  1. Yes I agree. Right now for me, I’m on the flip side and am getting the short end of the stick. I’ve been noticing that the game flips for me every update since COD Infinite Warfare. i believe this is intentional. I think the good games keep you coming back, but if you won or did really good every match we’d get bored, like “this is too easy for me now.” For a while I thought it was tied to the end of my Internet monthly cycle so I just figured it was happening because my internet was being throttled but found that not to be the case. But it’s just a game.... so enjoy killing me over and over again as I tend to spawn right in front of you, I get no aim assist when ADSing and you hear my thundering footsteps (I do believe audio is manipulated more when your having good matches because I notice everyone sounds like elephants in my good matches & like mice in my bad ones) It will be my turn again in about 2-3 weeks.
  2. After reviewing the optimal settings article I found my solution; I didn’t have Auto ping host enabled. Problem solved. Thanks guys!
  3. I can’t get it to work for nothing. Not it a practical way, at least. I can get it to work if I set ping assist to 100 or set my radius to 1000 miles, but what’s the point then? Am I alone on this? I’m playing on PS4 and Xbox both Cold War and modern warfare.
  4. In effect, isn’t putting the geo filter in spectating mode and enabling fast search the same thing?
  5. Yep. Makes sense to me. Ultimately that’s the reason I am not going to use DMZ.
  6. Doesn’t this (turning your NAT filtering off) expose everything connected to your router, rather than just 1 thing put in DMZ?
  7. watching this video made me believe that all incoming traffic would go to the (DMZ) device outside the firewall first, thus making it ideal to have your console in DMZ.... but I get that it’s dangerous, too.
  8. So packets coming in for my kid playing Minecraft on their phone, which is behind the routers firewall will pass through my DMZ console first?
  9. My concern isn’t achieving open NAT per se. I was just wondering how DMZ affects my gaming packets. As in do incoming packets for all devices on my router pass through my console in the DMZ first, or do packets coming through go directly where they are needed?
  10. My question is: does putting my console in DMZ negate the affects of traffic prioritization? Meaning will DMZ help, hinder or have no effect? Correct me if I’m wrong, but a console in DMZ bypasses routing rules?
  11. Nothing, no icons at all come up in the geo filter. I changed my download and upload from 70/70 to 80/80 and now it works fine (including being able to filter which incidentally the game plays better without filtering mode enabled.
  12. No I don’t see anything being blocked while in spectating mode & I don’t get any error messages from the game.... it just simply will not join a match until I remove the PS4. Could this have anything to do with the SBMM?
