Wifi seems better than ethernet?????

hey guys so always play with a ethernet cable. lately ive been getting rinsed on cod and my hit detection was horrible. i swapped over to wireless and my hit detection was way better and i am melting people. i thought ethernet was always better. someone tell me how this is happening

Well if it's WWII you're playing the lag comp is borked, so to speak. Sometimes a higher ping is preferable.

 

You'll still get less stability over wireless though - you might get better lag comp with regards to other players in the game, so gunfights might (and it's a big MIGHT) feel more fair, though less stability means you could experience some rubber-banding or lag issues closer to home.

 

It's all mostly placebo and chance when it comes to this though.
