  1. Hi! I have already followed the steps -> https://forum.netduma.com/topic/23410-how-to-open-your-nat-with-the-xr500/ however I can't get the NAT type to open Setup: XR500 V2.3.2.66 No additional ISP Modem. XR500 is directly connected to the internet via PPPoE PlayStation connected via network cable to the XR500 1.) Left everything default, not static IP for the Playstation, PS isn't inside the GEO filter, UPnP enabled, PlayStation shows NAT type 2 -> COD shows moderate 2.) Set a static IP for the PS, Port forwarding for the PS IP of TCP: 80, 443, 1935, 3478-3480 and UDP: 3074, 3478-3479, PlayStation shows NAT type 2 -> COD shows moderate 3.) If I set WAN -> NAT-filter from "Secure" (I guess is default?) to Open I have an open NAT type for 1. and 2. Is 3.) now the way to go or am I mising something? Thanks in advance
  2. Hi, I have exactly the same problem. I am running the router directly with PPPoE connection. Every 2-3 days the internet disconnects, connects again and I get a new IP. Sometimes it also the case that in 10 minutes it disconnects 2-3 times. In the log file I you only see internet disconnected/internet connected. I am running the xr5000 since launch and this was never a problem (guess since the last 1 or 2 fw versions this started to happen) I have already replaced the xr500 with a new one and it's still the same problem. As I thought it's a problem with my ISP, I contacted them and they have already checked everything but couldn't find a problem on their side. I am now running the xr500 in AP mode with my old router before and it's running fine since 2 weeks. Regards, eXi
  3. Hi! Recently my ISP changed the routing so I did a lot of trace routs. I recognized that my ping (this might sound trivial) is from the beginning already 1-2ms higher compared to a few months back. So I did some tests. Reference TP-Link Archer C7 and I used the same cable for PC and laptop. Laptop and PC showed the same behaviour. Is there any setting which can cause such a behaviour? Regards, eXi
  4. Hi! Just wanted to ask if this behaviour is known/by design. Setup: -Turn on the Geo filter and autoping host -Play a game -Once you find the host, pin the ping so that you can see it on the dashboard -Play a different game or another server Expected behaviour: -The ping pinned on the dashboard, automatically changes to the new server -Actual behaviour: -It's still the ping from the first server -When you go into the Geo filter, you can see it's already completly different server Regards, eXi
  5. Hi Fraser, As the XR500 is basically my modem, I guess I still need to add the ports in port forwarding for the static IP of the playstation? Regards, eXi
  6. Thank you for the reply. The topic can be closed.
  7. Thank you guys for the quick answer and sorry I explained it wrong. What I mean is: External port 1234 -> internal port 5678 for ip 192.168.0.10. So I can access stuff from external.
  8. Hi, Since the R1 currently doesn't support, I still need to use it together with my old router. Does the new one support it? Thanks eXi
  9. Thanks for the update. Will there be a fix in the future?
  10. Hi, I don't have ISP modem as I have only a CAT 6 plug in my flat and switch+fiber cable from my ISP is in the basement. My old router was dead, so I bought the netduma on black friday. I connect the cable directly in the netduma and create a PPPoE connection. Recently I got an upgrade from 100/5 to 160/10Mbit. In the speedtest I only geht 80-90/10. When I create a PPPoE connection on the PC I get the 160/10. I have already done: ipv6 disable, turbo mode on, reactive etc. Any ideas? -eXi
  11. @Jack Sorry to interrup this thread but it's also regarding the GEO filter. Ih this screenshot https://imgur.com/a/GOubfthe GEO folter is disabled? The GUI looks different compared to the documentation (maybe an older firmware) Thank you.
  12. Thanks for answer Jack. Everythings answered now.
  13. Hi! I am considering buying a netduma router. So far I am using a regular TP Link router, which also allows me to acces certains ports from external. So for example: port: 1234 (servive port) -> internal port 5678 -> used on a static ip for a device. So no I can access from external with myip:1234 the internal device. Would this also be possible on the netduma or do I need to setup it like? netduma (port forwarding) port: 1234 -> setup the WAN from the tp link router to a static ip -> etc. Geofilter: I unterstand that the yellow circles are deticated servers. How would it look like if you are connect to a regular host and does it even show if you are the host itself? Thanks in advance.
