  1. are you using upnp or port forwarding?
  2. Melbourne Telstra Server --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Perth Telstra Server -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As you can see the ping varies a lot testing against the Perth server which confirms what the Belong tech advised me, which is that they don't have a server in Perth and all there W.A customers are using the Melbourne server
  3. I do need PPPoE username and pass input into my ISP router but don't use PPPoE on my Netduma and its working like this but is that the correct way of using the Netduma in my circumstance? Kind Regards
  4. So my ISP has fixed the problem with there server and all seems to be back to normal now (My PING is pretty poor due to the server being located in Melbourne and i'm located in Perth) HINT to anyone located in Perth Western Australia, do not go with Belong This i my PING: PingPING 8.8.8.8 (8.8.8.8): 56 data bytes 64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: seq=0 ttl=53 time=73.944 ms 64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: seq=1 ttl=53 time=74.387 ms 64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: seq=2 ttl=53 time=75.180 ms 64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: seq=3 ttl=53 time=74.005 ms 64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: seq=4 ttl=53 time=74.585 ms 64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: seq=5 ttl=53 time=74.413 ms 64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: seq=6 ttl=53 time=74.448 ms 64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: seq=7 ttl=53 time=74.305 ms 64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: seq=8 ttl=53 time=74.643 ms 64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: seq=9 ttl=53 time=74.896 ms 64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: seq=10 ttl=53 time=74.527 ms 64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: seq=11 ttl=53 time=74.335 ms 64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: seq=12 ttl=53 time=74.655 ms 64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: seq=13 ttl=53 time=74.450 ms 64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: seq=14 ttl=53 time=74.068 ms 64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: seq=15 ttl=53 time=75.204 ms 64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: seq=16 ttl=53 time=74.804 ms 64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: seq=17 ttl=53 time=74.610 ms 64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: seq=18 ttl=53 time=73.861 ms 64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: seq=19 ttl=53 time=75.165 ms --- 8.8.8.8 ping statistics --- 20 packets transmitted, 20 packets received, 0% packet loss round-trip min/avg/max = 73.861/74.524/75.204 ms Tracetraceroute to 8.8.8.8 (8.8.8.8), 30 hops max, 38 byte packets 1 10.0.0.138 0.551 ms 0.562 ms 0.576 ms 2 155.143.131.47 60.979 ms 61.135 ms 61.232 ms 3 141.168.7.2 62.998 ms 66.217 ms 87.167 ms 4 139.130.141.1 62.252 ms 62.167 ms 62.146 ms 5 203.50.11.107 63.718 ms 63.087 ms 64.099 ms 6 203.50.11.122 72.941 ms 74.772 ms 73.591 ms 7 203.50.11.173 72.293 ms 71.806 ms 72.722 ms 8 58.163.91.202 72.923 ms 72.985 ms 73.225 ms 9 108.170.247.81 73.262 ms 108.170.247.49 73.759 ms 108.170.247.33 74.928 ms 10 216.239.41.83 73.026 ms 216.239.40.255 73.140 ms 209.85.244.15 74.334 ms 11 8.8.8.8 73.671 ms 73.369 ms 74.105 ms
  5. Update: So after extensive time spent on the phone to my isp it seems something has to be wrong on there end and are in the process of trying to fix this but i realized that if i connect to my VPN client everything works? so until my ISP fix the problem i have put my VPN settings into my ISP router and then connected to the R1 and have got everything running fine like this, although its not optimal at least its working until my ISP get there shit together. Seems to be a DNS related issue if anyone else is having similar problems i advise you to contact your ISP but in the meantime it may be worth setting up a VPN Will keep you all posted as i wait for my ISP to go over this.
  6. Nope not the fix unfortunately Its already set to automatic.
  7. I use PPPoE but tried using this setting and it didn't do anything? also i am connected to the internet without doing that? The PPPoE username and pass should be in your ISP router shouldn't it? Just tried this again but it gives me the error when trying to load misc settings so i disabled it. What exactly is the PPPoE part intended for in the WAN settings? sorry i am no network specialist
  8. EDIT: I HAVE NOW HAD THE SAME ISSUES WITH OTHER ROUTERS SO IM 99% SURE ITS A ISP PROBLEM ATM AND AM IN THE PROCESS OF GETTING IT BACK UP AND RUNNING BY THE 30TH OF THIS MONTH, WILL KEEP YOU POSTED I CAN CONFIRM THAT IT IS THE R1 THAT WILL NOT CONNECT MY XBOX AS I HAVE REMOVED THE R1 FROM MY SETUP AND HARDWIRED INTO THE ISP ROUTER AND NOW XBOX LIVE IS FULLY WORKING??? Xbox live still won't connect, even trying to check xbox live status on the r1 wifi times out, checked xbox live status on my mobile through the R1 and times out. If i use my phones cellular data it will load instead of timing out and says it all good? My NAT says Open but service info is always unavailable Jut performed a network test through the xbox and that's all good, proceeded to perform a multiplayer test and get: Unable to finish multiplayer tests Back up and test again \. If it still does not work, there may be a problem with your network (0x0000000000000000) Tried putting my xbox onto the wifi instead and it connected with a strict NAT and still the same problems? Also notice that my cloud setting never load? just sits there loading Also just noticed that certain pages will not load on my laptop through the r1 wifi like: http://support.netduma.com/support/home http://support.netduma.com/support/solutions/articles/16000023979-optimal-settings-guide It just hangs on loading What is going on???
  9. Roger that, already disabled the wifi on the isp hub. I did originally use those settings but got told to set it back to 100 for testing by one of the guys of the netduma team. Have now got it set at 70 again. Could we first wait for the xbox live service to go back online please? as i'm trying to get my xbox online with no luck but suspect its due to xbox servers?
  10. Ok ill go of the wired speed tests, should these be performed through the R1 or connected directly to the ISP hub?
  11. Ok so my adhd kicked in and i couldn't wait 5 mins for a reply lol I followed your advise but because i got confused i used the reset button located on the back of the R1 instead of in the settings Ran into some issues trying to get the ISP hub connected once i had reset it and then had it online then followed the steps given to me with the R1 box Not sure if the FaST router is just a piece of shit as it took like 4 restarts to connect online. I also assumed you power the R1 straight up after the ISP hub without waiting for the ISP hub to connect to the internet? I was trying this way but gave up and waited for the hub to connect. Avast it did eventually connect so i then powered the R1 back up and now i'm back baby! well at least on my mobiles wifi and the laptops. Not worth trying xbox live atm due to the uncertainty of the xbox live network atm No more error when opening misc settings! My god i could french kiss you right now BENORMOUS ! LOL i have been tinkering with this for over 9 hours no joke Still a bit confused as to what im supposed to have in my bandwidth settings though???
  12. via the miscellaneous??? that part confuses me lol sorry
  13. Thats a negative on the reset button on the back of the R1 The profiles i created are still there? absolutely stumping me as to why my laptop can connect to the internet via the R1's wifi but my phone can connect to the R1 but not the internet. Really need some help with this one guys???
  14. Realised there is a factory reset on the back of the R1 and i only tried the factory reset option in the interface menu which clearly didn't fully reset it because it saved my profiles. Going to run off and give this a shot, wish me luck brother
