0.171-071020. I may try it again after downgrading it this weekend. I'll let you know how it goes.
  13. I updated to the most recent R1 beta firmware version about 3 months ago. I think it was 2.3.1.29, but to be sure I'd have to bring the R1 back online. I know it had the option for polygon geofiltering.
  14. Well it sorta worked. The R2 didn't recognize the R1 (unnamed device) so I set it up as an XBox and reserved the IP address of 192.168.77.201 for it and placed it in the DMZ of the R2. The R1 was still running its own domain of 192.168.88.1 with the XBox and my laptop hardwired to it. I put the XBox in the R1 DMZ. The R2 couldn't see the laptop or XBox on its Device Manager, and didn't recognize traffic on the R1 as triggering QoS, so I had to set it to Always On in the R2. When running speed tests on the laptop and XBox I got maximum throughput as expected based on the Always On/Off settings defined in the R2. Game play on the XBox was fine when playing solo. Occasionally COD CW would revert to showing a Moderate NAT even when XBox Settings tested an Open NAT. Things got ugly when I tried to play with friends. Even with Filtering turned off and the friends whitelisted, we could never get Party Chat to work. I also had trouble keeping the party in tact once Filtering was turned ON. On the positive, a few times the R2 stopped loading R Apps and the R1 geofiltering just kept working. When the R1 stopped loading R Apps, I could do a soft reboot without disrupting traffic on the rest of the R2 network. If there was a simple fix to the Party Chat solution, I might consider this a short-term solution until the next version of firmware for the R2 is released to stabilize R App loading.
