I have since switched it back though since both routers have gigabit LAN speeds there is no benefit for me to have it connected to anything besides the R1, however if I need to connect more devices through ethernet it seems to work fine. abc123 Posted January 6, 2015 Share Posted January 6, 2015 This method will work perfectly fine, it is just a wired bridge to the main router. Since the Xbox 1 is only 10/100 you shouldn't saturate the ethernet cable to the R1. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
