I bought the R1 specifically for this game as I'm in the Middle East and the best ping I can get is 120-140, but lately I've been getting a lot of games with ping over 250. I tried the geo filter and it just doesn't seem to detect when I'm actually trying to find a server. Any info would be great! I forgot to mention that I'm using a PS4 and will be more than happy to help the NetDuma team to make this game compatible in any way possible. Just to make sure follow this guide to make sure it is displaying everything correctly. While I can probably say that the geo filter works (sometimes), I'm having worrying issues with Ping Assist, which does not really seem to work at all, as I keep on joining servers with 200, up to 300 ping despite my setting being at 70-100. A major issue with host filtering with Rocket League (and probably the most frustrating one) is that the filtering kicks in way too late; after the game starts joining a server. This means that I end up starting to join a game, waiting for a good 15 to 30 seconds for the game to realize that I cant connect, waiting for the game to take me back to the search screen, and repeating the process again several times, until I finally join a game with much higher ping that I would have expected anyway. Ping assist only enables servers outside your radius that are under that ping. You are still able to connect to servers within your radius that may be higher than expected. That sounds like it works the same as FIFA and Halo, which is not something we can prevent. Make sure you have auto & bleeding edge cloud enabled and applied.
