hi Jack i have disabled the host filtering but am not getting any connection to the WL fut champs server. The connection error message is always showing connection lost please help

hi Jack, I am residing in Singapore. Usually for the last 6-9 months, i have getting server located in the South east asia region on the Duma map . I just played the DKT (they should be the same fut champs servers) . The server located on the duma map was in the USA. ID - c5a9dfaa46642126 i have Disabled the host filtering temporarily. However, i texted my opp and he mentioned he was residing in thailand and the game was decent. Definitely not a game hosted in the US and play by 2 players both residing in South East Asia. Hi Fraser, Just yesterday i am getting US server locations instead of the usual Asian servers locations. Is there any issues with the map plotting? Have resetted the netduma , but the issue remains. If i enable the geo filter to Asian region (As per last 6 months) i am then not able to connect to any server (fut champs fifa server) Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi Fraser, are the server locations (Asian servers) updated in the cloud for the netduma ? Is the update automatic , or do we need to manual update the cloud on the netduma interface? Cheers

Hi fraser Could it be the possibility of the congestion control settings on the netduma? (being set at 70%) The home side is supposedly the side with a "better" connection (deemed by EA) , maybe with the congestion control setting in place at 70%, EA considers us as a "poorer" connection and hence always the away side? Could this be a possibility? I have switched to another router and have 80%-90% chance of home games. Anyway, the overall connection as an away side is no different to home games

Hmmm, i am only able to connect to the "malaysian" server (as seen on the duma global map) -server seems heavy -3 bars however, feels quicker than the hongkong "4bar" servers Wondering whether the other SEA servers have been classified, so i can try connecting to them. cheers

Hi Fraser, Got a message that more FUT servers were added to the South East Asia region. Have the Duma cloud been updated with these new servers? Cheers

Hey, anyone getting re routed to the US fut servers (for daily knockout tournaments) ? I have forced connection via the netduma and connected to the Asia "hongkong/japan" servers. Have been experiencing 40ms lag with 4 Green bars up till last night. Suddenly, the same settings got me 1 Red bar and 180ms lag. It seems the Fut servers in Asia are routing me to their US servers. Does this sound possible or logical? Anyone else experiencing the same issue? Or do i need to update the netduma? or anything else i should try with the router? or purely an EA issue? Cheers

Hi Fraser, yes i have placed the Duma on DMZ mode (on static ip). Generally, most games are smooth. However, i am still tinkering with the Duma to get the best settings to achieve good bufferbloat and speed.

Hi Fraser, Will give it a try on the Vlan tagging, as the IPTV is Vlan tag20, meaning i need to set 2 Vlan Tags. One more interesting observation after installing/applying the Netduma , i never seem to host any FUT seasons matches. Connections are good and stable with the geo filter and ping assist settings. However, interesting before the Netduma, i do actually Host majority of the games on FUT online Seasons. And i read that the Host is always the one with the better internet connection? Does this mean i am losing some internet speed with the Netduma router? Afterall, my setup is not as per the Netduma recommendation due to my IPTV subscription. Modem > Singtel Router > Netduma R1 with all devices connected to the Duma also, i have not put the netdum in DMZ. Double firewall causing this issue? Will put the Netduma in DMZ tonight and test whether i can start to Host games on FUT online seasons again. Cheers

Hi Jack, Sorry for the late reply. Could i do Modem > Singtel Router > Netduma R1 in DMZ with all devices connected to the Duma? however, IPTV (singtel) connected to the Singtel Router. Cheers

Hi, does anyone know how to connect and set up the netduma r1 to the singtel fiber modem. (from Singapore) Other routers like asus, has a specific vlan tag singtel profile. Or, is the only way to connect the Netduma to the singtel provided router and stack the connections, router on router. Hope someone from singapore can help! cheers!
