So does it matter how old my modem is? + does it have good signal strength and do you know how good it is in Australia?

Thanks for the reply. What do you mean by putting it into modem mode? & do you mean connect all devices using internet to the R1? Thanks.

I am considering buying the NetDuma for my modem router, which is a Technicolour 587NV3, I'm just unsure as to whether it will work and be compatible. We have a laptop in the same room as our modem router, so it can plug into that aswell as the modem router I believe. Any suggestions?
