Bot i am still confuse about some stuff. So before i go in to it here is my exact setup ISP virgin media uk 100 mb down bot only around 6 mb up. Virgin superhub in to modem mode then conected to R1. My ps4 isthen connected by wire to R1 then wirelessly my gfiphone5 she usually watch youtube facebook and some www. Same thing goes to my frends pc he does exsacly what my gf i phone plus he may watch some porn. Now its my phone and while i am gamingi dont use it. So that is my setup and i dont know few things: 1. I have read that whit 100 mb download i should use only reactive algorithm and i did use both and is it possible that with my connection i can have better games using preemtive or i should always use reactive. 2. I can find my optimum settings like i mention before the next thing is the %on bandwhit and divice prioritization so knowing exactly my circumstances can some one help get max from this peac of equipment. 3. Since update 6 i can see the host or more likle it disappears when the game is starting when before i updated to 6 i could always see who is the host and there for i could see my ping. 4.what is the dormat serv and why i dont connect to them And the picture attached is some kind of filter on coax that goes to my virgin super hub form the fiber boxx outside of the house guy who have put this sad it isa filter that makes only good singnals go to router so i will never have to reboot my router those are hes exact words Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Based on your usage you are likely to never reach your maximum throughput. 2. To setup the device prioritization, simply drag your PS4 out to be a higher number than the other devices. It sounds like all other devices can remain even. 3. This is definitely interesting, I haven't tested today (gaming) i've been busy with WiFi testing and configuration. Someone else can speak to this if I don't test tomorrow. 4. Is this what you are speaking about? If so those are connections that aren't sending traffic to you anymore, but did once. They should go away after a short period of time. 5. The Filter is to filter out signals that are out of range and some noise. These are good in general, if the technician put it there I imagine he tested your line and decided you needed it for signal quality. When you don't see the host its because you're on a dedicated server, in the next version we will show them. For the up/down percentage I'd recommend keeping it 100% unless you're gaming. Occasionally the small circles would go big but then small again until I gave up searching. Like I said this was a while ago so Im a bit fuzzy on the details.
