  1. As I am trying to make sure I have a good baseline to start, I have insured that all settings are as you suggested including cat 6 cabling. To test my speeds uninhibited, I did as suggested, set to 999. This however defaults all IP6 settings in the NetDuma to un-checked. Once I set the IP6 settings in Netduma, had to reboot to realize. After which, During peak hours, I am still only seeing 85 down and 20 up. Speeds are supposed to be 150 down and 25up. Still unable to connect via party chat unless range is spread out across all of North America
  2. Ok, so just a quick update. I DID have the Xbox checked in the VPN section so I unchecked this now.. I Checked these settings next: Use the reactive algorithm Share excess on for device prioritisation Main console in hyper traffic using Xbox Live service All were as you suggested with one question: Based on suggestions I have read I have my Console Upload/Download Prioritisation set to 100% Is this what you recommend at least for now while we are troubleshooting? Or as suggested, at least while gaming? For my Bandwidth settings, I did as you suggested and for some reason, it unticked the IPv6 settings. Which leads to my next question. 1. Everything I have read, if your ISP provides, indicates I should be using IPV6. There are I think three areas within the NetDuma with IPv6, 2. should I tick them all? 3. does this hinder devices that I have typically operated on IPv4 (Xbox 360 for example) since I have had available IPv6 only in recent years? This dovetails into my next question and finding on speeds for both IPv6 and IPv4 I did numerous speed tests during peak hours and was surprised to see IPv6 download speeds significantly lower than the IPv4 speeds I am used to seeing. Non peak IPv6 I am used to seeing 150-160 down and 20-25 up. Peak hours I tested yesterday I am seeing on average 85 down and 20 up Non peak IPv4 I am used to seeing 120-130 down and 20-24 up. Peak hours I tested yesterday I am seeing on average 90 down and 20 up. Based on this, I currently have the Download set at 85 down and upload set to 20 up with ALL IPv6 settings checked. Please let me know your thoughts on these settings and concerns.. Yesterday had me working very late so no chance to really play with it. My intent will be to dig in over the weekend and test. thanks again in advance for your help.
  3. Understood, ok cool thanks for the support and immediate response.
  4. Ok, thanks for the response. So I have some homework and items to give you in order to help, Once I finish working today i will respond but I assume, since you are across the pond from me, that you will not see it while I am still awake? On a different subject, just to double check and make sure I'm not fighting something foundational, I want to start fresh with the bandwidth settings, checking at peak usage times as this may be an issue as well. To this point, How do I effectively disable the control as to see unobstructed speed tests? Is it as simple as selecting no when asked if you want the router to control? should I also reboot? Thanks again.
  5. Had to think about this but understand now what you are thinking and responding to. To be clear, the individual I am trying to chat with lives in the same zip code as me and appeared as such when I selected and added him to the allow list. Thus my confusion as to why maximizing the radius is necessary. In reality, it should not be necessary to increase any greater than the state we live in. However, for whatever reason, no matter how large I make the radius, even trying little by little to increase, the chat is not allowed until I swallow most of North America.
  6. Correct, Xbox One and Xbox 360. Xbox One is the focus as I use the 360 for Zombies and generally not as much so its usually off.
  7. Ok, please see below the screen caps I have. The last one your requirements request I am having difficulty obtaining due to this frustrating error in the last screen cap from my wired PC. Any ideas to address this? Still trying.
  8. Thanks, I see that I already screwed up by not clicking the "here" link you had in your sticky to understand exactly what screenshots you need.. Working now, but will post regarding the missing info snapshots asap. On you other comment, understood. To be clear, I am simply looking to be paired with others equally connection wise as to play the game straight up. Not to sidetrack but I thought thats what the ultimate COD profile is supposed to do? Any way, sorry again for the miss and will post within the next few hours. sooner if I can put out the fires for my job. Thanks and regards.
  9. First of all the obligatory info: Firmware Rev: R1 debug version 1.03.6h Current Speeds: IPv6 is where I have it set and the Average is 115 down and 25 up. Current Set up: Comcast Triple Play Router/Modem/phone placed in Bridge mode followed by the NetDuma router. To Xbox One and Xbox 360 To be conservative, I set the bandwidth to 100 down and 20 up NAT shows as open on my Xbox Current Issue 1 is with Xbox One intermittent God like players : No difference in game play now vs. with my Net gear router that was in place after the Comcast router that again remains in bridge mode. To be clear, I play COD AW and COD black Ops III Before I started down this path to purchase and try the Netduma, I would intermittently get good lobbies where the game would flow as expected. If I was killed, it was legit. However, I would also intermittently get crappy lobbies where 2 to 3 players would constantly survive and or show NO damage after clearly hitting them multiple times EVEN point blank. These are the jag-offs that are constantly at the top of the leader board because of this ability to avoid damage not because of skill but because of the lag advantage. In short, I would watch the replay and if it was as I suspected, an unfair advantage, I would leave the lobby in search for another. annoying, but that was how I dealt with it. Now with the Netduma in place, following the optimal settings guide, using the host filter to rate, (this is after trying the default COD profiles that were useless but I will get in to that later) I literally see no difference. In short, it seems that I have eliminated one or more waves of low income ISP gamers only to trade them in for the next wave of substandard connection gamers. While in tandem,my range of available game lobbies continues to shrink forcing me to expand my range just to even secure a game. The result of expanding the range only seems to multiply the number of sites that i restrict. Current Issue 2: Unable to connect to party chat. Have added friend location to allow, with quality setting maxed, removed strict mode. Only seems to work if I expand the range around the entire North American Region. Since I have a large home with a POE security system, multiple wireless and wired users, Originally I had placed the Netduma in a DMZ after my NetGear router. but for this exercise, again the set-up I currently have EXCLUDES this router and is using Only the Comcast router in Bridge mode with the Netduma tethered right to it followed by my Xbox One console. So with my family connectivity currently limited and my security system off-line to get to the root of the issue, thus the urgency and reluctance to keep this router unless I can get some relief. There are Other issues that I do not like about this product but for now lets start with and focus on the primary 2 problems I have. Please advise soon. I have until Friday to submit for a return and intend to so if there is nothing to be gained.
