Tubbie.t Posted January 5, 2015 Share Posted January 5, 2015 Hi, Now before I start I want to make it clear that the observation listed is MY OWN observation and not one of the DUMA team. I don't want to get the team into any sort of "ps4 v xbox1 war" lol. I've been running the Duma for a few weeks now on ps4/PS3. And found that is a little gem piece of kit. The number one reason I purchased the Duma was for my online gaming, and the "lag" I was experiencing. All that seems to have gone since I installed the r1. I'm now actually winning gun battles in cod, whilest my son is streaming videos, the wife stuck on facebook and candy crush, oh and the daughter pops in so she can download a missed episodes of holy oaks or what ever it is? All this is controlled........(drum roll)...by me! I DONT LOSE OUT,.....i carry on gameing without any trouble!. Great bit of kit. Anyway I'm going of topic lol. I've reacently purchased an xbox1 and found that host filtering seems to work better than the ps4?. You don't seem to wait longer to join lobby's, you seem to find hosts that are closer? I'm no techie (as im sure your aware..lol) but is this down to xbox live being better than psn? I don't know. Like I said it's just MY observation. I'll speak with our admins and see what their experience is and see if we can optimise it further for play-station. Unfortunately I hit master prestige on the PS4 before I discovered this. I may have never known if the Christmas weekend DDos attack didn't happen. When you added accounts to the family plan it divided the number of months you had left on your account by 2 then rounded up then added them to your account... So I found the following bug: 1. Make free 1 month account 2. Add Account to Family 3. Get 1 month added to family account 4. Remove account from family 5. Rinse Repeat...
