Is it possible to add a feature like Fing. You can scan all devices on you network. It will show the correct name and logo for each device. Which you can then save. Name and Mac address linking? I know we have a simple name and file Saving system. But you could automatically link each device into a category for QOS. Maybe even a plugin with Fing?

Next week i'm getting 1Gb FTTH. Was wondering about the R2. Should I still use the Box provided by my ISP? Or just connect the R2 directly. Is it worth getting the R3 as my main then using my R2 in the office like I do now? Now ISP>Powerline>R2

Is this why Beta 5 was the last update on the R2? Have you switched over to the 4.0 branch? Or will you continue to release 3.0 updates for the R2.

Anyone want to buy a R2? So I can buy an R3! -
I have higher Latency using R2, less without.

Ditch the bt hub. Connect the Netduma directly to the ont -
Can't download firmware, keeps failing?

Not NAT errors. PS5 is running in DMZ. Other consoles and PC mostly single player use so upnp is fine on those. TPLink runs bridged to the Sagemcom. With no DHCP. Sagemcom does the DHCP. PS5 is wired to TP Link. If I got rid of VoIP....scrapped the Sagemcom. Used the TPlink as my main modem. And used the R1 in the office via Powerline. Would this work better? Im waiting for my FTTH to arrive. Months or years away don't know yet. But when it does I'll get an R2 and use it as my main as no need for a modem anymore. I do miss blocking high ping players.

Ok looking to try my R1 again. I currently have this setup. IP modem Sagemcom f@st 5366 Wired TPLink VR2800 as AP via powerline Wireless TV Apple TV 1 Apple TV 2 PS4 Pro Sony Surround Sound Bluray > TPLink VR2800 Wired PS5 PC 1 PC 2 Wireless PS4 --- Loads of IOT too lights and Alexa..... Adding the R1 to the TPlink and then PS5 to R1. Any benefits? I'd use my TPlink as main but sagemcom has VoIP and TPlink does not. I'd have to buy 2800v version.

I have been looking for a solution but cant find one on the forum. I had a long list in my Allow Deny. But had to delete it and start again. But it didnt solve it. I have friends whitelisted but the next day they are blocked. I click on there icon and it even shows the one i had saved. So not an ip change. Or whatever could have cause it! Is there a solution or is it just broken on the R1(dumaos)?

Is there going to be another fw update? Not seen anything posted about it. Wasn't the last fw a beta? Was going to upgrade to a Netgear version but lack of fw support worries me. Went with a TP Link VR2800(in Bridge mode) instead. Which had the R1 connected to it.(Also have a Huawei F2000 ISP Modem. F2000>powerline>TP>R1)

Looks like I'll be waiting a while. I thought I replied as soon as email appeared. Oh well. Stick with nat1 for now. -
Modem only vs Modem and Netduma - Benefits?
IREWolfman replied to IREWolfman's topic in TechnoBabble
Is the Vlan function worth using to then? I was looking at getting vyprvpn. Is it correct then that I go Modem > Netduma > Netgear WiFi Hpw many devices does the Netduma support? I think thats what froze it. In my house there is a Wifi: 6 Mobiles, 1 Tablet, 2 Laptops, 2 Sky Boxes, 1 Chromecast, 1 Surround Sound System with Bluray. Wired: 2 PS4's, 1 TV, 1 Netgear D7000.
