Geo-Filter Changing Home Location

Hi everyone.

 

I'm based in London I was wondering if I change my home location(London) and set at United States(any state with servers available), does that necessary mean I get to play with other gamers in that state?.

 

Does changing your home location to another country necessary mean you get to play gamers in that country?

 

Just a thought, I would like to randomly change countries try other lobbies. If yes it's possible, what are the factors to consider/ disadvantages or changes I have to make to my netduma.
