  1. Yea in game is a teleporting match half the time and even my yellow loading bars are jumping not going smooth. Seems this updates worse than the last far as consistency, I’ve had both my best and worst games yet back to back which I assume is others being screwed then it’s my turn to be seconds behind others. It’s worse today than I’ve seen since launch to be honest.
  2. Nope no such luck, just did it again without much of a load. Much as I disliked netgear from my last broken out of the box nighthawk I loved my R1 so I figured netduma could kinda keep shatgear on track. Nope same old netgear it seems and another nighthawk that’s broken right out of the box and still broken almost a year later. Really would love to see duma os end up on routers from companies that actually care about their customers again some day. Cheap as I thought the micro tik looked at first glance I never had a single hardware complaint after years of heavy use. Sorry from what I’m finding most of my support thus far was on netgear forum not here, I thought I’d used both a bit more. Basically I’ve tried every “fix” that’s been posted and none of them seemed to do much anything aside from delay the inevitable reboots for a bit. Did have better luck with the beta Frasier sent me, but that’s 6 months old and it’d be nice to stay current if possible on a router I “upgraded” to from the R1 mainly to use duma os and the new features. Guess it’s my fault for believing this would be fixed with updates and not just taking it back as soon as I noticed it.
  3. Unticked those options as well, thanks fellas
  4. Updated and logging in, like the new map even tho it’s a small change. I’m now now crossing my fingers everything stays up and running, think I’ll hold off on blackout for a while in case cause being top 3 with a decent amount of kills and it going down is painful. It’s so odd cause for all these months since release I’ll not have a reboot for weeks or a month then boom daily or more, get it back working and it’s fine then boom daily again. No rhyme or reason to it I can find
  5. Will do and I’ll report if this is the one that finally works.
  6. Man this router is somethin else, same as before back to random reboots for no reason at all and it’s at least daily yet again. Guess I’m stuck putting the old beta firmware back onto it and hoping that we’re blessed enough for netgear to approve the update to maybe fix my router. Thing I’m confused by is if this beta from months ago seemingly helps to fix this then why dont the more recent updates include whatever fix they apparently found? Any chance there’s a newer beta that may help things along? XR500 and most of my support was here and on netgear forum under Soloflyerz if it matters. This router has made gaming near impossible and at best so frustrating it defeats the purpose of relaxing to play some games after work. Hate to keep coming with negativity, but this thing has driven me totally insane since release, literally the opposite experience from the R1 that I sold like a fool when things were actually working for a few weeks.
  7. Yup agree on the region lock, I’ve not had any luck with getting games if I change my location to test at all this year.
  8. Cmon really giving sim a hard time for calling out widely experienced and even some admitted issues is cheap especially when said issues are lessened or fixed on older cheaper routers whatever their firmware. I loved my R1 and the forum here for years and hope to feel the same about my XR some day, but that days not today. Whether it’s on duma, netgear, or treyarch is debatable, but fact is this router was sold to tons of us mainly for the yearly cod at first and this year has been a rough one at best. It’s not cods job to make things duma friendly it’s the other way around and always has been since day one, honestly since the netgear deal things have no doubt changed for all of us involved. Plenty of folks are still feeling like beta testers and that’s not what I planned to be doing on a 300 dollar upgrade. I’m still fairly confident netduma will get there despite netgear and continue using my XR cause it’s working as intended for most games. Problem is cod was my reason for purchase and is the main game quite a few of us use these features on and updates or fixes have slowed way down compared to previous years. Ever since the netgear deal this community has changed drastically some good and some not, upgrade times, transperency among other things and some of what made this group so trusted and amazing for years has been lost in the shuffle of getting big. Still have faith things will keep moving in the right direction, but pretending he’s wrong for calling out these things mainly because he’s so passionate about this community makes zero sense. I didn’t pay too much attention when he apparently “bashed duma”, but I do know the frustrations that this years causing many of us so I can’t blame him. Even after these PS4 fixes I’m seeing mentioned I still have had issues with not finding games for a while today and again turned some of the features that sold me on this thing off to play. Waiting months for a cloud update or to use features or enjoy a cod release or waiting who knows how long for netgear to approve things like ping assist that’s currently on the R1 on this “upgraded netduma”are a far cry from what netduma used to be. Hope all is good here soon and we can all get back to spending as much or more time playing the game as we are playing with our router setup and features.
  9. Any chance the new firmware will fix the random reboot issue, I’ve already troubleshot plenty with jack and Frazier here and on netgear forum, other accounts soloflyerz. Once again I was fine for weeks maybe longer and now yet again today reboots mid game, beta firmware from September or October kinda fixes it, but eventually it comes back. Can’t help but feel like a 300 dollar purchase beta tester and wish I’d have stuck with the R1 which served me fine aside from WiFi being pretty rough. Seems like the move to partner with netgear has kinda turned netduma upside down lately in all kinds of areas including R1 issues of late. Starting to wonder if the slight advantage of the extra options we have are worth the headache lately, looking around seems others are in the same boat. Loved netduma since I bought the R1, but can’t help feeling like it’s not working like it once did or is supposed to recently on top of this ongoing reboot thing I’ve had since release.
  10. Never mind, no idea how but my pc was changed over to Xbox in dev manager and my PS4 was set to computer. I assume it should work now that their sorted.
  11. Seems all my profiles are suddenly for pc games and none let me actually filter just spectate, XR500 and a PS4 pro btw. Been using netduma for years and seems to have changed today. Did I do something wrong or was an update pushed that mucked things up, call of duty has pc next to it as well as others and even ones that dont like unreal I still get the pc pop up and then can’t filter anything. Since I don’t see other posts I assume it’s not widespread?
  12. Yea sadly the great connection from last week has gotten much worse, the past days it's been occasional and today since the update it's constant. Totally understand there's quite a few kinks to work out with the new system bungie went with so hope to see things eventually work great like Duma does with cod and other mps ive tried it on. I'll keep checking back for any new info or updates, for now have to at least attempt turning off geo.
  13. Played all night with geo on and these set and happy to report things are going great. Thanks for the update
