  1. @Netduma Fraser Can I have early access for the R3, please?
  2. You're about to summon that guy that comments on posts talking bout firmware anxiety 😆 if you mention firmware three times he appears, like Beetlejuice
  3. I believe I had to factory default it to fix this when it happened to me
  4. Did you leave Congestion Control set to always on or is that just for the bufferbloat test? I know how it's supposed to work on auto but I left mine on always on yesterday, not sure if it contributed to the more consistent games
  5. Just tried your Congestion 50/50, Bandwidth Reservation 10U/10D settings satinghostrider, they seem to have worked really well for me tonight. I'll keep it like this for now to test it, thanks.
  6. @TODDzillaInLAyou really are a weird guy, did you read what I said? I didn't ask for an eta. I was saying would it be an idea to let people know what is going on. I don't need to explain to you what needs work just look at the forum and find out. 🤣🤣🤣 I've made posts, sent logs, done tests with screenshots to help fix issues. I'm saying I can imagine there are a lot of people waiting apart from you apparently.
  7. I feel like we could do with a progress update saying what stage they are at, not asking for a release date on a new firmware but a progress checklist on fixing bugs etc. We've fixed this problem now we're testing x and y. R3 owners can see what is awaiting a fix via firmware which would prevent people reporting the same bug multiple times when a fix is in the pipeline.
  8. I had a weird thing happen yesterday, I was in an MWIII pub TDM and hit detection felt really good. I was like let me check my ping because I was expecting it to be lower than normal. I checked Netduma and ping was showing around 58-68 with steady ping. Usually it's around low 20s with steady ping yet the higher ping felt better. Is there an explanation for this with lag compensation or something as I always thought lower ping was better. The server was still a near by server so I'm not sure why the ping was higher than usual. My question is, it worth setting the steady ping - target ping under expert to 60 or something. Has anyone else tried this?
  9. Yeah I watched those LowPingKing videos on youtube which made out like everything was running like clockwork and I ordered. I feel the same, the release should have been delayed as pretty much everyone has the same issues. Feels a bit like I paid full price to become the beta tester. I'm just hoping the next firmware is released soon and the basic functions of the router are working at least.
  10. Who else is checking the forum daily to see if there is a firmware update 😆
  11. This doesn't just happen with an Xbox it happens on my pc aswell if you don't have a static IP address set in your device you sometimes have to reboot the router just to get it to assign an IP.
  12. Yes I've already reported this problem, a reservation doesn't help, a static IP address in the device is the only thing that helps. The DHCP server in the router is taking too long to assign the IP address, it's a bug which needs to be fixed..
  13. Hi Fraser, When I had the crashing issue I believe it showed the gateway but wouldn't ping the 192.168.77.1 gateway address even if I put my PC on a static IP address on the 192.168.77.x subnet. I seem to remember it only displayed the Lan LEDs. Reboot fixed mine and it happened again shortly after and would do it randomly, it stopped happening after I defaulted the router and set it all up again, however I've gone back to 4.0.23 until the next release. I sent you a log straight after it happened so I don't know if that told development anything?
