Who else is ridiculously excited about this season? I think it will be much closer than last year.

Predictions:

Top 4:

1. Arsenal

2. Chelsea

3. Man Utd

4. Man City

Relegated:

Sunderland

Watford

Leicester

These will probably look very stupid by the end of the season.

(Feel free to discuss the Football League too)

It's all my mates ever talk about haha.

I'm not too sure if it's too late to enter, but a Netduma Fantasy Football league would be pretty fun.

I know nothing about the Premier League these days. My knowledge died the day someone stole my football sticker album in school.

Either way, it would be fun!

Yes me too! It should be very interesting with teams taking a few points of one another.

Predictions:

1. Man City

2. Chelsea

3. Man United

4. Arsenal

Relegated:

Bournemouth

Norwich

Sunderland

I'm surprised you think Leicester will go down ahead of Bournemouth and Norwich after a strong finish to last season but we'll see!

Good idea - anyone else up for joining a Netduma Fantasy Football league? I think the points would have to start from week 2 but that's not the end of the world.

I was banking on the Claudio Raneiri effect, the man lost to the Faroe Islands! Mind you, their performance on Saturday could show I'm completely wrong.

I hope Bournemouth stay up, it's a Football Manageresque story line.

Takeing in consideration last 2 season you both could be right.

Lest look on the season 2 which Arsenal bloow the competition away unfortunetly only before Christmas time just as Rooney sad. End up 4ht.

Now last season good finsih of arsenal which is actually common for that them to speed up on the second bit of the season. End up 3th.

So first guess the will be around those as they usually are. In my opinion and bear in mind i go for the GUNERS. To be able to get that tiger trophy they need some young serious fire in a front just like Jackson Martinez from porto.

Now Man united will take some time to recover to its glory tough they are in for the win again anything can hapen.

Man city with that cash behind they are always in the pool diferent thing is performence in europien cups though.

And the biggest unknown for me is the Blues. Will have to wait and see. Another grate seasson.

Would be nice if Bournemouth stayed up, their ground only holds just over 11,000!

I don't tend to get excited about the Premiership due to the fact that my team, Everton are not going to challenge for the title. Since its conception the PL has just been about money and who can buy the best players and pay the ludicrous wages.

It's great to see that teams like Bournemouth can progress but they just don't have the money to attract the top names

So if you follow the likes of Chelseea, Arsenal, United or City then the new season can be an exciting one as you will likely be in the top four as well as competing in Europe

Anyway rant over lol

Totally agree with you, but from another prespective.

We (The Netherlands) used to be good in Europe (sometimes superb througout the history of football), but it's all messed up now if you see how much money there is in the EPL and other leagues.

Usually we sold our players when they were, like 25-26. Now they go to the EPL, Bundesliga, La Liga when they are 21. This means our teams are on a avarage of 20 years old. It's ridicilous to see a mediocre (if not worse) club like WBA spending 17 million for a striker, when the biggest club in The Netherlands (and also one of the biggest names in football history) Ajax can't attract any players anymore from a decent level.

Still enjoying the EPL though. But with that kinda money and the debts of clubs like Real and Barca (no one seems to care) there's nothing we can do in Europe.

Personally I think the EPL clubs really should be ashamed that they are medicore in the Champions League.

When I have to pick my top 4 in EPL I go with:

1. Chelsea

2. City

3. Arsenal

4. United

Relegated:

Watford

Norwich

Bournemouth

The 3 "newbies" are going down again imo, although Watford has some attractive players, Sunderland will survive another relagation scare in the last 6-7 games. Like they always do.

Predictions for this afternoon? There's so many closely matched teams playing each other. I could see Norwich getting points at Sunderland though.

I have to agree with you. The Dutch had some great teams and some great players, to many to mention and always seem to do well in the Internationals. The home nations have been very very poor, both in the Champions League and European and World Cups.

It is so bad in that the Premier League hols to much powere along with the TV money virtually dictate as to when teams will play.

We play to many games, so when the National side plays the players are worn out, but Ithink that most fans just want their team to do well they are not interested in the National team, as they promise so much but deliver so little.

i hope you had a few quid on

Sadly not!

City were very impressive yesterday, as were Arsenal. I'm looking forward to Bournemouth at Anfield tonight. They don't play boring football so it should be a good game.

Really enjoyed this weekend's football, mainly because my FF team did well.

Thought it was one of the best 0-0s I've seen in a while. Chambers had an absolute shocker. Coutinho looked very classy.
