rustynailz89 Posted January 17, 2015 Share Posted January 17, 2015 Hey guys im in australia and had the r1 for i think 2 weeks now when i first got it i had v 1.02.2 and i was getting some superb lobbies however as i have a fibre connection and me speed is 100Mbps down 40Mbps up i upgraded to v 1.02.06 as recommended and set congestion control to reactive to achieve faster throughput speed. since updating the geo filter has been very weird in my case one minute when strict mode is active it does take a lil longer but i do get fairly good games then the next day i cant even find a lobby at first i thought it couldve been the fact no one is playing but it is clan wars time and i know there is a lot of people online i used the snap feature and tried all possible combinations i even have all of aus and parts of new zealand and most of the ocean covered yet it still can find a lobby there doesnt even show a green dot in australia just all the ones overseas that are blocked. when i turn strict mode off it straight away sends me to a lobby in sweeden or america. when i log out of my xbox and then back in it starts to show hosts in australia again after a few hours of playing they all go away and i cant connect again... i dont know what the issue is i hope the next update can resolve some of my issues, and if you guys wanted i can send you any information/data to help aid you on collecting information on making it better for other people as i do not think many people in my country would have the r1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It is currently being tested at the moment as it's in Beta but we hope to have it out very soon. Iain will be on tomorrow so he may be able to add to my comments. They are helping us optimise their region although I don't think they're having the issues you are. I'm going to run a cloud update later today that should make a difference yo everyone, if you're still having issues tomorrow id like to jump in chat and help you out. Manucod where are you from?
