My netduma keeps on factory resetting by it self at least once a day

It's been 10 days since I first tried to get help on Facebook, only to be forced to this forum!! I didn't pay 250usd for this kind of customer service, to do the "Tour" at least 7 times STEP BY STEP and it still keeps on resetting. All I want to do is speak or email with a technical expert, without your followers or your nonexperts reiterating to follow the "tour" step by step, which I did multiple times.....you may consider it rude, but I consider it to be poor customer service and we are probably both right. Honestly, I'm starting to feel like this is a scam because I have 1 week before I get stuck with what I'm starting to believe is a broken router.

 

 

Now let's try to resolve the problem, nobody told me to update the firmware, so that's a No. I will try it tonight, so far since I rebooted my router I had no problems, but that was only a couple hours ago.

Crossy is an Admin here who was picked by Netduma to help troubleshoot and has so many support posts that I'm pretty sure he knows what he's doing ;)

 

Troubleshooting a networking problem is complicated and you have to have patience and try everything to find the root of the problem.

 

Besides that, we all help each other out on this forum. No advice is bad advice when it comes to troubleshooting.

It's not my problem there's no link, that's just another example of poor customer service, but it still happened...

 

It means Facebook is not for support. Hence the "For all your support needs check out our friendly forum." It does not say check out our Facebook page for help, wait 10 days for a reply, and then rage on our forums because we told you to go to our forums from the beginning.

 

Now until you updated your router to the most recent version then I don't think anyone else is going to give any more advice.

This is a joke!! 1st, Fuck yourself, FB gave me tons more info/directions, way better service then this dog shit forum, with complete dipshits like yourself!! Please send me the return slip!! I'm done with this clown show. Find another sucker to buy your shit, but you not getting my money, you scammers.

So the problem hasn't occurred for 2 hours which is good. When you get a chance, it would be good to get an update done like Mod Box suggested. But there isn't anything more that can really be done until we know if the problem is fixed.

 

If you still want to know how to return the router, you need to read the return policy on the Netduma website - all details are listed in there.

Your preaching of the "tour" was absolutely worthless, more of my time was just wasted because it again magically deleted everything and sent me back to your favorite subject "the tour"!!

 

For at least the 20th time, I will input my Xboxone/bandwidth/location(because the router always puts me in Kansas) and the other part of the infamous "tour"! This time, I will take the advice of AsNCo and reboot the router after I put in the settings! FYI-the router is sitting on a desk with a FT radius of any other electronical device. I know this is hard to believe, but it might be the router and you are just not willing to accept it.

 

In the mean time, please give me the information on how to return this Router.

Remember, as Crossy said, it's under 'Settings -> Miscellaneous -> Reboot Router'

If there is a technical fault that we cannot resolve, we will give you an RMA code and you return the router.

 

However, in this case you have been given helpful advice from a forum admin plus other active members of our user community. Please follow this advice as it will resolve the tour that is popping up (i.e. complete it all the way through and it should then be gone, unless if you factory reset the router) and please let us know if you have any other issues that you need help with.

 

We do not tolerate rude language aimed at members of the forum so please refrain from doing this any further. This is a friendly, helpful community and I am sure we will be able to get you  sorted if you are open to the suggestions in this thread.

The router reset again, I want a return ASAP, if not, I will dispute the charges through my cc and report Netduma to the BBB. I will no longer respond to this thread, please let me know if there's a number I can call to reach an EMPLOYEE.

-I Am MoD BoX/find a real job, stop playing Customer Service because you will lose Netduma money/customers

-Crossy/Bring something to the table besides "Tour", especially since I did it at least 4 times (more like 7 now).

- you can't expect to sell high-end routers and expect the unemployed/members/anyone with a keyboard to solve the issue. If you sell high-end, you have to act high-end. If this was cheap toilet paper, you can put "I AM Mod BoX" in charge because then he could finally be a Tech specialist.

 

I was extremely frustrated, now I believe this is a scam for Netduma to sell crap by delaying the 30 days. Or, my router has a faulty reset switch in back.
