procreate Posted August 19, 2015 Share Posted August 19, 2015 so far this game feels gimmicky. that said, i am NOT a sniper kind of person but with the bow i just took out 4 in a row with it and felt fairly gratifying. i think the specialist though is a really bad idea to put into the game. once again, this isnt a REAL CoD... its a wannabe every other game. the wallrunning is nowhere near as good as titanfall. and for god sakes, put sleight of hand in the game. i feel like a douchebag when i run out of bullets and spam the launcher in someones face. i couldnt win a game of dom to save my life with it always like 6v3 for some reason and none of my teammates can cap flags. i really dont like the swimming aspect either. again, gimmicky. lobbies seem rather empty. demo is a pain to play with easy lockout points on the sites. cant find a game of hardpoint, or ctf. TDM, meh. the hit detection is still the same old crap. i dont know if this game is going to be successful yet. i think i have my r1 geofilter set too large for good games or the game is just failing to keep up. i have seen killcams where the person killing me died before i did on the killcam, multiple times. procreate Posted August 19, 2015 Share Posted August 19, 2015 The latest in-game patch really stabilised the framerate to 60fps as far as I can see. im still getting huge frame rate losses. also i am only getting NAT moderate still, rebooted both R1 and PS4.... anyone getting open? Z,IMO the game is s**t.It's same s**t different day.Feels just like BO2,which is great if you liked BO2 but I did not.I know it's only the beta so my opinion could change when the final product is done.That being said...hit detection is god awful,it's still laggy and I watch the ping bars and still it seems the guys with the 2-3 bars are at the top of the leader boards,sure it could be just a fluke but... procreate Posted August 19, 2015 Share Posted August 19, 2015 For I who have to wait, what do you guy's make of the game as a whole? maybe i am the worst opinion here and probably one of the most jaded since i want old CoD back with a really great engine and maps, perks etc... this is just another step away from that. it feels to me cobbled together. i know its a beta and only 3 maps, but to me they are super over saturated with color and just messy. the guns [so far] have no personality to me. the specials dont make it any better of an experience and they still have the netcode issues as well as engine issues with framerates. that said, ill play the beta some more over however long its happening but wont be buying a copy. i might play my sons copy if he ends up buying it from time to time but not like past CoDs. if activision ever does release the old CoDs on next gen i will be all over that... or waiting patiently until Ghosts 2 [and starwars battlefront, but i dont have high hopes for that one doing that well and hoping i am pleasantly surprised] im sure however there will be loads of 3arc fanboys glowing about the game saying its the best CoD ever...
