  1. I appreciate it but I have already begun switching my network away from the XR500. Too much frustration and a major lack of sleep. I love the OS but this router has been a headache from day one. This is far easier than trying to troubleshoot it. And with my internet speeds being what they are I really don't need it anymore. Thanks for trying but I can't waste anymore time on this thing.
  2. Over the last few days I have noticed that the XR500 is dropping all wifi and LAN and basically restarting, although power is not lost, anytime someone tries to add a new device to the network. I have done everything I can think of and I'm losing my mind. I have the latest firmware, went back to the old version, have shut off 5G and 2.4 in every combination possible, ran smart connect on and off, multiple resets in conjunction with the firmware changes and still have issues. Currently on the latest firmware but unable to add a basic printer to my network. As soon as printer tries to connect, the router instantly reboots. It seems as if once a device is connected it is good into the future but initial setup is a guaranteed reboot. I have 500mbps fiber connection using the ISP modem bridged. Any help is greatly appreciated.
  3. I can tell you that my DSL speeds were 10 Mbps max (6-8 Mbps real world) with my old service, and with the ISP provided equipment I was getting consistent D's and F's on DSL reports. After the XR500 my bufferbloat was an A or B everytime. Playing COD WW2 was virtually impossible until the XR500 arrived in my house. It really shines when you have limited bandwith in my opinion as the QoS and Traffic Prioritisation are most helpful in these scenarios. I've since been able to to get a 250 Mbps d/u fiber connection and if I don't get A+ across the board something is wrong. The DUMA OS is awesome and the support team here is the biggest reason I made the leap and spent the extra money. You wont be disappointed if you do as well. On a side note- my neighbor across the street is able to access the guest network and receive 8Mbps down in his house 70 yards away on the 2.4Ghz channel. That's insane!!
  4. Having a similar problem where my friend and I cannot connect to each other under strict mode on the geo-filter, although we have both allowed each other. For some reason he shows me in California when I'm in Missouri, yet I see him clearly on my geofilter. I did move my icon/pin to a dedi in Texas for a better ping but I am still within his range anyway. We both have XR500s. We are both rookies and trying to learn this router. Using PS4 playing WW2 If we both remove strict mode we can connect no problem.
