My Allow/Deny list did not import into DumaOS

Can anyone help? I clicked on preserve settings when upgrading to the new firmware, but my allow/deny list has not loaded up with the new firmware. It was a pretty comprehensive list that I really don't want to lose. Any idea how I can import it into the new OS??

Hi Chris - unfortunately there is/was no way to carry this over. DumaOS is a materially different firmware to the original R1 firmware.

Ah OK. If I revert back to the old software, will my saved profiles still be there? It won't have wiped them all will it?

Ah man - that's a hell of a list. For what it's worth, you can now permanently Deny servers with DumaOS, so it's become more powerful now. As well as presented in a more easier to read table.

Yes, I did like the new layout.. just not so much the fact that it was now empty! 😢

Oh well, I'm sure once I repopulate the list the benefits of the new OS will far outweigh the loss.

If the speed of bringing up the host details can be increased when you click on them, then that will be a huge help in terms of repopulating that list. Right now it's just too slow to be able to use it as I did previously.

I'm confident that you'll see the benefits, especially of the new layout - the old Deny and Allow feature was almost nonsensical. Over time I hope you enjoy the table more :D

That's an interesting request about load times. I'm a designer, not a developer, so I'm not sure what is causing it to load slower than the previous host descriptor. I might see if this is something our development team knows.
